How much is your budget for the entourage(abay) dresses?

Below were my budget for my abays during my wedding last May 2015

Mother (both side) : 2,500 each
Secondary Sponsor : 1,500 each
Flower girls   : 1,000 each
Kids' Barong : 400 each (Ombre style)
Male Adult's Barong : 800 each (Same style sa kids)

All these were bought and made to order sa divisoria. Barong was easy to bought tho it takes time since made to order yung gusto kong kulay ng pag ka-ombre. Then for gowns i suggest that if you can order as early as you can para macover yung mga unexpected sa delivery time ng gowns. Actually practical sa divisoria, you just have take a lot of patience. My bridesmaids are my high school best friends. Sabi ng mom ko sakanila ko ipa sagot yung gown. Kaso they are not rich and will not spend that much for me.

Kaya I'll shoulder the dress and hair & makeup. But I requested them to book a room in my hotel preps on their expense which they agreed.

Mahirap na magdemand masyado kasi Monday pa yung wedding ko. Kailangan pa nila mag absent.

Sa divisoria lang naman sila magpapagawa. And I trust their taste, they are super fashionista.

For divisoria gown, 1,200 budget ba is enough na? Masyado bang maliit? Hehe.

female secondary sponsors and maid of honor - 2,200 each for infinity dresses that i bought from etsy (they get to keep their dresses)

male secondary sponsors and best men - rented barongs for 500 each

Whaaaa my entourage gowns are so expensive-- nakakaiyak. But I had no choice, I had to cancel my contract with my previous supplier since I had dresses done and didn't like the quality. Plus it took more than 3 fittings to get the fit right, and my entourage members are too busy for that!

I just keep trying to think that I am paying for convenience, professionalism, good service, and better quality. Too expensive kasi talaga but I am already under time constraints to really shop around.

The dress are nice to think its only P1,800. I'll just increase my budget like that siguro. Pero sana makatawad pa sila. Sabi ko naman nung wedding ng sis ko nakabili kame ng P1,200 each. If kaya nila makatawad ng ganun, push. If not tell me kung magkano natawad nila.

^that's okay chili, you'll realise later on that the spending you did is worth the peace of mind you and your ento members get in return.

^hermione28, actually bouquets talaga fineature dyan. but you are right, P1800 is really a good rate per gown, considering how generous pa our supplier with fabric. Hindi kami tinipid. I think makakakita naman ang friends mo ng lower sa divi basta magaling silang mamili at mag haggle.

Our mananahi charged us 3k for bridesmaid dresses, then 1k for kid's attire. Mahal noh? Pero I think pretty standard nowadays!

^Sis if matino kausap your seamstress and the dresses are good quality and good fit, OK na yung 3k   per gown! =)

Sa mga Sis na nakagamit ng cruella and co for their bridemaids, okay ba yun tela niya? I'm afraid to buy kasi na hindi ko pa alam yun texture nung dress. Big thing kasi yun 1250 per piece siya then 1100 na lang if 6 pieces and up.

Let say sis nag mahal ng 100 pesos for this year. Last year rate kasi ito. Pero long gown na ito sis. 2 palette pa. may mga cocktail dress na 800 lang if you really want na mas cheaper which is sa tabora area ito ng divisoria. sa 168 namin ito pinagawa since worried kasi ako sa mga abay ko na pumunta pa ng tabora at mahirap hanapin ang place. tiyagaan lang sa pag hahanap ng mura sis sa divisoria. it's worth it naman. kasi para hindi ka mag karoon ng regret ng expense mo after the wedding kung tight budget ka.


by the way here's the photo of my entourage. please disregard yung leftmost na abay kasi MOH siya and nag pagawa siya ng sarili niyang gown pero yung materials niya from divisoria din which cost only 1000. Same with my gown, divisoria materials which cost only 1,200 then yung patahi ko is 3,000 so my gown only worth 4,200. super sulit yet satisfied!

My bridesmaids naman mga taga tondo yun. sanay sa divi area. hehe. Though sa dami ng nagtitinda, hindi naman namen kabisado saan don yung mapagkakatiwalaan at magaling gumawa.

Sis, you can consider what we did. I live overseas, and only my mum and brother organised everything for us. Some of bridesmaids live overseas too, others in the city, the rest are from the province. So there's no way talaga they can meet altogether for measurements and fittings. This is what we did:
1. We requested for a measurement guide from the supplier.
2. I composed an email, attached the measurement guide and sent it to my bridesmaids.
3. They went to their trusted dressmakers, had measurements done, filled out the measurement guide and sent it back to me.
4. When I received all the measurements, I sent them all to my mum and she's the one who went to the supplier na with all the measurements plus photo of my gown peg for bridesmaids. Here's a photo of them together:

For my MOH, i was the one who did her measurements kase we both live overseas and she had her dress done with my designer.

I bought the fabric and gave them to my secondary sponsors and bridesmaids. I figure they can have it made in the style/design they are most comfortable in and by their trusted mananahi. it looks interesting naman in the picture pa din and put together because the fabric ties everything together. gastos na nila patahi.
