Babad in mild soap and water then gently clean with a brush. Dry using soft cloth.

i should've mentioned that pala in my post. hehe
how about cleaning solutions? baka may mare-recommend kayo na effective or specifically for white gold jewelry.

samin po, my fiancé said it's cheaper to get rings from the middle east. kaya I contacted my close friend who is based there para maghanap siya. send lang kami ng gusto naming designs tapos kuha din siya ng pixes ng mga available na dun. we will just send her our Promise Rings for the sizes. tapos konting lambing ko sa kanya, she said sagot na niya ang rings naming!!! *clap clap clap*

It's either that or bring to jewelry store for our pieces.
Only my mom is good at the mild soap option so if it's just me, it's mostly the store option.

I read that solutions are pretty much like the soap option eh so never bothered. Takot din ako if it harms a piece, wala naman habol sa manufacturer.

Is it really safe to use usual soap and water for rings? I used t do this a lot and my diamond got a bit cloudy. When i went to the jeweller she cleaned it and grabe super sparkly bigla. She told me not to use soap! Im confused.

sparklingjewel, dish soap and Windex both work well for me and my jeweller said they were both fine. He used to clean mine with cloudy ammonia, too.

Out of topic from the previous posts here but i just booked my wedding bands supplier yesterday! Kakilig.. Mga 2 weeks yata finish na and can't wait to see them..

I think certain liquid soaps can make your ring cloudy. Mine gets all filmy when I wash my hands with the liquid soap in our office! :/ I use a soft toothbrush to clean it and running water.

Me too! Weird nga eh then i hear now na some soaps work, kaya naconfuse. Im scared now so i just wait until i visit the jeweller again to clean it. Pag ako lang water lang din and toothbrush

I'm not sure about soap. But I read somewhere that you can use toothpaste to clean rings (the paste, not the gel kind).

reese, sparklingjewel, I think a soap with any kind of emollient in it will leave a film. I use dish soap since it cuts grease -- usually if my ring is looking a bit cloudy kasi it's from buildup from trace amounts of lotion, hair product, etc.

Can we really get a decent pair of wedding rings sa ongpin with our budget na 10-15k? Kasi sa bridal fairs, yung ok is above 15k lahat. Below 15k, either sobrang nipis, or makapal nga tingnan pero hollow naman yung loob.

^sa Ongpin sis below 15k meron nga dun 8k lang nung nag-canvass kami. Depende yun sa karat at design. Ang matunog dito sa GT yung MayFair.

we got our wedding rings kase from ongpin kase. ayaw namin mag-spend masyado on it kase madalas kame mag-commute and di kame mahilig sa jewelry. nung bumili kame, ang plain 14k white gold ring sa ongpin was around 3k depending on your haggling skills na din.
