Accommodation - Orchids Resort in Station 3
Land & Boat Transfers - Southwest Travel (975/person round trip door-to-door)
Water Activities - Kuya Niño (09158722855). Bigay niya sa min sa island hopping P1,500 for 3 hours para sa buong group na 'yun; parasailing P850/person; flyfish P480/person; helmet dive P300/person; banana boat P200/person. Pero syempre tatawaran ko pa If meron kayong kakilala na mas mura and okay din ang service, let me know.

Food - What can you suggest? 'Yung hindi masyadong mahal pero okay naman. Ang nasa itinerary ko kasi 2 breakfast, 3 lunch, 3 meryenda and 3 dinner. Gusto ko sana yung food experience namin eh mix of yung mga sikat na and yung mga medyo undiscovered kasi I also want to try new restos.

We'll definitely visit Smoke Resto, Jonah's Milkshake, Sunny Side Cafe, and Red Pirates Pub.

Hi Everyone! My family and I are planning to go to Boracay this coming March and was quoted 93,800 inclusive of airfare and hotel accomodation for 4 day and 3 nights. Okay ba yung rates or too expensive? We will be staying at TwoSeasons Hotel family with pool access and free breakfast. Peak season daw kaya nasa 19,5k per night yung hotel.

mas mura ang fare if you do commute from kalibo. van ride is 150 pesos each, boat ride is 25 pesos each, tricycle from port to boracay station 1,2,3 is 25 each.


if boat plus van meron 200 pesos each. Pero mas mura pa rin if separate bayad sa van and boat kasi 175 each lang yun.

Fully booked na ang Tans guesthouse for our Dec trip, any suggestions for family room sana good for 10 pax including kids?? Okey lang kahit hindi beach front, this time kasi i want to try water activities since marami kami the last time we went there island hopping lang ginawa namin.

Meron ba kayong alam na boracay transfer from kalibo to resort na mismo na door to door roud trip aside from southwest? like van transfer, boat transfer and land transfer na sa island mismo. with fees na rin. mas mabilis daw kasi pag van kesa sa bus. bale 6 adults kami and may kasamang 1 infant and 3 kids (ages 3-5).

tsaka mga kung may alam din po kayo sa mga tours and activities na mura maningil and safe din naman po.

bale sa station 1 po ang titirhan namin near La Fiesta. Thank you po sa inyong lahat!

We made a reservation at boracay regency for our january trip a few days ago. Kaya lang we received an email today na fully booked na sila...  Im considering the 2 hennan resorts and boracay uptown... Anyone here who has been to these hotels? It's going to be our first time in boracay so wala akong masyadong idea sa mga good hotels. Also very limited lang ang budget namin. So we are hoping to find an affordable hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, in a good location and with swimming pool. Any suggestions mga sis? Thank you in advance

Saang hotel pwede mag day tour? Use of swimming pool lang naman ang hanap ko. Our accommodation kasi wala at Holiday Homes de Boracay. Got a family room for 8pax for only P6k this Dec.

Just got back from Boracay! Spent the weekend there with the family!

AIRLINE:
AirAsia - wala akong masabing masama, overall ayos ang experience namin dito Hindi delayed ang flights to and fro MNL.

WEATHER:
Friday - ganda ng araw hanggang sa umulan na ng bandang 6pm. Paulan ulan na siya magdamag.
Saturday - Makulimlim maghapon tapos lakas ng ulan sa tanghali at gabi.
Sunday - Makulimlim ng umaga tapos umaraw na from tanghali hanggang hapon.
Nagsabay si bagyong Queenie and 'yong LPA. Pero kahit medyo maulan, ang ganda pa rin!

LAND AND BOAT TRANSFERS:
Southwest Tours - kinuha namin 'yung door to door nila P990/head. Jusko!! Sana nag-DIY na lang kami. Ang tagal tagal ng bangka kasi iisa lang ang bangka nila to and from Boracay island. Mas na-stress kami sa paghihintay nung bangka. Kinuha ko siya kasi supposed to be relaxed na lang kami and all bilang kasama ko ang parents ko eh ang tagal tagal ng mga kaganapan :/ Nakakainis pa kasi nakikita ko yung mga nag-DIY na nauuna pa sa min. LOL. Kaya sabi ko talaga sa sarili ko mainam pa na hindi na kami kumuha ng package.

ACCOMODATION:
Orchids Resort, Station 3 - Cottage type resort 2 minutes away from the beach. Murang mura! P1,500/night ang isang room na good for 3 pax. Aircon na tapos malinis and okay ang CR (with heater and exhaust fan). Wala nga lang compli breakfast pero unlimited coffee and tea naman. Wala ring free Wi-Fi (Php50/day) pero mabilis naman siya.

For people who are on a budget tong resort na to, pero hindi naman na-sacrifice ang service and convenience. Well managed naman siya. Favorite ng mga Caucasian backpackers. Medyo malamok nga lang dahil sa garden nila. Gusto ko din 'yung location niya. Hindi siya beachfront, kaya hindi kami tinaga sa presyo. Pero sobrang lapit lang sa beach. Ang ginawa namin, bumili kami ng drinks sa may Shantal's Restobar (eto ang beachfront) tapos nagamit na namin yung beach loungers nila for free! Happy hour nila eh from 2pm to 8pm, SMB P35 lang isang bote!

THOUGHTS ON STATION 3:
Last 2012, sa Sur sa Station 1 kami nag-stay. Nagustuhan ko 'yung resort pero para kakong ang daming tao eh hindi pa peak season noon (late September). Nitong huli, sobrang naguluhan ako kung saan kami mag-stay - sa Station 1 ba kasi pinaka-okay daw ang beach yadayada pero mahal (libre ko kasi tong trip na to sa family ko) or sa Station 3 pero pangit daw ang beach. Station 2 is out of the question kasi doon talaga bonggang bongga ang tao.

So syempre nagwagi ang kuripot side ko and gumora kami sa Station 3 kahit may agam agam nga. And best decision ever!! Sa banda ng resort namin (Marzon, Arwana Hotel, Angol Point Beach Resort, Villa Caemilla area) eh maganda ang beach at tahimik!! Tapos gaya nga ng sabi ko kanina, order lang kami sa Shantal's resto eh free use of beach loungers na! Natuwa kami sa desisyon na ito haha. Si bf din natuwa to see this side of station 3 kasi against talaga siya na dito kami mag-stay bilang noong 2008 nag-stay siya sa may bandang Andok's station 3 at napangitan daw siya. It was good to see this other side of Boracay! Sabi ko kasi dati I won't go back na since ang daming tao (station 1 ang reference ko).

Anyway, mas tahimik nga dito at mas nakakapaglaro ang mga bata kasi maluwag din ang shore and mas konti ang tao. Tapos marami ring mga kainan! Different cuisines ganyan! May mura tapos meron ding mga fine dining.

Bird Boy watching galore ako!! Haha. Ang daming hot foreigners dito sa area na 'to please. Busog lusog ang aking mga mata. Ay. HAHA. Just had to say that.

If you feel na masyado nang malayo 'to sa mga party scenes ganyan, maraming tricycle! P10 lang per person if makiki-share ka sa iba tapos P60 naman from Station 3 to D'mall if buong tryk sa 'yo. Murang mura na! Kung lalakarin naman, medyo malayo. Mga 30 minutes siguro.

FOOD:
Daming choices sa Boracay! Hindi ka talaga mawawalan ng mapagpipilian. Ako ang choices ko eh 'yung mga hindi masyadong sikat (by accident lang nadiskubre) and 'yung mga matunog sa internet. Mix baga.
1. Casa Pilar, Station 3 - natagpuan by accident. Filipino food. Keribels na. Patok na sa panlasang Pinoy. ~250-300/dish.
2. Crown Regency Seafood buffet, Station 3 - by accident din. Keribels na rin 'yung P400 per person kasi with bottomless iced tea naman. Meron pang live band and fire dancers so tuwang tuwa ang mga magulang. Para daw may "combo." Haha. Hataw kami sa crabs and isda nila. Medyo nalugi sila sa amin haha. Iba iba ang buffet nila every night, basta Friday ay seafood buffet.
3. Smoke Resto, D'Mall - eto talaga sinuyod ko ang D'Mall para lang ma-try 'to bilang sikat na sikat sila sa internet. Medyo ghetto 'yung lugar kasi maliit lang and maiinit pero sulit ang food!! Mura pa! ~160/dish. Deserves all the raves, I think, if pagbabasehan 'yung price point and dami ng serving.
4. Nagisa Japanese Cafe, Station 3 - masarap din! Gusto ko 'yung wide range of cuisines kasi may Japanese, Filipino and American. Eh tatay ko mahilig sa Japanese tapos ako hindi, kaya um-order din ako ng pansit haha. Masarap! May kamahalan 'yung sashimi P200 5 slices pero masarap naman daw. Masarap din 'yung burger nila and sulit! From P100-P250 per item.
5. Sunny Side Cafe, Station 3 - eto isa pang sikat sa internet. Cute nung interiors! Medyo mahal siya pero daming serving! Masarap din naman siya. Yung rice meals nila from P250 to P350. Yung pancakes nila masarap!! Tapos ang lalaki pa Sulit na sulit. Masarap din ang shakes nila! Pero 'yung mga coffee hindi masyado, normal lang.
6. Aria, D'Mall - eto sikat din. Mahalia! Okay lang din 'yung food, nothing special. P380-P550 per item. Maraming mas masarap dito na mas mura. Tapos medyo maingay pa bilang bungad siya ng D'Mall.

WATER ACTIVITIES:
Kuya Nino - mura talaga ang bigay ni kuya, kaya lang na-sense ko na mukha na talaga siyang pera. Actually lahat silang coordinators may ganong vibe. Sa station 3 may isang area doon na lahat ng coordinators may tent. Pwede na kayong directly magtanong para may comparison kayo ng price.

Bigay sa 'min ni kuya Nino P900 parasailing, P600 fly fish (from P480 na tinext niya last month!! OA ng taas) tapos P1500 for buong group yung island hopping without lunch. Keribels naman 'yung corals sa coral garden.

For the paraw sailing, sa Red Pirates Pub (station 3) kami kumuha. P800 per hour lang for the whole group na 'yun. Merong nag-offer sa 'min ng P800 for 30 minutes doon sa tapat ng D'Mall. Naloka ako. Anyway, very smooth 'yung sailing namin with Red Pirates. Walang naging problema Via FB kami nag-usap noong manager nito.

So! Overall, stress drilon ako ng very light sa pag-organize nito because I wanted my parents to enjoy the place and iniwasan ko talaga magka-aberya. Pero hindi talaga maiiwasan Best decision namin 'yung pag-stay sa Station 3 and I think we also made good food choices. If ever babalik ako:

1. Stay ako sa station 3, same area. Check ko si Dave's Straw Hat Inn.
2. Hindi na ko kukuha ng activites kay kuya Nino, baka direct na lang ako sa organizers or titingin ng ibang coordinator.
3. Mag-DIY na lang sa land/sea transfers OR check Caticlan seat sales bilang ang mahal din ng transfers to and from Kalibo!

Station 1 is wide and quiet. Perfect for those who want to relax. Sand seems finer pero sobrang mabato yung shore! As in aray! If it was high tide, di kaya to stay long.

Station 2 is perfect for those who want convenience since it's near everything. 1 ft width lang bato sa shore and there are fishes to play with haha! I don't mind the people outside since it's pretty quiet in the hotel.

Station 3 we didn't like at all. Dami tao masyado morning pa lang yun. The beach is dirty kadiri na sa shore lang kami.  The crowd is not that good. When we go back, this is out of the list.


Southwest transfer kami going to the island and we enjoyed it. Very accommodating, ok yung vans then the boat we used was super cool! As in yung aircon na mabilis. Mura pa kasi airline nag offer via flight attendant. Eto din sana going back kaso gusto nila punta pa office that is far and the place looked shady at night.
We ended up getting return transfer from the hotel at amazing din ang vehicles plus the assistance.
