I just got back from my Osaka/Kyoto trip a couple of days ago. Temperature is just right. Food galore and shopping. My most unforgettable thing was my maiko experience in Kyoto. I love the old town ambience in the Gion area.

And today, my husband asked me to accompany him to Tokyo again mid-Nov. Mukhang sulit na nga multiple entry visa ko. Will add more stamps to my Japan tower passport! I was in Tokyo last August but failed to visit the towers upclose since I had two young kids with me.

^In Osaka? OT na to pero depends on what you're looking for, but shopping districts abound! Umeda itself and Osaka station is surrounded by malls and shops. From luxury brands to daiso, you name it.

I was also able to visit Tenjinbashi-Suji, Japan's longest covered shopping street, on my way to the museum of housing...lots of quaint shops n restos, too.

Namba, Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi also are a must.

In Tokyo, I only went around Shibuya for shopping cos of my girls... Couldn't miss my CDG play hoard Seibu and 109.

Day 2: Disney Sea

Has anyone tried the fine dining restaurant at the top of the Tokyo Skytree? Is it worth it?

sis u8mypinkcookies.... malaki ang odaiba at kahit sinasabi sa google map na magkakalapit lang yung mga mall, madaming lakad pa din... ano pupuntahan nyo sa Odaiba sis? Punta ba kayo sa Onsen? We went to Oedo Onsen Monogatari and it was a great experience, na enjoy namin to kahit hindi kami masyado naligo...dito ko na feel na nasa Japan talaga ko. Half day lang kami sa Odaiba pero parang kulang na kulang yung oras namin, andami mapupuntahan dito at sa half day na yon andami namin di napuntahan.... Once pala nasa Japan ka na mismo ang hirap na sundin ng itinerary kasi grabe ang lakaran nakakapagod.

^super agree sis, almost 1 week na pero feel ko pa din yung sakit ng legs ko 
ang layo kasi ng pagitan ng link ng subway nila, kaya mega lakad talaga, then yung iba nga walang lift/escalator. Kaya mahirap din talaga masunod yung itinerary, kasi 1 place pa lang pagod na

Sis esor waiting for your blog na regarding your japan tour. Nakabook nako ng flight from cebu pacific on August 27-september 1 (6days), imagine 6,500 lang Cebu-Tokyo roundtrip. Plan namin to visit disney sea, USJ, kyoto, Mt. Fuji! Happy na kami... Kaya kaya?

@prettybarbie actually we plan lang to go to Divery City, Palette Town and see the rainbow bridge hehe. Feeling ko di masusunod yan pero at least lang sana meron kaming itinerary kesa sayang time namin pagdating dun to decide san kami punta.

I bet bitin stay namin. Sulitin nalang siguro multiple entry visa. Abang ng seat sale ulit! LOL.

I love Disney Sea....super enjoy! Mas maraming magagandang rides dito compared sa Tokyo Disneyland...

Sis um8mypinkcookies actually aside sa onsen yan lang din napuntahan namin sa Odaiba....photo op kay Gundam Robot, Pic sa Venus Fort Ferris Wheel, Pic sa Rainbow Bridge at Statue of Liberty... Hindi na namin napuntahan yung Fuji TV and kasama pa dapat sa itinerary namin yung mag dinner sa Maidreamin Cafe sa Diver City at maglaro sa Joypolis sa Decks, kaso talagang bitin ang oras....

Hopefully next time makabalik ulit kami ng Japan pero gusto ko sana sa Osaka naman.

sis esor nako ako din super puro blisters paa ko non, kahit nilagyan ko na ng band aid masakit pa din haha.... pero super enjoy naman.

Mura Uniqlo in Japan. I especially love the huge branch in Ginza yata yun. 5 or 7 floors! Ang saya-saya mag-ikot.. Even the smaller branches ng Uniqlo e ok din mamili. Muji din, ang mura, nag-hoard ako undies kasi naka-sale and ok sa akin ang quality ng undies nila.

Ah talaga? Magkano kaya average price nila sa shirts nila? How's the weather 2nd week of March? =)

^ forgot na how much, basta mura compared to SG or HK or PH prices..

We went ng 3rd week of March, minsan malamig sobra. Pero pag sunny, di naman ganun kalamig. Except sa gabi, gininaw talaga ako. That time, my usual get-up was Uniqlo heattech as undershirt, then my normal shirt/blouse. Then I have jacket and scarf na dala palagi. Pag naka-skirt/dress, I wore thermal leggings with it. Pag naka-jeans, minsan normal leggings lang underneath, minsan wala.

When we went to Fuji and Nikko, ayun super-lamig. I needed gloves, buti me dala din naman ako. And I needed another layer under my jacket (additional sweatshirt or cardigan). And I wore thermal leggings under my jeans.

@esor, sa tokyo yang sinasabi mo sis na sobrang lakaran ang kailangan? 9 days ang plano ko, gawin ko na siguro 11 days para may pahinga if pwede pa maipachange ang ticket. Hindi kasi ako masyado napagod sa osaka-kyoto pero relax mode lang lagi ang travel namin.

Was able to get a multiple visa in Japan kaya super happy

I was able to booked 2 rooms in Shinjuku Washington Hotel pero 7 kami. I'm still looking for a nice place kung saan malapit sa subway para hindi sana kami mahirapan,

^hi sissies, anyone here have tried skiing in japan? merong mga ski park near tokyo and we are thinking of doing this for the experience. december kame pupunta.

we are total beginners so do you think we will enjoy a day trip to a ski park? or mauubos lang kaya ang oras namen grasping the basics of skiing? we are planning to take lessons but we don't how hard skiing is so baka kulang pa yun to ski on beginners slopes.
