Ty sa tips naku mag-isa lang ako first trip ko na solo ever di kasi makaleave si hubby.

Nag 6 days Osaka-Kyoto-Kobe na kami last Nov kaya naisip ko swak na yung Tokyo ko hehe.

@pinkat sis naumay kami sa mga temple at shrine haha baka pwede mo bawasan. yung Fushimi Inari inakyat namin half day agad. Kung sa Kyoto na kayo nakatira ok siguro. From Osaka kasi kami.

Has anyone bought their JR pass thru this link: http://www.japan-rail-pass.com/? Mas cheaper kasi online kesa bibilhin sa travel agency around 800 pesos rin per JR pass matitipid ko. Sa Universal it's 11,600. Online 10700 lang.

Hi mga sis! We eill be staying at shibuya excel hotel tokyu instead of krio plaza hotel because the former's rate for triple sharing for 6 nights is much cheaper than the latter's. Here's our itinerary. :
April 7: arrive at narita airport at 3pm. Check in at hotel in 6pm. Photo ops at shibuya crossing and hachiko. Shopping. Don quixote.
April 8: disney sea
April 9: disneyland. Tokyo tower.
April 10: mt fuji tour (where can i book this tour? Sa asiatravel kasi not included ang shibuya excel sa pick up points nila. )
April 11: sanrio puroland. Shinjuku.
April 12: harajuku, omotesando, takeshita dori, ginza.
April 13: shibuya shopping until 2pm then go to airport.
I would appreciate any comments or suggestions on our itinerary. Thanks.

Base sa post mo mukhang marami kang theme park na nasa may Tokyo so keribells siguro na mas matagal ka dun. Usually Kinkakuji, Kiyomizu dera, Arashiyama, Fushimi Inari lang naman sikat hehe pero ang hirap magtravel from one point to another max namin in a day 4 lang. Pareparehas lang naman kasi itsura nila halos haha

Sis, I booked my friends for the Mt. Fuji tour via Viator.  The hotel we stayed is not part of the pick-up point nila so they went to the bus station na lang.  Pero if your hotel is quite near to any of the pick-up points, pwede naman dun.  Check mo na lang rates where ka mas makakamura.

Hello po...pa check naman ng Itinerary ko if okay na siya. Worth visiting ba ang Odaiba kahit medyo hindi ko trip yung mga shops dun? Hahaha! Gusto ko lang makita si Gundam, Rainbow Bridge and Statue of Liberty. Pero if it will take up a lot of our time, kahit di na siguro. Kung si Sis Pinkat marami temples, parang marami masyado ang Parks ko, hahaha! Ano ba worth visiting, lalo na at First week of March ako nandun, wala pa Cherry Blossoms. Thanks! =)

^if you just want to have photo op with Gundam and Statue of Liberty, ok na ang max of 3 hours sa Odaiba (considering if you want to have lunch here). Medyo malayo din kasi siya so plan your itinerary well or pwede din night na lang for a more dramatic effect ng picture mo.

Hmmm....how about sa parks, iniisip ko if ano pwede ibawas eh. Mas worth ba mag shopping sa Osaka kaysa sa Tokyo? Yung mga stuff sa Tokyo meron din ba sa Osaka?

@princess lorraine, sis yung triple sharing mo adults? Most kasi ng medyo reasonable na presyo na hotel sa tokyo 6yo up considered adult na kaya ng mahal.

hi sissies! we're back from our Tokyo trip! we stayed sa the park hotel tokyo, the hotel is nice naman. small room pero very clean and mababait staff nila. and true! their train system is crazy! but very efficient and reliable! twice din ata kaming nagkamali sa pagsakay sa trains nila. very helpful yung train system app sa phone ko. input ko lang my current location and my destination nandun na yung possible routes. and the pocket wifi came in handy din. ang bilis nga ng net access sa japan. kahit sa hotel lang 12mbps na agad speed nila. my hubby brought his laptop and every night puro download siya ng movies. family mart is a life saver! pag in a hurry kami sa morning dun lang kami kumakain ng breakfast. ok naman masasarap naman food nila. downside lang sa trip namin, hindi kami masyado nakapag shopping and food trip. kasi i was with my LO and yung parents ng hubby ko. so baby plus the oldies talagang hindi pwedeng sagaran yung itinerary namin. plus ang dami ring reklamo ng inlaws sa mga food. so hindi kami nakakakain sa mga gusto namin. puro resto bagsak namin most of the time. feeling ko ang dami ko pang hindi napuntahan sa tokyo. good thing we got multiple entries so definitely babalik kami siguro pag medyo malaki na si baby pag di na masyado alagain.

the places we visited:
asakusa - this would be probably be my favorite among the places we visited. mainly because nagenjoy ako sa shops sa sidewalks approaching the sensoji temple.

harajuku - we were not able to visit the harajuku place itself. sa meiji shrine (?) lang kami, and hindi pa namin natapos lahat since biglang umulan, kaya we decided to go sa tokyu plaza nalang pampalipas oras. tokyu plaza ganda ng mall sa labas. but inside, maliit lang siya.

ginza shopping district- we went here for my inlaws. they just love to shop ng mga high end brands so nag enjoy sila dito. my MIL hoarded her shiseido products here. some products are cheaper there.

shinjuku/shibuya- sandali lang kami here. kasi hindi feel nila inlaws to roam around here. we were supposed to see the famous shibuya crossing but hindi na natuloy. we just visited don Quixote and 100yen shop bought some items.

akihabara- one of hubby's favorite since gadget lover talaga siya. twice pa sya bumalik dito. we went to yodobashi camera, and heaven nga for those into gadgets/electronics. we were not able to roam around akihabara. sa yodobashi palang ubos na oras namin.

tokyo skytree- we went there malapit na sila mag close. saglit lang kami inside. for picture taking lang talaga. sayang i was not able to buy tokyo banana. i just wanted to try this sana and bring some as pasalubongs. but after namin sa skytree closed na yung mga shops.

disneyland - the weather was perfect when we went there. bad news is, holiday pala sa japan nung pumunta kami. so just imagine yung dami ng tao na nandun. lahat may pila! even yung food! we waited hours to be able to eat. my baby was crying na sa gutom. after we ate, natulog lang si baby. we were not able to ride anything. libot lang talaga. ginawa lang namin pumila ng 30mins sa popcorn stand and bought a monster's university popcorn tumbler as a souvenir. tapos naiwan lang namin sa plane! good thing, nung tinawag namin sa airport, nandun pa yun tumbler and was able to retrieve it a while ago. kundi sayang talaga haha.

overall, tokyo is super beautiful. this is my favorite asian country now. and the people are all nice and very helpful. even hirap sila mag english. they would do their best to help you. and i find japanese women more beautiful and real fashionista talaga. kahit mga oldies na grabe very glam parin tignan. will definitely be back in japan.

Which is better? Tokyo Disneyland or Disneysea? Di kami mahilig sa ride ng mister ko. Photo opps lang gusto namin hehe

Disney Sea is more on for bigger kids And adults. Disneyland more for the little ones and younger kids say 5yo snd below. I would still reco to visit both

^shygirlme - mas ok for photo ops and DisneyLand. There's the castle, plus may 2 parades per day. DisneySea naman super ok ng rides (Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones, Raging Spirits)
