Feedback from my 3d2n Oct 04-06 travel.
Generally safe naman. (Even dun sa midnight deadline na they have to clear out the roads)

Went to MongKok, around 6pm. Madami pa naman din tao that shop. But the main road is closed nga. Madaming demonstrators pero simpleng rally lang nakita ko. Police were everywhere. Mas wild pa rally dito saten. Didnt bother to go to Admiralty or Causewaybay. :-)

DL and OP super dami tao.

Weather, same sa PI.

Went there last Feb, yung favorite wafer and chocolates na pasalubong ko na nabibili ko lang sa International na grocery, nagmahal ng mga 1HKD. hehe. :-)

May international marathon pa ata nung Sunday. Sa may Tung Chung yung end, mukhang safe naman kasi nag marathon pa sila dun. (Nadaanan ko lang from my wholeday Citygate outlet "me" time.)

Hi HK experts, Kindly help me plan our family's itinerary for December, we are consist of 4 adults and 2 kids (7 and 3) my son will be having his 7th bday on dec 7 and he wanted to celebrate it sa disneyland.. here are the details:

HongKong
December 5, 2014 (friday) 10:10am
arrival time in HK : 12:20

December 8, 2014 (monday) 18:00 HKIA arrival in manila at 20:10

Accomodation: apartment
address: 31 Jordan Road, HongKong Kowloon
(near jordan mtr and nathan hotel daw?)

December 5: AOS.. or the peak at night ( I bought our tickets online via GC) get tickets at Golden crown. is this near jordan? can we check in first before heading to GC or is it better to go there directly then check in to apartment?,

December 6: Ocean Park, peak at night
December 7: Disneyland
December 8: Ngong Ping 360, Ngong Ping Village and Giant Buddha

Please advise sample routes narin po for transpo.. we plan to bring two strollers for our 2 kids.. Thanks in advance

^what is AOS?... Jordan is in Kowloon side while Ocean Park is in Hong Kong island, but easily accessible by MTR. From Jordan take the MTR going to admiralty exit B (2 stops) then from admiralty you can take the bus 629 to Ocean Park.

Hello mga sis! I'm back from our HK trip last week. Kaloka sumakto talaga sa protests! Had to scrap The Peak from our itinerary. Nag Sky100 na lang kami. Sumakto pa sa holiday nila so ang dami tao. Stay away from Admiralty and Mong Kok area. On our last day, the protest is building up on Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. Super init last week.

temple drive night market. there are also alot of restaurants in the area. You can walk thru nathan drive dami stores. cotton on, giordano, h&m esprit etc etc.

Question mga sis.
I read nilipat ang terminal ng Bus 629 to OP sa Tin Hau dahil asa Admiralty mga protesters.
We're staying in Jordan, pag MTR, hindi ba kame makaka-interchange from red line to blue line via Admiralty? Ibig sabihin ba iikot kame - MTR green line, purple then blue line?

May nilabas na advisory ang Philippine Consulate sa Hong kong na pinakikiusapan ang mag pilipino na iwasan ang mga lugar ng protesta gaya ng Causeway Bay, Central, Admiralty, Wanchai, Mongkok, Tim Mei Avenue, Lung Wui Road

Huhu. Mga sis, may ma-a-advise ba kayo kung saan pwede mag-book? Sa January pa naman kami pero parang ayoko hintayin na humupa dahil baka maubusan kami ng rooms.

Hindi afford ang Disneyland Hollywood Hotel... Haha!

sis prettybarbie, may mga protests pa rin sa Mongkok and Central area? We will be there Monday na. Dami nagtatanong sa amin if tuloy kami dahil daw sa gulo.

oo meron pa din.... marami sa Admiralty and Mong kok meron din sa Causeway Bay... Pero kung sa Disney ang punta nyo at Ocean Park, okay naman....as a matter of fact nasa Ocean Park ngayon yung friend ko nag ce-celebrate ng birthday nya  ..... Iwas na lang sa admiralty and mong kok area.... bukas naman ang mga MTR pero OA sa dami ng tao.

Tanong ko na rin po dito... saan ba pwede sumakay ng ferry papuntang Macau from HK kapag gabi na... Let's say 9:30-10PM. Meron pa po ba?
