^Recently watched City of God sa Netflix, although very violent, it is a beautiful movie.

Nakakatuwa ang daming movies. 
Medyo busy lang ako sa FIBA lately kaya di pa ako nakapanood uli.

Just to add, maganda yung italian movie na Cinema Paradiso. Sort of coming of age tale, and it also tackles friendship, dreams, love for cinema, etc.

Napanood ko na yung Departures.  I like the music Daigo plays in his cello.  Touching yung story although medyo predictable.  There is so much beauty in the way these nokanshis deal with the departed.

I also like watching foreign films with English subtitles.
Dami ko na napanood but forgot their titles.

Finished watching Intouchables.  Very poignant movie and funny too!  Two thumbs up!

Nagustuhan ko yung I Saw The Devil saka Miracle in Cell No. 7. City of God. 3 Idiots. Shutter. Panoorin ko rin mga recommended ng mga sis dito

so far, these are my favorite foreign (non-hollywood/us) movies :   

- 3 idiots
- a crazy little thing called love
- miracle in cell no. 7 (the best korean movie i have seen so far - very nice story and hagulgol level ang pag-iyak ko for this movie)
- children of heaven (an iranian film. my all time favorite movie, ever!!!! 100x ang hagulgol level compared to miracle in cell no. 7)

I would suggest:

1. Y Tu Mama Tambien - a road movie about two friends whose summer experience will change their friendship forever.

2. Patrik Age 1,5 - a gay couple, thinking they are adopting a 1.5 year old child, accidentally adopts a 15 year old delinquent. This is an awesome dramedy!

3. Pan's Labyrinth - this is a social commentary masked as a Spanish fairytale.

Ovosodo- Italian film. coming of age, medyo comedy.
Maria Full Of Grace- Colombian film about drug mules.
Osama- Afghan film about a little girl who had to pretend to be a boy under the Taliban rule.

The Chorus- French film, cute and touching
Kolya- Czech film yata ito about a boy and an old man.

I just saw The Billionaire (Thailand). Grabe pinagdaanan nung bata na yun. Akala ko ipapakita yung life niya as a billionaire (hence the title), but it was all about his struggles pala. Parang walang katapusan. Susuporta na ako nung Tao Kae Noi seaweed.

Tagal ko na hinahanap sa torrents, yung pala Top Secret yung name ng movie, not The Billionaire. If anyone's looking for it, search Top Secret.
