Balesin made a statement na:

1. The politician reserved the date first. He first asked for it on February 8, 2014. At the time, the wife-to-be did not know about it, so the matter was highly confidential.

2. The engaged couple whose wedding was bumped off did not make a written request for the booking, which is required by Balesin. Because of this, they do not have any confirmed reservation.

3. During peak season like Valentine’s Day, the resort only accommodates one major event at a time.

Ni reserved daw nila, pero sa pananalita niya mukhang verbally reserved lang, mahirap yan, nababago ang verbal, kaya dapat palaging written.

Mukhang wala silang laban diyan, kumbaga their word vs Balesin word.


If this is true na verbal "reserved" lang ang nangyari, I don't think may karapatan na mag-blame blame sina Cesca and Tyke and their families, kasi partly it's their fault, they did not secure the date by having a written contract.


IMO, kung ganyan, dapat mag apology yung friend ni Cesca, si Cesca at etong sister ni Tyke kina Heart and Chiz, I mean, sinisira nila yung couple by making them look like bullies na nag power tripping,

I don't like Chiz and Heart pero ha, this is so unfair to them.

Wala sa lugar sina Cesca na manisi.

^ true.. if di pa naman pala confirmed ang booking nila, and walang signed contract or receipt of any payment made, then wala silang habol. By all means, hindi kasalanan nila Chiz and Heart. But, if may contract na, then they should sue Balesin.

Not a fan of Heart nor of Chiz, but I think sobra yung pambabash directed towards Heart lately.. pati yung pagko-compare and pagpo-pointout ng insecurities nya kuno kay Marian. I mean, give her a break naman. She has reconciled woth her family, she just got engaged. Give her a chance to be happy naman din.

IMO, sila ang masyadong mataas ang tingin sa mga sarili nila ha, they expect Balesin to block the wedding date just because they already said so. LOL.

wow from may 2014 to lets say august, ganong kahabang time hindi pa din sila nag do-down for their venue sa wedding?  Kaloka!!  ganong kahabang time irereserve ng resort yung venue for them na wala man lang down??  If they have indeed made a reservation, meaning with payment, contract and all may habol talaga sila. kaso mukhang wala eh kaya puro media chu-chu lang sila naglalabas ng sama ng loob. 

if i were be Balesin, not only heart and chiz ha, magsue-sue din ako.  aba naninira sila ng name ng resort eh wala naman pala silang contrata pa!!

sorry, i could've sworn it said earlier that the statement came from balesin. hmm.

anyway, kung wala pa nga talagang contract, sila cesca can't hold anything against balesin. i just find it weird na 5 months to go na lang, and the venue is not secured yet.

Wow, the turn of events. It's weird, bordering ridiculous kung nag-exert ka ng efforts to plan and to organize your wedding at a particular location without booking the reception properly. Children's party venues nga napaka strict sa pag-lock ng date eh weddings pa kaya. Unless anak sila ng may-ari ng Balesin, what makes them think that they will be prioritized with just a verbal agreement.

I agree that they have to apologize to Chiz and Heart. As much as I hate them, it's not right for them to be bashed because of this incident. Si Ria Guzman naman kung maka- WTF kay Bobby Ongpin sa FB ibang level. Baka sila pa mademanda sa pinaggagawa nila.

RVO Clears Up Wedding Confusion

I am presently in Europe, but my daughter Anna and nephew Apa have just called my attention to a Facebook entry in which someone claimed that their friends were "bumped off" for their proposed February 14 (Valentine's Day) wedding at Balesin. At first, I was amused by the report, but it seems to be getting some traction and I wanted to set the record straight for everyone.

I wish everyone to know that it was I who actually invited Heart and Chiz to have their wedding at Balesin when I had dinner with them shortly after they returned from their trip to Paris sometime in July and even before they announced their formal engagement. I was therefore very pleased when Chiz and Heart called me a few weeks ago to tell me that they had finally decided on Balesin as their wedding venue. As many of you know, both Chiz and Heart have been friends of mine for some time now. Balesin is one of their favorite places and they go there quite often with their families and friends.

After receiving the confirmation from Chiz and Heart, I immediately checked with our Reservations people who told me that nobody had actually confirmed February 14 as of that time, so I told them to block it off. So, nobody has been "bumped off."

I think Heart and Chiz prefer the Royal Villa (which is presently under construction and will be completed by October), but they are also thinking about Toscana Village, which is quite a magnificent venue for a wedding.

Actually, as long as the wedding parties do not consist of a thousand people, but only a few hundred guests, we can accommodate more than one wedding party at Balesin, even during peak season.

I have dictated this to my secretary from Europe because I think it is a serious matter in which innocent people are being unfairly criticized, and in order to settle the issue once and for all.

^i know! i was duped too. i feel guilty tuloy for quickly judging sila heart and chiz, probably because to start with, i'm not a fan. but still, it was too judgmental of me.

naman kasi, when you say "bumped off", it should mean that your booking is legit and secured, then you were, well, bumped off. parang sa flight bookings lang, you're booked, ticket paid for and everything, but you were bumped off your flight.
