Dati ang payat niya at patpatin. Ngayon, grabe! I also checked nadine's instagram, nagulat ako kase may taste siya huh. This early, Overwhelmed Love Team OT is getting tons of publicities, both good and bad. OT’s claim to fame, a hit project, caught everyone by surprise. Things were never the same after that for the new stars - OT’s half O1 and her partner O2.

Along with heaps of praises for their successful team up, they also became targets of attacks from different sides of the industry. The issues, more notably the comparisons being made with an Established Team ET is nothing but sizzling that trigger violent reactions from each others’ followers.

Responding to reporters, O1’s standard reaction to the issues is that she and O2 welcome it as a compliment to be compared with ET who are way up there and already a force to reckon with. O1 is often quoted as giving positive and glowing statements she attributes to ET, in answer to comparisons with ET’s Popular Girl PG and Partner EP.

But with their perceived physical resemblance, bashers accuse O1 of copying PG which O1 vehemently denies saying that she is her own person. In fact, said O1, she is flattered by all the attention and comparison being made.

But wait, let’s hear what O1 actually says in private.

Heard from a source that during her private conversations with friends, O1 shows how she detests the comparison, saying that apart from some perceived similarities, she and PG are way different. She was in fact quoted as saying that ET and OT do not connect at all - subtly saying that they are not of same level.

O1 further remarked that their fans alone are poles apart. She reportedly labeled ET fans as generally “jeje and baduy,” and out-of-school who belong to the CD market. While OT’s are of the AB and “sosyal,” uh oh! Debunking the notion that OT will be the next ET, she further added by saying that they (OT) are far better, classier …ergo, not of the same league. Strong words, ouch!

Will this set the tone for a fierce competition imminent between ET and OT? Will they be the new forces to keep showbiz media abuzz with dizzying rivalry?

Ayan, pinagaaway na sila mukhang kinakabahan na nga ang team kathniel hihi. Pero infairness naman kase, lalo na sa mga kids/ teenagers, eh patok ang kathniel. Sa older people naman ang jadine. So ganun, pana panahon, iba ibang age genre.

after backreading...uh oh honestly when i created this topic i thought of their first movie DNP which is already good enough for a feel-good movie. i'm not expecting much on them that time kasi newbie loveteam pero they passed my standards naman kaya nagustuhan ko sila.

until their second movie TBYD, excited ako at first kasi i read the book. yes pinagtyagaan ko basahin, nevermind the curses and corny parts. i thought magiging hit din like DNP. then napanood ko ang trailer ng film, just disappointed. nawala ang interes ko manood.

and then the promotions and guesting and interview portions, disappointed again. it seems they are not yet trained well but happy to learn that they've signed contracts with abs-cbn. hopefully mabigyan sila ng proper training and all dahil sa tingin ko naman may ibubuga silang dalawa as loveteam e.

but still i like them as a loveteam, and yes sana hindi muna nila totohanin ang romance nila on-screen kasi i just like the way they remain close friends. mas may kilig factor. it makes the audience want for more.

natawa naman ako na jeje/baduy yung fans nung established love team medyo true naman nga kasi.
pero sana di totoo na sinabe yan ni nadine because i love her and james mas gusto ko sila. baka naman pinagaaway lang sila sana wag naman kasi iba naman sila ng target audience

^Pinag-aaway lang yung fans. Kaloka. I like Kathniel and I like Jadine too. Magkaiba naman kasi yung 2 kaya dapat stop na yung ibang tao from comparing and bashing. Both Kapamilya love teams naman so sana isupport na lang.

^^ I agree. Better off na close friends muna sila. Ang hirap kasi like what happened with Kimerald.

Me not so sure about the BI in FP. I'm hoping it isn't true, esp James has always spoken with grace & humility compared to his ka-LT. ANyway, observation ko lang yan. Imho, nagsishare lang sila ng market, that is teens. I somehow disagree na kuha nila ang older market, especially after the outcome of their latest movie.

Anyway, they have a TV show na, My App Boyfie. Not so sure if KG to or primetime. Sana makabawi sila at maprove na nila ang marketability nila when it comes to TV.

if the BI is true medyo funny kasi mostly jeje din naman fans ng Jadine. sakin kasi yung mga super die hard fans ang jeje. kung nag-aaway away ang fans one sign of being jeje ang fanbase. hello they came from diary ng panget. forever wattpad movies and even series sila. pero nakakaawa minsan ang mga artista sila nasisira dahil sa OA na fans.

itigil na lang comparison sa 2 LT medyo magkaiba naman kasi sila.

Lakas makabata ng LT nila haha sa sobrang tuwa ko sa kanila pinanood ko sa youtube mga music videos nila and nakakatuwa they can really sing, may chemistry talaga, sa tanda kong ito kinikilig ako sa kanila at na-e-LSS ako sa mga kanta nila. I hope they make it big!

Kinikilig din ako sa dalawang ito. And to think, di na man din ako teenager pa. Kakalerks! May chemistry yung dalawa. Aminado din naman sila na focus sila sa kanya-kanyang career ngayon kaya wala munang lovelife. Imaintain lang nila friendship nila. Nakakatuwa silang panoorin. Naloka ako nun nalaglag si James sa stage!    Though, ang gwapo pa rin nya kahit nun paakyat sya ulit. hihi Feeling ko matrain lang to ng husto sa Tagalog at wag magka-attitude, next in line na to kay DJP. May fans na eh. Sana seryosohin na nya this time. Sayang ang chance.

Agree, wag ipilit if reel loveteam lang. Dyan usually nagkakasira eh. They're given a second chance.
