Boracay Thread 35

Nag lock na yung Thread 34 so I created a new one. Will be in Boracay on July. I am planning to book accommodation upon arrival. May mga nakita na ako sa net like villa simprosa, villa criselda, boracay tourist inn. Mejo worried lang ako kasi 5 kami so I am not sure if the rooms can fit 5 people.

Budget travel with friends yung trip, so my question is saan ang mga cheap restaurants in Boracay. And recommended places to eat dinner and maybe snacks. Like meron bang 100-150 up to 200 / meal dun? Thanks!

^ yes sis madaming murang kainan dun. may Mang Inasal, Andoks, mga ganung klase. meron din yung mga "si-log" type of meals for your breakfast. may mga mahal na restos pero madami din mura =)

Sis, may mga fast food like mcdo, andoks, mang inasal, etc. Mas ok if you go to D' Talipapa, paluto ng seafood. Malaki na yun 200 pesos each dun.

^^^Sa Villa Simprosa sana namin gusto magstay pero walang vacant rooms last month. We ended up in Starfire Resort sa Station 3. Spacious yung room kasi may 3 beds. Kasya kami (5 adults and 1 child) tapos we asked them to provide a mattress pa. May ref and tv sa room. Ang downside lang is ang layong lakaran to Stations 1 and 2. Pag tinamad kami maglakad papunta sa D Mall, nagtrike kami.

Hi po mga sis. I'm planning to bring our family next year to Boracay. So we are 7 in the group, my parents and the five children (including me). Siguro mga between October to November. Since medyo strict ang budget, ask ko lang po kung saan puwede magstay for like 3 days siguro. Ang naresearch ko po mas mura sa station 3. Kung pwede din po na magrefer po kayo ng someone to make a quotation for us during our stay. Siguro one family room lang and we can just ask for extra beds. Ok lang naman magtabi-tabi. Also kung puwede na may mini kitchen so we can cook our food.

hello po we'll be in boracay by september... san po un booking office ng southwest tours sa boracay?
papunta kase via caticlan kame diy na lang kame papunta hotel un pauwe kame via kalibo kaya need to book via southwest. may nabasa po kase ko na pag online mas mahal kesa directly ka magbook sa southwest.

Planning to spend our anniversary at Boracay 2 months from now. Still not decided which accommodation to book so I'm still researching and doing comparisons.

Haven't gone to boracay in awhile. Considering if I should go back there this year or go somewhere much quieter, much less commercialized. It's overdeveloped, overpopulated, magulo at madumi na (you should have seen it a quarter century ago sighs), but I'd like to see it again sometime before it totally loses its charm. Let's see.

^madaming tao and medyo madumi when we went there last month. some people would leave their plastic cups, bottles and plastic bags so pag naabot ng water, lulutang. pasimple akong namulot ng basura.  dapat talaga may naglilinis all the time kasi hindi maiiwasan na madaming kalat dahil yung iba walang pakialam. we'd go back after 2-3 years pa. hopefully, okay pa rin by then.

Anyone here who have already stayed at Zuzuni Boutique Hotel?

^ Tumblrista, we tried staying at Zuzuni. We love how small the place is and it's also super awesome how they have this quaint little bar below where you can chill or order drinks. I love the location - perfect for people watching (haha!) suppose you're into that kinda thing! Aside from Zuzuni, our other favorites are the following:
* Patio Pacific (which is like right at the back of Zuzuni lang)
* La Reserve Boracay (which also has a bar in front! so into these places with bars, teehee!)
* Island Nook Hotel Boracay
* White House Boracay

When it's trips with the family where I need not spend a dime, top choices would be:
* Shangri-La's Boracay Resort & Spa
* Discovery Shores Boracay
* The District Boracay

Pleasure's all mine! And by the way, when in Boracay, you can surprise ur guy with a sandcastle that will show the date of your anniversary. Cliche as  it may seem, it's a Boracay tradition of sorts!

Meron bang activities sa Boracay na kailngan nakashoes, like rubber shoes or closed shoes?

Plan ko kasi sana slippers na lang ako for the whole trip. Kaso baka kung di ako magdala ng shoes, then may activity pala na required yun eh sayang naman.

^ sis, i think kelangan nito if ever mag-ATV ka. I guess pwede din mag flipflops dun. Other than that, di need magdala ng closed shoes. Pampabigat pa yun hehe

Sis entwife, wala naman sis. Yung ibang naka ATV naka slippers lang. Pero ako laging may dalang shoes kasi I need to attend worship service. Other than that, pwedeng slippers all the way na

^ True that. Nahirapan nga ako mag isip kung kailan kelanga ng closed shoes. Kasi lahat ng weddings in Boracay that I went to, lagi naman akong naka flip flops or sandals.
