I was able to book tickets for the first week of March next year, I think it is still winter during that time. I can't wait to be back after being in love with this country last year! This time I want to see Nikko and Fuji. I hope doable pa din despite the freezing weather in those higher altitudes.

Sis, last year nasa Tokyo kami ng ganyang dates. Sakto kami sa full bloom ng sakura kaya super ganda gumala sa Ueno Park (esp sa gabi) and sa Shinjuku Gyoen (sakura overload!).

As for next year, check ka na lang lagi sa www.japan-guide.com kasi lagi sila me updates re sakura. Di pa kasi talaga masabi as of now kung kelan nagsa-start mag-bloom ang cherry blossoms kasi depende sa weather yan.

Any feedback on Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea?

Kami ni ni Boyfie, going back to Japan next year, first week of Feb. We're timing the trip with the Snow Festival in Sapporo. So from Tokyo, we'll take a domestic flight to Sapporo. We were considering taking the train para ma experience any Shinkansen but the one way fare is almost twice the price of a roundtrip airline ticket! And the train ride will take almost 9 hours...so sayang naman. Excite na kami!! Sayang nag kasi we bought our tickets via PAL, about 3 weeks before Cebu Pac offered their piso sale. Oh well...!:-)

We'll be going to Tokyo in October. Mukang pareho namin pupuntahan ang disneyland at disneysea. Malamig na ba ang october?

^sakto lang ang temperature ng october. just bring light jackets. pero sa disney resort it can be really cold especially at night kasi napapaligiran ng tubig.

Planning to go here in April as a treat to our child and to see the cherry blossoms. Hope Cebu Pac will offer piso fare for April na.

up to now undecided pa din ako kung pareho namin pupuntahan ang disney sea at disneyland, ilang beses na kami nakapunta sa HK Disneyland kaya iniisip ko na sa Disney Sea na lang kami pumunta. Any thoughts on this? Baka kasi pareho lang yung makita namin sa Disneyland...

^i've never been to hongkong disneyand. Disney sea markets more on adults. mas mature yung dating niya. since wala naman disney sea sa ibang bansa kung ako mamimili disney sea na lang. hahaha

2 adults and 1 kid.
Mla-Tokyo-Osaka-Mla

Day1: arrive Tokyo 11am - ikot sa tokyo kung san pwede (shibuya/shinjuku)
DAy2: Disneyland
Day3: Disney Sea - then bullet train to Osaka (i dont know if this is possible)
Day4: Universal
Day5: ikot ng Osaka (8pm flight back to mla)

syempre wala pa akong hotel... and ok ba kumuha ako ng JR pass?
pa-help na din ako sa estimated cost mga sisses..

Naka 2 beses na ako sa Sea kasi fave ko mga princesses! Disneyland isa lang feel ko kasi pambata.

Pwede naman yung mag shinkansen after sea pero baka mamiss niyo yung show, pero kung okay lang alis na lang kayo ng mga 7pm shinkansen kung nasa shin osaka ang hotel niyo.

Sis di mo kelangan ng jr pass 1 way ka lang naman pa osaka eh

Pag budget na wala munang shopping, 5k a day for transpo and decent food. Make it 3 k pag fastfood kayo.

20-25 k yen + 11 k disney pass + 7 k usj + shinkansen 14k yen per person
Then you're looking at least 6kpax for hotel, 3kpax for guesthouse per night.

Looking at 75k yen per person very negotiable pa ito

actually kasi para sa bata lang kaya puro theme parks...
sa tingin mo sis pwede na bang di puntahan ang usj? kasi nakapunta na naman kami sa uss. if ever punta na lang kami kyoto then osaka?
- sorry sis, kakabasa ko lang nung link mo sa previous post, mukhang kelangan din namin puntahan ang usj kasi different sya sa uss... hehe
so sis, yung transpo namin pagdating na lang dyan kami bibili ng train tickets? hindi na yung dito sa pinas?

sis, pa-recommend din ng hotel sa tokyo and osaka... hehe yung child friendly pero di naman masyadong mahal. hehe

^sis sayang punta niyo kung puro amusement parks lang. ilang taon na yung bata na kasama niyo?

tulad ng sabi ni sis mitch pili na lang kayo ng either disney or land. or iextend niyo stay niyo. hehe
yung itinerary niyo din iconsider mo bagahe niyo. since parang lagi kayong on the go.

^ 5yo sis, boy...
pano kaya namin maximize yung time? di naman kami masakay ng rides esp yung mga nakakatakot. sa mga nababasa ko kasi must-see ang sea kasi nga sa tokyo lang meron. pero gusto ko din makita ang land ng tokyo. hehe malaki ba difference nya sa hongkong?

sa luggage naman, plan ko early check-out na lang then iwan muna sa hotel yung luggage then balikan na lang.

btw, end sept yung trip namin, ano palang weather jan sis? hehe thanks!
