I miss PP big time it was last 5yrs ago when me and hubby went there, medyo mahirap ang byahe kaya advisable no kids lalo na sa mga underground at honda bay mas ok siya barkada or couples. Bago pumunta ng honda bay nag stop over kami at I was able to fresh from the tree tamilok live and kicking binabad lang sa calamansi at asin.

hi mga sis, its been a while since my last post.. i just want to share our PPS vacation, we just got back today.. I DIYed everything..
I contacted someone in PPS to apply the permit for us ahead so we could head straight to PPUR upon arrival.. its a good thing that our flight was not delayed.. day 2, honda bay island hopping,  3rd day morning city tour.. then back to manila..

We went here last Oct 6-7, more on food trip kami dito sa PP, since we came from El Nido trip

food trip:
1. Balinsasayaw - affordable, may mga budget meals sila and masarap din yung food
2. Ugong Rock Grill - tried crocodile sisig, masarap pala to
3. KaLui - the best talaga dito, super busog kami

we stayed in Palawan Uno Hotel
room rate is 1,418php per night for 2 pax
with buffet breakfast and airport transfer (vv)
spacious yung room, sa baba nung hotel may bilihan na din ng souvenirs, halos same na din nung dun sa tiange yung price.

ang dami din nag ooffer ng murang tour, like 1,200 for UGR tour.
600 sa city tour via tryke for 4 pax na.

Nag city tour lang kami before our flight back to Manila, went to crocodile farm, baker's hill, souvenir tiange shop, cathedral and plaza kuartel.

hi sis, yung van na nag service samin sa PPUR sya na din ang kinuha namin na van for our honda bay 7pax kasi kame so medyo talo kapag nag commute or trike.. kung 4-5 kayo pwede na kayo mag hire na lang ng trike they say before daw its only 600php for drop off and pick up... I suggest going there very early like 6am especially if you are going on a week end..
when we areived at the wharf, I registered our names and then pay tobthe cashier the boat rental fee php 1,520.00 for 7pax, they will note the boat's name on your receipt.. after that I paid the environmental fee 40/each + php15.. then wait for until your boat is called for boarding..
you will have to pay for an entrance fee on every island that you will visit.. we visit almost all.. luli island 60/pax, starfish island 50/pax, pandan island 100/pax (which in my opinion is overated and overnpriced) but the view and the beach is great, lastly cowrie 75/pax, this is where we had our lunch buffet for 200/pax then I paid 2 employees meal for the boatmen.. you have the option to pay the lunch buffet at the wharf or on the island.. I suggest you just pay when you get there na lang so you could have an option to eat at pandan island, they have fresh seafoods there na pwede paluto but the price isn't that cheap anymore.. alimasag is 250/kilo + the paluto, alupihang dagat is 650/kilo, bamboo lobsters 800/kilo.. butbf you opted for the lunch buffet at cowrie you'll have to be there before 1pm otherwise kung ano na lang ang natira sa buffet table yun na lang ang food nyo.. buffet time is 11-2pm.. we arrived there 12:30, we missed the fried chicken at coffee jelly..
another thing, cowrie island is not for snorkeling, just swimming and beach bumming..
I really wanted to visit pambato reef its a wharf in the middle of the sea, the boatmen said that its closed for sanctuary and rehabilitation, but when I asked them that I wanted us to passed by the wharf so I could take pictures of the pawikan roofed wharf, there are foreign tourists that are getting ready to snorkel the place.. I was so annoyed because our boat is already far from the place, and we can't double back because we are running a little late for the other islands.. and we have to catch up for our prepaid lunch buffet..

punta kami ng honda bay ng Friday sana wala pa masyado tao nun. that would be our 3rd day in PP. id like to have a paluto style lunch but thats not cost effective. better to get the 200/pax buffet at cowrie and be there before 11:30am.

@hyder0926 When we did our Honda Bay Tour, DIY lang and 4 lang din kami sa boat although its capacity is for 20 people. So I think you can do it too.

yes sis, sainyo lang yung boat probably yung mas maliit na boat lang ang iaassign sainyo about 1,300 siguro ang prce mas makakatipid kayo.

sis, i think much better kung sila na lang ang maging joiner sa group tour.. usually 1,500/pax ang rate ng tours.. hindi rin kasi sila makakatipid dahil 2 lang sila..
ppur- boat rental 800, permit 225, environmenral fee 40, food 200
honda bay- boat rental 1,300, environmental fee 40, + entrance to every island (back read ka na lang sa rates), food 200
idadagdag mo pa yung transpo round trip at travel time kung commute.. sa PPUR, they need to secure the permits first bago sila magproceed sa sabang.. plus may mga side expenses pa yun.

Had our PP trip last Oct 13-16.  We're just 3.  Me, my husband and my 3yo daughter.  I paid 5k/pax sa kausap namin.  Total 10k.  My toddler is free of charge.  Inclusive of hotel, UGR tour, honda bay and city tour na.  airport transfer and lunch included na din.  So dinner lang ang additional gastos. 

Total gastos ko is 17k.
