i feel for cesca litton. to be bumped off from your booked wedding venue, and destination wedding pa. ang lapit na kaya ng feb.

and now heart's saying na balesin is nothing final. after causing stress to another couple, nothing final pala ha.

actually don ako sa resort naiinis. Diba kapag nagpareserve ka na ng date, dapat sayo na yon, wala ng pwede kumuha non. Nasa contract yan diba?

So bakit kaya? ano ginawa ng iba dyan (if true man) na nabumped off yung iba na nauna sa date na yon.

I was wondering too how it was possible for a couple to be bumped off. I mean, if indeed Cesca already had a confirmed booking with Balesin, e di me contract na sila pinirmahan?  Di pwede nila I-sue ang Balesin for breach of contract? For damages? Unless they only had a pencil reservation, subject to some approval pa of the board/owners.

I think if this is true, mas kasalanan ng Balesin management. They did not handle ng maayos ang conflict.

Ako din, I think mas dapat kainisan yung management ng Balesin kesa kayla Chiz and Heart. Although I don't like Heart pa din ha. hehe! But to be fair, it's the management naman who decides.

if it was only a pencil booking then by all means may right any couple to get the slot. The rule is, who pays first gets the slot.

BUT if they already paid for it and still they got bumped off, there;s must be something wrong with the resort's management!

Im not a fan of heart but to be fair, mas kasalanan ito ng resort kasi sila magdedecide nyan. Unless kay Chiz ang resort! LOL

Nakita ko reaction ni Cesca Litton sa twitter niya, kalmado naman siya, kaya feeling ko hindi pa sila nakakabayad at wala pang pirmahan ng contract.

I doubt na kung nagka pirmahan ng contract and all eh ganyan siya ka kalmado. Kasi kung nakabayad na sila and may contract, tama, dapat idinemanda nila ang Balesin, may laban sila dun, pero hindi eh, kaya I believe pencil booked pa lang sila.

In fairness naman kina Chiz at Heart, kahit hindi ko sila gusto, wala silang kasalanan dun, kaya nga pencil book, hanggat hindi mo nababayaran yan, pwedeng baguhin yan ng management at wala kang laban dun.

Relative daw pala ni Heart ang may ari ng Balesin, so I think karapatan ng Balesin na unahin ang ang isang relative, lalo na at hindi pa nakakabayad yung isa.

Let's not be hypocrite, tayo din naman, mas inuuna natin ang blood relation kesa sa hindi natin kamag anak.

Unfortunately lang for Cesca Litton and fiance, dapat nag confirm na sila, at nagpirmahan ng contract.

So hindi ako naaaawa sa kanila, it's their fault.

Alphaland, which owns Balesin, is majority owned by the Ongpin family, and Bobby Ongpin (the key investor) is a known ally and supporter of Chiz. So it's no surprise that the wedding will be held there. And I wouldn't be surprised if Bobby Ongpin will "sponsor" the venue.

But I really doubt that Balesin (a well run resort) will cancel a CONFIRMED and PAID-FOR  booking, regardless of who the owner is friends with. Apart from the public backlash, gagawin ba yan ng Balesin knowing that the cancelled party could also sue them (assuming that party PAID.)

Snowball is correct, iba yung verbally nag reserve and iba yung nagbigay ng downpayment.

^diba sis RICHV, kaya sana bago nag ngawa ngawa yung friend ni Cesca Litton na "unfair", eh sana inalam muna niya kung nakabayad na sina Cesca.

Kung nakabayad na sina Cesca, well it's a different story, na I highly doubt based on her reaction.

I hope Cesca clarifies this whole bumped off thing. I can't believe kase na they haven't paid, at least half of the fees for Balesin especially because their wedding is so close na. In weddings, one would normally secure the church and reception before everything else follows. So I'm pretty sure na kahit pano may naibayad na sila don. I find it hard to believe kase na destination wedding tapos yung reception mismo pencil-booked lang eh February na yon, unless they're that stupid. May timelines din kase ang reception venues diba, some of them nga hinde pumapayag ng pencil booked lang, may money involved na talaga. I just can't and don't believe that at this month, with the wedding in February, that Balesin will allow na wala pa silang naibayad.

So yon, I hope she clarifies kase kung wala nga silang nai-dp pa, mejo unfair naman dun sa couple (na kinaiinisan na ng buong mundo). If Cesca and her fiance have properly and financially secured their reservation, then they have every right to sue, and they should.

twelvth_goddess, me too, parang i can't believe na they haven't paid a single cent yet to secure the booking, it's less than a year away! i'll have my wedding a week before theirs, here lang in metro manila. and pencil bookings are usually held for a week lang. what more pa for resorts like balesin?

unfortunately, i don't think we'll know the whole story. yes, if ever sila cesca already paid to secure the booking, it's really balesin's fault. but i think may connections pa rin dyan.

and no, i honestly wouldn't enter into another contract with a relative if i've already committed to other people.
