^I just happened to drop by this store for the first time and thought about checking it out. Cheaper yung quote nila sakin by about 30-50k, but yun nga i wont get there unless there's good feedback because the setting quality is a bit lacking although the diamonds seem really good quality.

Fiance and I have finally had time to drop by Orogem for a formal quotation. They quoted us about 50k for the pair (half eternity for me, plain comfort fit for fiance with a single diamond) using what they describe to be quality diamonds (color was H or better), in 14k white gold. +20% daw for 18k white gold. As they don't have a ready made half-eternity in-store, i am a bit iffy on the craftsmanship of the setting (which i wont be able to see if ever, until its done). Also medyo mura quote nila vs what our initial jeweler quoted us (around 100-110k for the same pegs pero HK-made and HK 18k white gold). Is there any way to tell if their work is good or should i just not compromise our rings and go with the trusted family jeweler? Laki rin kasi ng savings.

Got our wedding bands from Lee Hwa last year pa. Mine is a rose gold half eternal ring. Kay fiance naman two tone, white and rose gold. Yung free engraving kasi sakanila hindi laser. Nung nag inquire si fiance sa gumagawa ng laser engraving sa SG hindi daw pwede yung gold kasi malambot. Ganun ba talaga? Haha. Sa manila ba saan kayo nagpapa-engrave ng rings?

also, want your opinions na din.
mas makakamura ba talaga if we buy rings sa bridal fair? kase they usually advertise that they give huge discounts at fairs pero iniisip ko kase baka kung sa ongpin kame maghahanap ay maging same lang halos ang presyo in the end.

You can backread in the thread to find stores in Ongpin that our sissies got from the price depends on the ring specs pero sayang din discount kaya mas ok pag sa fair.
If you're worried about the effort, get quotes from your target quality suppliers and go with the lowest one?

I've bought from Mayfair and Meicel.
My friends got from Mayfair too and we're all happy naman even if most of us had to travel to Binondo.
Ok din Meicel and I was given bridal fair price even if I didn't go to the fair mismo kasi lapit lang purchase date ko sa fair schedule.



Sorry but I did not like Matus pieces in Megamall store. They look dull, dirty, and overpriced.
But a lot of people get from them so maybe I'm just unlucky?

biglaan lang din kase yung plano namin na mag-ongpin kaya di na ko masyado nakapag-backread though mayfair nga talaga ang pinakamadalas ko nababasa when it comes to rings.
unfortunately, sarado pala si mayfair pag sundays. same din kay ty po huat na nababasa ko din minsan dito at sa w@w. hay.

ang ending namin dun sa shop na binilhan ni h2b ng engagement ring. ayaw na rin kase namin magpabalik-balik sa ongpin at kahit papano naka-diskwento din kase repeat customer. satisfactory na din ang experience kase we got our rings at less than half of what we initially budgeted for.

Nakuha na namin sa Marry Me rings namin. Excited na kami suotin. Haha!! Super mura lang din yun sa amin. 16k good for 2 rings 1 14k white gold 1 silver. Nagpaquote kami pag platinum 87k daw yun sa amin.

^sis, patingin ng design ng ring nyo wala pa din kaming ring. May suggested na sa ongpin pero di pa kami nakakapunta. And hindi pa din namin alam kung anong design ba ang okay. Sabi ko kay partner imatch namin sa promise ring namin para maganda pa din kahit parehas namin suot.

sobrang simple lang naman ang gusto naming rings ni h2b basta importante samen medyo makapal sya.
ang gusto nga naming dalawa is plain white gold bands lang talaga pero dahil medyo mabato yung e-ring ko, parang nasasapawan nya yung plain ring so i opted for one na may simulant diamonds just to complement the e-ring.
ayoko na din kaseng kumuha ng wedding ring na may real diamonds kase araw-araw ko isusuot at tatanggalin so parang mas practical na saken to get something with a lower price para if ever something (hopefully not!) unexpected happens, di masyadong masakit sa puso.
bale parehong 14k na white gold yung rings tapos may 7 stones yung saken for 7.1k.

we got ours from Mayfair.
we saw yung rings namin sa jeweller, parehong pareho, they were on the rack for about 3x the price we got it for.

Pls help me.. mejo skeptical kasi ako, and ofcors gusto ko makatipid gusto ko sana bumili ng 2 carat diamond  cushion cut/ solitaire in rose gold... then yung wedding band half eternity na 9  small pcs na diamond. in rose gold in.. pls pm niyo saken kung may kakilala kayo na mejo mura. thanks much..
