hi mga sis, question lang mga sis, since somebody already asked about neckties   pag nagpapagawa ba ng dress shirt para kay hubby to be, automatic na ba na walang mga buttons para sa cufflinks, or tayo pa ba ang magtatastas ng butones para sa cuff links? or kailangan bang sabihin yun sa magtatahi ng dress shirt? or automatic na ba yun na alam nila na hindi maglalagay ng butones kasi para yun sa cufflinks?  pasenya na ha, kung medyo mababaw yung tanong ko.  Hindi ko lang din kasi alam kung saan thread ilalagay.  Thanks mga sis and pasensya na sa tanong. ^you have to tell the tailor that the dress shirt will be used with cufflinks for him to make the necessary adjustment/holes. bihira na kasi ang gumagamit ng cufflinks sa pilipinas kaya ang default style nila yung mga buttons na.

^ Hi ninetwenty! If you like Vania's highly structured, minimalist and streamlined style, try checking out Boom Sason if you're having difficulty booking Vania, or Maureen Disini. They all have similar design aesthetics. As for Veejay, you will find many many other mid-range designers with similar aesthetics. Hope this helps!

ninetwenty, I agree with Chili1113 -- I was choosing between Vania and Maureen before I decided to go with an RTW gown instead.

bonzaigirl, ask the tailor to make the shirt with a French cuff. That's the double cuff style most commonly worn with cufflinks.

Hi, Sisters -

We want to ask our male ento to wear suits. Did you provided for yours or you asked them to just get/buy or you gave them tela? If tela - usually how many yards needed? I really want a streamlined cohesive look.

^sis Tubby, for our male ento, my husband called for a meeting and asked them if they will be willing to wear rentals. So we brought all of them to a tailor/suit rental establishment. Their measurements were taken and all of them wore suits that belong to a "set" for that cohesive streamlined look. Also we had a set of made-to-order bowties made for all of them. Each suit rental cost 900 pesos plus 2000 refundable deposit. For 6,300 (900 x 7 males or 1 best man, 3 secondary sponsors and 3 groosmen), which is nowhere near the price of one complete suit, all of our male ento members looked like they had customized suits and it looked cohesive because all the suits belong to only one set. (plus 14,000 or 2000x7, for the refundable deposit, pero refundable naman siya.)
 If your ento members will be willing to wear rented suits then it will cost much less and everyone will be wearing similar suits. Not to mention, it's eco-friendly.
