Finally, nakakuha na rin ng tao na willing mag process ng permit namin for UG. We will be renting our van from them, they will help us to process our permit. Nilibre na rin nila ang trip namin for Ugong rock. So excited. 

Here's our itinerary and expected expenses for 8Adults and 1 child (4yo)

Do I have the  updated rates for Honday Bay? Paki check naman mga sisses. Ang wala nalang sa budget ay  3 breakfast, 1 Lunch and 3 Dinner. Since nabayaran na namin ang airline at hotel, I asked them to prepare 5k each. Siguro enough na yun.

^ sis_friendlyneighbor_  i think we got the same person who processed the PPUR permits.. is he sir rommel?  I called him last month to advise our plan.. that is to rent a van and assistance for the permit?

if we're both referring to the same person, may i ask how did you pay them? because i haven't heard from him until now.. I was asking for a bank account for the advance payment deposit..

^ Jonel Racuya and name nya sis. I forwarded our name and age then sa June ko ipapadala ang payment since July pa naman kami. He sent us his wife's BPI account to deposit the payment for the permit. Nagrereply naman sya sis.

Subscribing too mga sis!  I'm planning to go there with my sis next year pa and I'm preparing for our IT to PPS & EL NIDO.  Am thinking of allotting 5 days to see the following places: Underground river, Tour A and C in El Nido.  Can you guys recommend a decent local travel agency?  TIA!

Will the Underground River or Honda Bay tours take all day? We plan to go to Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm sana in the afternoon.

^usually mga 1pm tapos na ang tour/lunch though mga 2hrs ang travel from UGR to PP kaya mga 3pm nasa hotel na kayo.

^ Oh my. Kulang pala sa time. Yung last day namin dapat evening pa yung flight but Air Asia moved it to 1:45 PM. Kakayanin kaya if we arrive at Iwahig at 8:00 AM? Yung mga gamit balikan na lang namin sa Big Brother Hotel at Manalo St. then diretso airport na.

Hello mga sis! My family and I will also be going to Palawan this Oct 19-24. 8pax kami lahat. Luckily for us, we were able to book the very cheap tickets nung nag sale ang Cebu Pac last week. Parang P750/pax roundtrip na.

Anyway, medyo tight ang budget namin so we're going to DIY the UR tour nalang. Still looking for someone to help us out with the permits, and roundtrip van transfer to El Nido.

Here's our itinerary:

Oct 19 - Cebu to PP (12:45pm arrival)
- afternoon: baker's hill/mitra farm/buy pasalubong at Cora's/dinner at Ka Lui

Oct 20 - Depart very early morning to El Nido
- check in at pension house
- check-out el nido town/sunset walks to Corong-corong

Oct 21 - Island hopping (just tour A or a combi of A&C)

Oct 22 - Nacpan/Twin beach/Marimegmeg tour

Oct 23 - Depart early for PP
- Underground River Tour

Oct 24 - last minute pasalubong shopping
- flight back to Cebu at 1pm

Mga sis, question lang: Enroute to PP, will the van pass by Sabang (?) or the area where the UR tours are being held? If yes, do you think there's still time to do the tour? I know we'd have to book the permits in advance but need help with that (hi sis tara!hehe). Originally planned doing the UR tour on the first day, pero 12:45pm pa ang dating nmin sa PP and parang rush rush if we go straightaway to Sabang. Ok lang sana kung kami lang ng hubby ko but we have another family along with us.

If anyone can refer a reliable and affordable van/driver for our roundtrip transfers to PP-EN v.v. (as well as going to Sabang) then that would be great!! How much po ba usually ang rate? Mahilohin po kasi ako so mas expensive din po ba if Grandia ang van na gagamitin? Any ideas kung how much?

Sorry for the long post...medyo excited lang!hehe...All 8 of us are first timers sa PP.

My question is: May hotel ba with pool na napayag sa daytour sa city proper?
Like Hotel Centro, Aziza Paradise, Microtel, etc...

Naka booked na kasi kami sa Balay Inato, kaya lang gusto ko sana after namin mag UG Tour mag swimming mga kids sa pool.

We're deciding between Ugong Rock/Zipline or Sabang X Zipline. Which one's better?

Also, yung boat from Sabang Wharf to Underground River entrance, pwede ba namen irequest na daan ng Sabang X Zipline on the way back to the wharf?

Hi! I'll try to help by answering some questions here since I frequently travel to Palawan to be with my family.

@mauz Yes kaya ng half day ang Honda Bay tour. It's up to you naman how long you want to stay per island. You can go very early so you can do other activities in the afternoon.
I've been there twice, mas sulit if whole day. At Pandan Island, we tried the new water activities like banana boat, jet ski, snorkeling and fish feeding

@jenny_syngkit I haven't tried Ugong Rock zipline, only the Sabang zipline. Personally I'd prefer Sabang zipline because 1) It's 800m long 2) You're above the sea 3) Your photos will be amazing because of the waves and mountains as your background; while Ugong rock I think 330m only.

@izabelle Sheridan resort is located in Sabang, which is 1.5hr away from the airport. Yes, it's kind of pricey even their day tour. But the place is really beautiful.

^ I'm not so sure about this sis. May nabasa ako na 10-15mins through boat yung Sabang zipline from Underground. Siguro pwede by land or boat yung papunta sa start ng zipline. Siguro nasa usapan niyo nalang yun ng tour guide mo.

In my experience, bumalik kami sa Sabang port from underground river kasi wala naman talaga sa plan namin yung zipline. Yung tita ko kasi may house sa Sabang kaya madami siyang tour guide na kilala at nagoffer samin ng package. May mga booth din don na nag ooffer ng zipline package. Since dun naman kami sa Sabang nag stay for 3 days at wala na kami magawa, we availed the zipline package. We rode an owner type jeep and then nag trek pa kami around 15minutes going to the starting point

One night sa BI and another night sa Aziza.
