Those windows are for illumination naman and it can be considered a plus dahil stairs are negative chi generators and having natural sunlight stream in to cleanse it each day is positive.  Sa amin naalala ko when the stairs were blocked na by the house next door ay things were not so well na.  You can tame the chi naman by having plants in the stairwell area.

It depends on the circumstances.  Ang timing sa paglipat is just one of the factors.  The others are generally chi ng place, immediate area of the place, the chi of the occupants and even the stuff to be used inside the place.  Yun timing like date, hour, etc. ay would either improve o worsen lang things.

An example na mas favorable kahit patapos na ay kung next year ay hindi bagay ang maging chi para sa iyo/inyo.  Hence mas papayuhan ka na lumipat bago pa maging next year kahit pa patapos na ng taon.

I'm not very familiar with Feng Shui, but sabi ng mom ko masama raw na may balcony yung bedroom? Is it true?

One basic reason is that it becomes a doorway hence chi is channeled in and out of it.  How that energy channeled plays on the place and its occupants depends on many factors.  Pero for sure if wrongly designed ay it will introduce serious and unusual experiences.  Sa latter ay yun with the unseen.  Remember, feng shui covers the yin and yang and balancing the energies of those.

We are in the process of furnishing yung bagong house namin. We plan to move in ng January kahit hindi pa siya totally tapos like yung bakod or cabinet. I just want to ask if okay mag move in Around January 2 2017 to January 9 2017.

Also, over the weekend, nag linis kami nung bakuran since dun linagay ng mga karpintero yung kalat like box ng tiles, pinag putulan ng tiles etc. Hindi naman sya kadiri since hindi sya nabubulok. And after namin mag linis may mga nakita kami na frogs. Small 3 frogs lang naman. Ewan ko kung nag kataon lang or may ibig bang sabihin un.

Though I can't answer on the dates (and by this time its quite too late) what I can do share is that auspicious or inauspicious dates only count as a small percentage of how luck is influenced.  This is why you see people doing well even if its Ghost Month, they have the number 4 or 13, reside or do business with what may seem a low-luck area, etc. 

IF it is normal sa area ninyo or may sort of environment which supports such ay then it is not a bad sign.  If you will notice mga successful places really balance nature with that of modern man's needs.  As long as there is that balance you can say things should give you an even fighting chance.  Hence, its not bad luck.  HOWEVER, if there is no sensible reason why there should be frogs living in your area - not just at your place - then you should be alarmed.  That would mean an anomaly which is giving warning that chi is not balanced in your area not just at your place.

Let me clarify some points about feng shui.  Feng shui is ART and SCIENCE.  Hence it is something that MATH definitely is used.  Math as what it is ay it is then something we can depend on. 

Sa topic of this thread ang usapan being focus is the Nature Luck.  Ito yun arrangement, placement and enhancement theory that most encounter and relate to sa feng shui.  This can be the buy this, buy that method or the more traditional type.

One most important factor ay do NOT put anything in your place na hindi ninyo alam ang history of.  This applies mostly sa mga antiques.  But it can also apply sa mga bought or given by questionable sources.  Like nag-regalo sa iyo yun kaibigan mo ng salamin na alam mo he/she has a reputation to earn a living from illegal means.  Yes, even if the gift was brand new ay the very fact na yun chi ng person is tainted can affect your place!

Another is ang rituals done is to rebalance the energies.  You can and should opt instead for your religion for such matters.  Remember may usapang God Luck so what better way to touch base on that than connect and strengthen your faith.

Most of all ang most simplest is the kind of meal and who joins you with that meal.  Harmony of the occupants is so important.  This is something that is being neglected nowadays due to demands of modern life.

Yes ang sagot to your question.  You have to consider the size and even shape of the opening and as to what that opening is tapat to.  Iyan yun basics.

Current technology allows one to have options unlike before.  Admittedly it is budget restrictions which limit our choices.  This really should be on a pro-level consultation na but to answer your question na pasok sa limitations of general advise ay redesign of the place may be in order.

Do note na hindi ikaw lang ang may issue na ito.  This happens dahil lack of advance planning sa wide level.  Not just you nor your neighbor but sa buong area. 

The consequences of putting something new is like rolling the dice.  May chance na it may improve but it mayroon rin likelihood it may worsen things.  A lot will ask na paano mangyayari iyon when aircon system lang naman ang ikakabit. 

Remember ang feng shi is about chi aka cosmic energy.  Energy per definition ng science can be created, transformed or transferred but never destroyed.  Yun aircon unit uses energy and converts energy to something hindi ba.  So that alone spells that it can and will influence changes.  Maaring small or big. 

In one of my previous cases - hindi ito fiction - ay sa butas ng aircon dumaan yun evil unseen ones.  Yes, plural. 

Another situation was due to the elevation ng lot the house was in.  It worsened things by adding an opening for the aircon.  Not only is the lot already attracting potential thieves but equally raising the temptation pa.

Again, these are just some examples but points to consider always when you want to effect changes.

I am not sure if you have read my posts on the feng shui thread but a plant placed under the stairs is not going to really cut it.  As for your cacti ay its a bit too much to have so many of those more so kung in one area not unless it was expertly prescribed.  With regards naman to what plant is best for the entrance area ay any which gives you warmth and joy.  For it will be the first thing you will see upon arriving and the last before you leave.

is it okay to put a small pot of succulent / cactus on our altar? It's not messy naman. The size is okay too(not too big). It looks nice that there's something green on our altar.  We also have small pots of cactus on our concrete bakod na sa harap ng house facing the street pero asa loob na side yung cactus para din hindi maabot ng cat and dogs.

An altar is not something we prettify.  It is something which we use to commune with God.  The norm is to keep it simple and clean.  Nothing more and nothing less.

The "ugali" to prettify the altar is lost to me where it began.  If you will try to recall ay what is placed on the altar are offerings.  Stuff to prettify it are NOT offerings.

An altar is something that everyone in the place can connect to.  In short dapat nasa normal height dapat.  Iyong placed in some corner and height ay that is not respecting what the altar is for.  That is treating it as like an appliance or fashion accessory to a place.

Remember ang luck ay made up of 3 different types.  Putting the wrong kind of emphasis sa altar natin which connects us to God - be open-minded on this ha - ay its simply turning away from the luck that He wishes to give to us.

More often maraming restrictions as to what can and cannot be placed sa work table per company rules.  Thus I tend to advise less on what to place rather than get the person asking in trouble.  IF your company has relaxed rules then a plant with long thin leaves sited NEAR but not on your table is the best.  If it has to be on your table dapat sized just small enough not to be a distraction nor cause a disaster.  I will not go into details for more expensive options as if one can afford such ay then they can very well afford to pay for professional consultation.

The more correct approach is to take a break sa area where one can really recharge for a bit.  Drinking warm liquids over cold kapag stressed helps.  If like now na mainit ang panahon then room temperature water will suffice.  Resist the urge to drink cold drinks.  Cool is the most na pwede if ever the need is great for something of such sort.

Doing exercises rin at your work desk can help break the accumulation of negative chi.  However, if really burned out ay do take that much needed break.  Not even machines can continue going forever more so tayo na mga living beings with finite bodies.
