I didn't bother comparing the price with the other providers that I have used. Usually a couple of hundred Yen lang naman yan. As with any service - depends on what works with your personal preference yan. I read the FAQ page http://wifi-rental-japan.com.ph/user_data/[textspeak!].php  and the unit can be delivered to a Philippine address

Sis, from my experience, usually unlimited surfing pero some packages have the "fair usage" policy, such that the download/upload speeds will slow down after a certain usage cap. It is indicated naman in the product page. You'll know it even prior to purchasing the package.

OR - if you're on a post paid plan, you can also consider the 24 hour data roaming package of Globe or Smart. I think it's around US$10 per day. So parang almost P450 per day yan. And if you have a smart phone that can be used as a tethering device, connect mo na lang your other gadgets. It's more expensive than getting a wifi router, pero it is an option.

^hi sis, medyo tail-end pa ng winter ang March so malamig pa.  Boots will be nice to keep you warm but I just came back from Japan and bought from there a Nike running shoes, di na kasi kaya ng powers ko ang walkathon with boots on. Ok naman sya and mas comfortable for long walks.

Ohhhh...kasi hirap makahanap ng boots na affordable. Hahaha.  I was thinking converse or bensimon sana.

^ For me the best takoyaki I've tasted whilst in Japan (been to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka) is in Don Quixote Tokyo Shinjuku ata yun cant remember siya yung sa may entrance. Super sarap. Mas masarap pa than the ones we tried in Osaka.  Can't forget the taste parang sticky yung flour na ginamit! Winner!

I suggest staying in a guesthouse in Tokyo parang hotel na rin eh.

too bad we weren't able to try takoyaki or any street food for that matter. Hirap kasi if you're with a child, may mga consideration when eating out, dapat may fried chicken and rice lagi.

In shibuya, there's Ipuddo Base, parang 4 types of ramen lang ang available, walang pila but we ate at Kamakura, ramen place but you order in a vendo type machine. Aside from the experience trying to order in a vendo, ang sarap ng ramen nila.  Recommended is oishi ramen and pork roast ramen. There's also, Pablo, they sell the famous cheesecake. It was yummy, tastes very different from the NY cheesecake that we know.  One order is good for 4 peeps at Yen780.

where do you buy cheap kitkat (unique flavors) and royce aside from the airport? nagbabasa basa ako ng blogs pero mahirap daw makahanap nung kakaibang flavor, puro green tea daw. totoo ba yun?

^ sa airport yung madaming iba-ibang flavos ng Kitkat. Pag within Tokyo, mostly Green Tea flavor nga lang.. me mangilan-ngilan na iba pero madalang..

When I went to Don Quixote - Asakusa, available lang na KitKat is green tea and strawberry.  All the other flavors are available in the airport.  Store before the security check/right after checking in though it's expensive na.

aside from kitkat, meiji at royce, ano pang chocolates ang recommended as pasalubong?

Hi mga sis! We got our visa yesterday! We're very excited for our tokyo trip on april 8 to 13. We'll be staying at keio plaza hotel tokyo in shinjuku. Pahelp lang sana ako. How do we go to sanrio puroland from shinjuku? How do we go to tokyo tower from ginza? Their train system looks very complicated. Thanks.

^sis google hyperdia. may english site sila dun mo makikita kung paano ang transfers and stuff. sanrio puroland isang traon lang usually from Shinjuku using the keio line. with ginza to tokyo tower use the subway mas madali. check mo na lang sa site

^sis, aside from hyperdia, we used google maps. results are pretty much the same though platform is indicated sa google maps thus, been helpful to us.
