kinda worried on our trip next week (M-W), si bagyong hagupit naman kasi  sana naman wag mag-cancel ng flight at wag rin maulan...

Our flight tomorrow was cancelled because of Thypoon Ruby. Worse thing yung canceled flight lang ang free rebooking yung pabalik nagbayad pa kami.:-(
Since it was rebooked ang pangit na ng schedule ng arrival namin from Manila to Kalibo. Our arrival time will be at 6:05 pm and I am expecting na it will be an hour delayed.
Questions:

1. Mga sis may boat transfer ba ng 9pm onwards from Caticlan to Boracay?
We don't want to spent our night in Kalibo and lalo na sa port.

2. May alam ba kayo mga sis na private van na we van hire (good price) kasi faster kung private van. We are 6 pax. I prefer DIY. This will be my 3rd time to visit Boracay and DIY is better and cheaper.

Buti nalang yung hotel namin okay sila for rebooking with no extra charges. Medyo kainis nga lang canceled flight nagbayad pa for rebooking pabalik. TIA sa answers mga sis. 😃

our trip got cancelled too. mejo malabo lang AirAsia kasi at first isa lang option nila, which is rebook, limited travel dates. ngayon may announcement na pwede na refund.

infernes to Agoda, i emailed them about the super typhoon at kahit non-rebookable ang hotel, they emailed the hotel for us, in case they can give special consideration. ambilis magreply kesa sa AirAsia.

Went to Cebu Pacific early this morning to rebook our flight tomorrow going to Caticlan. Eto yung announcement sa website nila:

Passengers travelling from December 5 to 8, 2014 on other Cebu Pacific flights (domestic and international) may also avail of the following options without additional charges, until December 12, 2014:

• Rebooking for travel within 7 days from original departure date;

• Full refund or travel fund

Called Ate Josie of Casa Fiesta, pumayag din syang i rebook yung accommodation namin. Boracay Uptown na lang ang di namin naayos, close yung Makati Sales Office nila at stranded sa Iloilo yung manager ng Boracay office nila.

^ actually sis, option nila yun since December 5 for all flights (local & international) na di pa nagca-cancel. pero pag cancelled flights talaga, 30 days yung option

Our trip was December 2-5. First time ko rito and I thank God walang aberya.

Airasia kami and super okay wala rin akong masabi 

TRANSFERS: I bought tickets sa plane na inooffer ng mga flight attendants from Southwest Tours para sure kasi late arrival na kami. I was worried na baka wala nang boat to Boracay at 12mn. Door-to-door transfer PHP1,050 for two ALL IN na including terminal and env'tal fee, bus and boat ride to Bora, and then shuttle papunta sa hotel. Pabalik from Bora to Kalibo naman nag DIY na lang kami since 7am marami nang available vans/boats.

HOTEL: I booked with John’s Apartelle since sya yung pinakamurang nakita ko sa Agoda na okay naman ang reviews. Hindi naman kami choosy sa place and we don’t mind having to walk a few minutes to the beach. Sa likod lang sya ng DMall, sa taas ng Sheng’s Salon and super okay kasi may restaurant sa tabi ng salon na malinis and mura pa. Meal for two is around PHP130 with extra rice na and softdrinks. EPIC bar employees eat there as well. I got it for PHP800/night. The owner is kind and accommodating. She gave a discount on our first night from PHP800 to PHP600 since it’s late arrival already. The room was clean and nice naman, malakas aircon, maluwag with a balcony but the toilet is small pero okay na rin working naman ang flush and the shower. With 2 towels, soap and 2 shampoos na.
SMOKE RESTO: We ordered sizzling burger steak and beef salpicao for BF kasi may hangover pa sya sa beef salpicao ng carinderia sa loob ng Terminal 4, sarap eh. Nothing special sa burger steak nila and yung beef salpicao, masarap sya pero too much garlic na nagpaalat ng very light. Our bill was PHP300+.
JONAH’s: Overrated. Ordered banana peanut choco shake and banana mango shake. PHP120 each. Wala namang special sa mga ito and yung mango ang asim pa. We then tried Fruita’s banana mango shake para macompare lang and Fruitas’ is way better than Jonah’s.

Okay naman yung vacation namin hindi naman nag ulan. Ambon ambon lang na nawawala rin agad. Suuuuupper ganda ng sunset. Nakakainlove. Gusto ko nang balikan to every year.  Mas prefer ko pa rin Station 2 kasi malapit sa lahat and maganda yung beach dito parang malaking swimming pool.  Sa Station 3 naman ang daming tao.

Ayoko lang twing gabi yung mga naglilipana na ‘alam nyo na’. Activities namin, we went to Puka Beach (from DMall PHP100 for 2) and Mount Luho by trike lang, di na kami nag ATV/Buggy ride to Mt. Luho kasi nanghihinayang kami sa PHP1k/head! Hahaha kuripot mode! Pang island hopping na rin yun ha! PHP250 lang nagastos namin sa trike service from Dream Land to Mt. Luho tapos back to DMall. Next time naman yung ibang activities tutal beach pa lang, panalo na! 

Mga bars naman, bucket of 6 beers PHP300-350. Pwede na. Sarap lang tumambay sa sands habang may tumutugtog ng acoustic.  Buti na lang mura rito ang mga t-shirts PHP180 for 2 shirts na, may nabili kami sa Station 3 2 for PHP150 naman.

Since AirAsia kayo, saan yung terminal niya dito sa Manila? They said it's the old domestic terminal daw but I just want to be sure. Nasanay na ko sa Terminal 3 kasi eh.

Our flight is yung unang flight ng AirAsia pa-Kalibo coming from Manila.

^Air Asia uses Terminal 4 (old domestic airport) for both domestic/international flights.

flights cancelled na naman kami kahapon, ang masaklap nasa terminal na kami and waiting for boarding... all but one flight lang going to caticlan ang natuloy, the rest cancelled including ours. medyo nahirapan kami magpa-rebook sa casa fiesta at boracay uptown but after lot of communications, naayos rin schedule namin. this time, i'll commend boracay uptown, super naging okay communication namin with them. super okay din magpa-rebook sa southwest, no questions asked and offer pa help in case we need assistance.

hayz, sana matuloy na yung new flight schedule namin.

i have to commend Alta Vista for their consideration during the typhoon. kahit i booked via Agoda (where rebooking and cancellation is not allowed in Flash Deals), the hotel gave a special consideration and rebooked our stay in January. the January rate is actually 2,000 pricier but they grant this to us without additional cost.. our group is so thankful!

wwooowww finally natapos na ren mag backread ayusin na lang mga draft and ready na to fix ang final IT ng Boracay... meron na kameng idea sa place since we went here nung 2008

baka sa Villa Simprosa na lang den kame ulit mag sstay 2K/night dito den naman kame nag stay nuon kaya ok na ok ang location (tipid mode eh haha) sayang den pwedeng ma-save pang activities and pang kain na den. sa last night na lang kame babawi sa Boracay Regency...

mga sissy's baka meron senyo na ppunta this March 23-27, 2015?? para pwedeng makashare sa activities hehe

- mag kano na ngayon ang helmet diving??

- mahigpit bas a Boracay Regency? Kasi 2 adults tapos 11yrs old na bata??

- paano kung Puka Beach lang ang gusto kong puntahan, pwede ba un? Yung Puka Beach ba kasama yun sa Island Hopping Activities? Ano pa pwedeng makasama sa IHA?? Ayoko na kasi mag Snorkeling kasi parati namen nagagawa sa Puerto Galera

however my parents and my sister and brother in law will be joining
I was just wondering if you can suggest accommodation na suite type I meaning separate rooms but sharing kitchen or one area pa rin, most blogs ans suggestions and pics I saw kasi ay dorm type na multiple beds or double-deck
I hope you can suggest one and of course not too pricey, cheapest to average lang
