I just watched Cell 211. Yes, it's a must watch, but I don't know what to feel. After the pivotal plot point, parang alam mo na that there's only one (sad) way to go for the protagonist. Tense, riveting, and goes dark fast.

Maka-feel good movie nga sa susunod, try ko nga yang The Billionaire.

Intriga ako dun sa mga banned and/or disturbing movies like Ichi the Killer (Japan), A Serbian Film (Serbia) but I'm too much of a sissy to watch. Binabasa ko pa lang yung summary sa IMDB, parang hindi ko na ma-take.

Ang isang di ko kayang panoorin, (na recommended ng workmate ko dati) is yung Italian movie na Salo or 120 Days of Sodom. Na-ban din ito because of x-rated visuals of rape and torture. The death of its director is even related daw sa movie.

Some people consider this an art film. I read the plot but I choose not to watch it. Parang di ko kaya. Check IMDB or Wikipedia about it.


****Napanood ko na yung The Secret in Their Eyes. There were some scenes na kinakabahan ako. And nung finocus yung eyes ni Gomez sa picture para akong kinilabutan. Yun lang, parang I was expecting a bigger twist in the ending. Parang yung 2hours kasi is a build up of an explosive ending. Pero okay pa rin.

I recommend any of Akira Kurusawa's films. Rashomon in particular. Amazing movie, quite old but still very relevant.

^Siya yung 7 Samurai right? Wala pa ako napanood na film nya, pero inuunti unti ko yung top 250 ng IMDB kaya makakarating rin ako sa kanya.

Pang-feel good lang, nanood kami kagabi ng Pee Mak. Thai movie starring Mauro Maurer. I actually enjoyed it. There were unbelievable and corny scenes, pero over all natuwa ako. Ang cute panoorin nung 4 guys na nagkukulitan lang specially nung sinasayaw nila yung hymn nila sa boat.

Miracle in Cell No. 7. So heart-warming. Super iyak ko sa movie na ito.

Miracle in cell # 7. Grabe kakaiyak talaga to. A story of between a father and a daughter. I remembered "I Am Sam" while watching that Korean movie.

Just recently watched "Departures" (Japan -- my husband found it sad but I found it very beautiful), and I agree, there are so many foreign film gems waiting to be discovered!

I also watched "Departures" and loved it so much! 

I've seen several movies in Netflix but can't remember their titles right now. 

My uncle recommended a French movie, "Le Concert."  I haven't seen it yet but he says it's really good.

My Name is Khan- Bollywood movie, medyo mahaba but worth your time. The story is inspiring.
