ano pa bang ibang puntahan sa HK other than Disney, Ocean park, The Peak,, 3rd time ko na kasi pupunta, going to Disney for my Son's 2nd bday. We are staying for 4 days hindi ko na alam san pa puwede pumunta na okay sa bata.

hi mga sis! we are going to hk this coming july 20-24. super tight ng sched kasi afternoon flight kami papunta dun then early morning naman ang flight pabalik ng manila. this is my 2nd time pero super excited pa din ako. hehe. we will arrive in hk at around 6:40pm then deretso na sa hostel (we booked at USA hotel in tst), my question is, anong activity ang pwedeng gawin from 8pm onwards or meron pa bang tourist spot na pwede pang puntahan para hindi masayang yung day 1?

eto yung IT na ginawa ko:

Jul 20 - arrival in hk at 6:40 pm (no plans yet on what to do)
Jul 21 - ngong ping & DL
Jul 22 - the peak, shopping at causeway bay, avenue of the stars
Jul 23 - Ocean park (no plans yet after OP. hindi din kami papaabot ng late kasi hindi din mahilig sa extreme rides mga kasama ko hehe)
Jul 24 - back to manila

question ko lang, ano dapat suotin pag november pumunta ng hk? yung last na nakapunta ako last week ng october pero hindi pa ganoon kalamig. naka sched kasi kame ng nov.13 arrival. mga nasa ilang degrees kaya? so we know what to pack. hassle kasi to bring clothes na hindi naman magagamit.

Based on my experience last time I went ng November (2009), malamig na siguro mala Baguio or Tagaytay ng December. Kasi I remember I didn't anticipate ng cold weather at naglayering talaga ako w matching knitted scarf (at nagmukang lola talaga ako haha) at bumili pa ako ng earmuff. Di pa naman winter clothing ang need, more of autumn fashion like sweaters, scarf, boots and tights.

Pwede nyo naman icheck ang weather one-two weeks before your flight I always rely on accuweather.com

@sis ezoneme try checking yung sinasabing big wave beach. Ako susubukan ko sya puntahan sa July trip ko. Sabi it's their best beach (white sand daw?). Yun nga lang you have to hike for 90min. Try nyo din also yung 10,000 Buddhas

^ naku sis mahaba habang hike yan hehe 2 years old pa lang baby ko then. Sa september ba mainit? punta kaming sept. 17-20

@ubengbaka thanks sis. my kind of weather pala. ayaw ko kasi ng sobrang lamig. kung parang tagaytay or baguio ang sarap maglakad lakad non kasi hindi ka papawisan. plus i don't want to buy winter clothes dahil hindi ko naman magagamit iyon dito.

@ezonme mainit pa sa hongkong ng september. hindi kasing init dito sa atin pero mainit during the day kasi nagpunta kame last week october mainit pa. so kung pupunta ka wear clothes that you would wear dito sa phils, bring cardigans kasi sa gabi and sa loob ng malls malamig. but not too cold na kailangan ng thick jackets.

last year nandoon kami ng mismong Autumn Festival. open naman mga stores and may naabutan pa nga kami na may nag fireworks and madaming tao sa parks na may mga hawak na colorful lights.

sa Disney naman sis, madami talagang tao kahit hindi holiday  pero sa naexperience namin na pinakamarami was during Holy Week.

All you have to BRING are passport, round trip ticket and hotel booking. Bringing of COE stated that your company allows you to leave for a certain number of days with company ID is only applicable to those people who are currently working and not self-employed. But you only have to show it to immigration if they ask you.

^magdala ka na rin ng COE para sure. are you going to travel by group like whole family? yung first trip ko sa hk with my ex itenerary ng fligt, booking ng hotel and passport lang hiningi samin pero may dala kame COE, nbi, at bank statement just in case hingiin. nung second time i'm with my son and sis same lang din flight itenerary, hotel booking and passport. pero dala ko pa rin mga papers i mentioned above.

sa hongkong immigration doon medyo mahigpit. may mga tanong sila and hindi masyado magaling mag english yung iba and mahirap ipaulit yung sinasabi nagagalit sila. yun ay based sa nakikita ko habang nakapila. if travelling alone doon ata mas madaming tanong. yung mga groups and family hindi gaano.

Thanks sis. I'm traveling with my family, hubby and 4-year old daughter. Better to bring COE na lang. My husband will bring naman travel authority letter signed by the Mayor since his a government employee. Kasi yung friend ko government employee yung husband niya. Hindi sila pinayagan magtravel sa Malaysia dahil walang naipakita na travel authority letter. Forfeited yung ticket nila.
