We already have basic fengshui tips thread but wouldn't it be nice to have a separate thread focusing just mainly on the design of the house?

This is for the people who wanted to build a house and/or is planning to buy a house but dont know if it's fengshui approved or not. Or to those people who have already bought a home and found out na mali mali pala ang placing ng rooms --- we can find what remedy we could apply without renovating the whole house.

So sisses if you have tips, post them here!

Mine is:

For room na magkatapat, (2rooms) u can put small circle mirror on top of the door on both rooms

Another is yung stove should not be seen directly from the main door

Hi, honeybunny, just to make it clear. Yun round mirror ba to be placed on the top portion of both rooms na magkatapat, which means pagtatapatin din yun 2 mirror na yun, or magkasalungat? Baka kaya me setback lalo kung pati mirrors eh magkatapat? Thanks.

^ang alam ko sis magkatapat dapat yung mirror sa taas ng door. This is only for 2rooms na magkatapat ah. Pag 3 or more alam ko uber bad yun at iba na ang remedy

Another tip i remember dapat daw septic tank hindi pwede sa ilalim ng dining or kitchen or cr.

I wonder saan sya pwede ipwesto? Sa backyard??

Hi, mga sis.

We'll stick to basics lang ha and on the design.  Anything flashy o sobrang detailed ay hindi ko na sasagutin as those are pro level questions na.

Design na pasado sa feng shui.  It must not be something na weird ang dating.  Generally it would be something that is timeless o can be acceptable pa rin ang dating no matter ilang taon na.  Obviously hindi candidate yun mga parang castle ang dating or ultra-modern na parang spaceship.  Hindi rin bagay na ang bahay mo looks like a temple. 

Ideally the place has enough room that allows you to feel na hindi confined.  As each of us have different standards ay you need to reflect on your limitations and not that of others. 

FYI.  A lot of those units sold nowadays are uber ewan.  Malaki lang kaunti sa broom closet sometimes lalo na if one is renting a room!  Overpriced to take advantage of things before the real estate bubble bursts.

Most critical is not to have the septic tank under your roof.  If its inside your home ay you are in for a long and very challenging time of your life!

^ sir ch, kung yung septic tank po is isama under the roof ng carport, ok lang kaya? though yung car, hindi naman na aabot sa septic tank. Bale yung taas ng carport, gagawing parang terrace lang. Thanks po.

You're going to owe me some serious shrimp tempura for this   As the top deck of the carport is going to be a terrace lang make sure that (1) color red yun flooring ng garage, (2) use warm/yellow/incandescent lighting sa garage or better yet all exterior areas, (3) may potted plant near the main door and (4) may plants rin sa terrace above the carport nga. 

No one must ever sleep sa garage area.  Do not keep your pets confined to that area.  Do not hold events sa garage as much as possible.  Do not keep junk or trash in that area.  And most importantly make sure to keep that area mold free - that also means make sure yun mga drainage o such that may be found there must be in good condition always. 

Sa terrace just make sure may thick curtains or something to cover yun lighting from the terrace at night.  Doon rin use warm/yellow/incandescent lighting. 

Even if the car is not going to reach the septic tank area the mere fact it is within the area can be bad if any energy from it escapes.  What I've instructed ay to help contain that or at least mitigate its effects if it does escape - energy o chi we are talking of here ay tulad ng radiation that can pass through matter or flow around.

If your hubby or you gagawa sa car for repairs or modding just make sure to tidy up well after.

hello! I have read na worst feng shui daw yung stairs in the middle of the house and stove kita from the main door.. sobrang nagkataon naman yata kasi ganyan ang style ng nabili kong bahay.. Well, most of the houses sa village namen ganyan ang style.. so paano kaya ang pangontra dun?

Yes, uber bad ang magkaroon ng stairs sa gitna ng bahay.  Walang pangontra as pangontra means avert o nullify.  The best you can do is just mitigate things.  One of which is using plants.

We have a small 2-bedroom house na duplex. Yung doors ng dalawang rooms ay magkaharap. I remember a few years back, someone told me na dapat daw lagyan ng pananggalan pag ganito yung situation. So, I put windchimes sa ibabaw ng door. Actually, lahat ng doors sa bahay namin have windchimes. May altar din kami sa gitna ng dalawang doors na magkaharap. Maliit lang kasi yung hallway. Kasyang-kasya lang yung altar.

Our bed naman is hindi nakaharap sa door, so di na din kami masyado nag-worry.

Nag-react ako when I read na di maganda pag ang stove eh nakikita agad, or nakikita from the outside. Although hindi sa harap ng door yung stove namin, nakaharap siya sa windows. Kaya lang, na-realize ko na natatakpan pala siya ng printer. As in blocked talaga ang view; so ok lang yung position niya.😃

Having doors or any opening at that facing each other is uber bad.  Yes, one option is to place something to obstruct the direct flow. 

Sound ang ginagamit ng windchimes to distort the bad chi.  The question though here is (1) tama ba na gamitin such sa door area, (2) is it of the correct material and (3) does it produce a sound that gives not just correction but positive energy.

FYI.  From what I do know ay mahal and imported ang windchime na papasa sa ganito.  Its simply impractical for one to resort to this option when already facing issues.

IF the printer is often in use in the location mentioned ay that contributes to bad energy as well.

Good Day CH, ask ko lang ano pangontra if ang door ng master bedroom at door ng CR ay magkatapat, then main door and service area door magkatapat din. Yun kasi yung plan ng house. hindi na pwede baguhin. thank you

Hi CH, could you please clarify yung round mirror on top of the door?  May nabasa ako dati sa kabilang thread, eventhough ilang beses kong binasa yun, parang mali ata pag kaintindi ko based on the first post of this thread.
Magkatapat kasi ang kitchen at bathroom sa apartment namin. Yun bathroom door tapat nya yung stove (walang door ang kitchen pero nilagyan ko ng manipis na curtain yung opening). Ang ginawa ko, nilagay ko yung round mirror sa front and back, taas ng bathroom door.
Just to add, hindi namin pwede ilipat yun stove unless major renovation.

Super weird as to why is it the plan of the house cannot be changed.  Well, weird naman na some "clause" some folks put in their contracts

Yes, tama si sis sima.  The round mirrors should be placed above each magkatapat na doorway to counter the bad effect it will create.

Sa bathroom door na tapat sa stove it should be more of a different approach.  Use warm lighting inside the CR, a round mirror nga above the door and a red colored doormat for the CR.  Its not "healthy" to have your stove tapat sa CR   You can do away with the curtain more so if it cramps the space and/or limits lighting.  You should also regularly cleanse your place not just the CR and kitchen.  This way yun circulating chi would be of the ideal kind as much as possible.

Sir CH, what is the remedy for windows facing the stairs? The townhouse we are buying ay 3 floors, each stairs per floor may window po sa pagbaba mo.
