Nagpa-quote ako ng same design sa Prestige Maker and sa Marry Me. Parang mas mura sa Marry Me. 

Yun quote kasi ni Prestige Maker 15k pair:
1 14k white gold width 4mm, thickness 0.6mm and 
1 silver width 5mm, thickness 0.6mm
total of 15k

Sa Marry Me, madami options, pero kung yun same na 15k ganito:
1 14k white gold width 4mm, thickness 1.3mm and
1 silver width 5mm, thickness 1.5mm

Sa tingin niyo sis go na ako sa Marry Me?

^ sis, as long as the work quality is good, I would choose Marry Me in your case because the rings are thicker for the same price =)

Check lang the quality ha. Because it doesnt mean na sikat yung supplier na maganda ang quality ng craftsmanship. My engagement ring was set by a jewelry shop in Manila Pen and setting was designed b this girl who studied abroad whose jewelry designs come out in magazines. Nice her design, but H2B and I were  honestly not happy with the quality of the setting considering how much was charged just to set it. Design was good, pero not good the craftsmanship talaga and overpriced pa. Honeslt mas OK pa yung setting sa mga shops in greenhills. Kaya ngayon I have to have it reset again kahit ako na magbayad kasi sayang naman the beauty of the stones.

Short listed suppliers mo na ba yan? If not, ask around some more and also check out deals in the upcoming fair.

Pero kung yan lang choices, dun na sa Marry Me more value for money.

Silang 2 short-list namin, actually 3 Mayfair yun isa pero puro daw gold sa kanila kaya naging 2 na lang yun na-short-list.

Nag-tingin kami sa fair puro gold ang nakikita namin na pair. Nag-inquire ako sa Matus, di pa sila nagrereply dun sa design na pinapa-quote namin.

I am still asking for other suppliers pero so far Prestige Maker and Marry Me yun pasok sa budget namin.

hi blackgreen, marry me seems to be the one that's better value for money just basing on the thickness of the bands (which will translate to fhe weight of the ring)

We got ours from SuarezWeddingRing. We tried to canvass in Ongpin last year sa sobra daming store dun nakakalula kung san ka kukuha. Ok dun kumuha sa Ongpin if may idea ka sa tunay na alahas but if not baka mapeke ka.

We got our rings from Mayfair na! Inayos (nawala kasi [textspeak!] isang bato) at nilinis na din nila engagement ring ko for free.  Yey!

in my opinion thickness doesn't necessarily mean mas mabigat, our initial ring is thick but mas magaan sya compare sa mas manipis na ring because the design is comfort fit, pag comfort fit usually hollow yung gitna. to make sure, ask na timbangin sa harap mo. may timbangan sila na rectangle na parang make-up.

Pag nagtanong ka sa jewelers ng gold, lagi mas mahal ang quote ng comfort fit because it's solid tapos dinagdagan mo pa ng gold para maging comfort fit.
Naturally, they are heavier.



blackgreen, you should also ask for total metal weight.

okay na kaya yung 19,500php for comfort fit wedding bands, as in bands lang, 14k white gold? 5mm and 3mm in size

we bought our rings na.. we're so happy! this is it sissies!
we bought an 18k two-tone wedding band (white gold and rose gold) with diamond then inside laser engraving..  the original price is 60k.. but since it's chinese new year sale here, we got it for 45k na lang for a pair..
iba ang feeling pag me singsing na.. lalong nakaka-excite!

Nagbago na isip namin ni h2b. Di na yun design na pina-quote ko yun kukunin namin. May nakita kaming design kanina sa Marry Me. Over kami sa budget pero okay na rin. Super nagandahan si h2b dun eh minsan lang siya magcomment sa wedding preps namin. So yun na ipapagawa namin.

Yun ring namin magkaiba yun thickness sa ibabaw tsaka sa ilalim dahil dun sa design. Tapos may tatlong 0.02carat na diamond. Nasa 21k yun total quote niya sa amin

Kilig pala when you get the wedding rings! We got ours today. Kinikilig ako! It's like, this is it!!! Even if our wedding is still a few months away. Hahaha. I was looking at the rings kanina with a silly grin on my face. Mum had to tell me bawal mo pa suotin yan! Hahaha super funny.

And I'm also super kilig because my fiancé also got me an eternity today! Aaaahhhh! I wanted to have an eternity as my wedding band, but he didn't want to because he wanted both of us to wear the same design. So sabi nya he'll get me one when we celebrate our anniversary next year. Sabi ko, ang tagal naman nun. I can just buy one for myself, pero pinagbawalan nya ako. Tapos when we picked up our wedding bands, he also got me the ring that I wanted!
