me too. I cried hard kasi bukod kay Tom Hanks and Mel Gibson, si Robin Williams talaga favorite actor ko. I have watched all his films na. My ultimate faves are Dead Poets Society and Mrs. Doubtfire.

There are people who use humor as a coping mechanism, akala mo jolly, funny person pero magugulat ka na there's deep turmoil behind that mask.

What is most touching for me is reading the personal stories and anecdotes about what a kind, caring and gentle soul Robin Williams was to people he worked with, even when he was a superstar na, and even with people he knew when he was just starting.

The story of the family of the late Christopher Reeves was so touching. He was a devoted, loyal friend to Christopher Reeves up to the very end. They were good buddies pala when they were starting in Hollywood.

And despite Robin Williams personal demons and pain, he NEVER took it out on others which makes him all the more admirable. No bad behavior, no drunken out-of-control stories, no diva attitude despite being one of the world's biggest superstars.

He was, by all accounts, professional in his work and just consistently kind to everyone. I was so moved to read the stories from his neighbors who said he was so kind to people in their neighborhood.

It's hard to imagine any other Hollywood celebrity being so loved and now so celebrated the way he was.

^ Kaya all the more na nakakapanghinayang yung loss niya.  Not only was he very talented, but he was a really good person.  He brought so much joy to people and it's sad na he's dead samantalang there are horrible people out there who are still alive.  It's heartbreaking that this kind, generous soul had such sadness and turmoil in him and felt that he could no longer cope with living.  I wish na things could've been better, he didn't have to die with so much pain in his heart, he deserved better.

He was Christopher Reeve's best friend.  When I learned na Robin Williams was dead, one of the first thoughts in my head was paano yung kids ni Christopher Reeve, their father is dead and now their dad's best friend is too.  That's one more connection to their father, one more source of memories, na nawala.

I was especially moved to hear the stories of how Robin Williams spent a lot of time and effort, over many many years, bringing joy and comfort to the American soldiers serving in war torn countries. My heart melted when I read some of the soldiers' tributes to him.

Well Robin Williams is at peace now and has left a loving, wonderful, truly admirable legacy that I hope will inspire other artists and celebrities to act, behave and live in the same dignified way he did.

i stopped reading all these tributes for Robbin Williams, na-dedadepress ako.
Last year I read somewhere that he is selling his ranch/vineyard because of the upkeep. also the reason he accepted a tv role was according to him, it brings a steady paycheck.

it just baffles me that he had to leave like that. yesterday as i was having late lunch alone, i thought about him, naiiyak ako, yeah corny. I read also that disney world flag is half mask in tribute to him. a very fitting thing to do.
