happy belated birthday it's actually belated happy birthday
reason: Belated is an adjective meaning made late, having been delayed, sent too late, or long awaited. It applies to something that is late or perceived as late—for example, a birthday card or a delayed apology. It is often used illogically, especially in happy belated birthday and similar phrases. What’s late is the birthday wish, not the birthday, so the adjective is logically misapplied in this phrase.

so if you say happy belated birthday, you're saying happy late/delayed birthday...

this makes me see red. talagang number 1 pet peeve!

Every day VS. Everyday

Everyday is an adjective
Ex:  These shoes are great for everyday wear.

Every day means "each day"
Ex:  I take vitamin C every day.

Should be fill out, or fill in (if you are in the United Kingdom).

i saw this somewhere sa FB "importanter" kaya ginagamit namin ito dito sa office kasi nakakatuwa..  like: "umuwi ka ng maaga may aasikasuhin ka pang importanter"

I like this thread. Learning something.. especially yung mga overly "filipinized" phrases that we assume are correct..
It would also help po, like what most sisses are doing, is to indicate the correct form instead.

This one is a personal pet peeve of mine:

past linking verb + past form of noun

ex:

I did placed it on the table.
I did already walked to the place.

Either omit the linking verb or if there must be a past linking verb, the succeeding verb should usually be in the present tense.

Also,

"I told to you" Drop the to.
