29 weeks and about to give birth at CSMC.
due on October 5, 2014.
My OB is Dra. Antonietta Asuncion,
she quoted me 80k for NSD, Small private rooms.
Inclusive of her 30k PF. Pedia & Anesthesiologist.

I haven't hear any feedback about my OB and the hospital.

I plan on giving birth to my second baby at Cardinal.

OB is the same, Dra. Patricia Luna-Sun.
For my daughter, we spent about 110K, large private room, NSD, stayed for 4 days.

What I loved about Cardinal was that the labor rooms were actual rooms - separate from each other. So I couldn't really hear anyone else in labor (there were 3 or 4 of us at the time). Great for me as a first time mom as I didn't want to hear anyone screaming in labor!

Hubby was also allowed to visit me from time to time in the labor room - I didn't really notice the amount of time I spent despite being in labor for 18 hours. There's a TV inside.

Hubby was at my side in the delivery room and got to take photos of our baby girl as soon as she was born

Hello soon to be Moms! I am on my 23 Weeks already. My OB is Doc. Beng Santiago (recommended by my in law). She's very nice, cool and very accomodating. She scheduled my CAS this Saturday. By the way may clinic schedule sa sa Mega Mall. Kaso hindi ko pa alam ang PF niya, we're planning din kasi to give birth sa Cardinal Santos Med Cntr. Does anyone knows? TIA

33 weeks here my OB's secretary sent me their room rates. My sister gave birth in cardinal 7 years ago and i think hindi naman nagbago rates nila. My sister got the large private at 2500/day sa maternity floor. I can say malaki ang room at maganda yung ambiance. Medyo strict lang daw sila sa pagpapapasok ng husbands sa delivery room. Sabi ng OB ko pwede ko naman daw endorse sa nurse yung camera namin para sa 1st pic ng baby. Dun lang ako medyo na-sad kasi gusto ko sana kasama si hubby sa DR. Oh well dun talaga kasi gusto ng hubby ko ako manganak kaya no choice. First baby kaya dami kong fears. Sana may makapag share pa ng experiences nila with cardinal.

Hi Sis belle4beauty pakishare naman ng roomrates nila. 80-90k daw abutin kung NSD e. Small private room lang naman kunin namin.

Semi private - 1500
Small private - 2200
Big private - 2500
Big private w/ golf course view - 2800
Jr. suite - 7000
Jr. suite w/ golf course view - 7500
Suite room w/ golf course view - 8500
Presidential suite room - 20,000

For us okay na ang big private. Yung sister ko kasi umabot ng almost 100k for NSD with big private room pero 7 years ago pa yun. Nasa 40k yata PF ng OB niya. Malaking factor ang PF ng OB sa magiging total bill. Yung sister in law ko nanganak sa st. lukes qc last February lang nasa 70k lang bill niya kasi less than 30k lang PF ng OB niya.

Depends on your OB. My OB allowed hubby into the labor room (to visit me) and he was in the DR the whole time til I gave birth. Maybe you have to talk to your OB lang. Some OBs allow it while others won't.

Ayun sabi nga ng OB ko NSD package 80k
CSD - 120k.

Allowed daw hubby sa LR not sa DR depende kung marami nanganganak.

I am not sure with the procedure yet. I mean, pag ba manganganak ako saan ako dederetso.
Ano gagawin pagdating sa hospital. May reserved na ba na room for us. What if walang available dun sa preferred ko na small private lang.

Yung 80k ba na yun regardless na kung ilang nights ako magstay. 

Haven't got a chance to ask OB about it yet.

^About 3-4 weeks prior to your due date your OB should give you the admitting orders na. It will basically outline when you should head to the labor ward. It will include all other instructions for the nurses, attending, and residents. If I recall correctly - mine had instructions not to hook me up to an IV line immediately, call the OB upon admission, etc. Usually they will assess you (perform an IE, monitor contractions) to determine if you should be admitted or send you home to allow your labor to progress further.

On the day itself you go straight to the labor ward and present the admitting orders, don't go to the ER - it's an added expense coz they will have to admit you and discharge you from the ER. In fact my OB said for any emergencies, even when not in labor, go to the labor ward and not the ER.

In terms of rooms - it won't be reserved for you. When you are confirmed to be admitted na they will ask whoever you are with the get a room na. In my case, when they confirmed na I would be admitted for labor, they asked my hubby to get a room. If there's no available room then you either wait or get another type of room.

When I gave birth in 2012, we got a big private room, stayed 4 days and our total bill (including baby's nursery charges) was 110K. This was NSD.

Just gave birth last Aug 2 at CSMC. We spent 110k for NSD including nursery charges. Because they had to monitor my baby's blood sugar level because of my GDM. We got a private room which cost 2800 per night. After my ob confirmed that i was 4-5cm dilated and im already on active labor we went straight ahead to CSMC and went to 2nd floor. Gave my admitting orders  and they monitored my contractions and did a pelvic examination.

^My delivery was covered under my company's HMO so we didn't get the package. I think our cash out was only 25K for partial payment of my OB's PF as she wasn't accredited by our HMO.

Ah ganun pala ang procedure kapag manganganak na. Next week pa ako bibigyan ng admitting order ni OB at 35 weeks. I requested my OB lang na kung pwede isang residente lang at siya ang mga IE sakin.
