hi girls, 2016 b2b din! question lang, necessary ba kumuha ng couturier for wedding? what if i already know what i want and i already have the photos of how i want my gown to look like (including the entourage)? need pa rin ba kumuha ng designer? napakagastos kasi ng couturier. pang honeymoon na din un money to spend on the person. thanks!

^its really just a preference whether you get a designer, buy off the rack, or go to a seamstress =) If you really know already what you want and prefer to go to a seamstress to have your gown made, just make sure lang siguro na sanay gumawa ng wedding gown yung magtatahi, pati yung "cutter" nila or yung puputol ng fabric.

But before you decide tingin ka muna ng rtw. Madami na ata ngayon na affordable rtw mentioned here. Aside from divi, theres ivory and white, bride house, and an rtw store in Landmark based on what Ive read here.

. Madami dito sis na mga brides na yung iba eh sa divi bumibili ng gown. Or in your case, kung gusto mo pagpagaya ng gown, pwedi naman. HIndi naman porket pinagawa or binili sa Divi eh ibig eh pangit. Everything will be upto you. Although you have to take into consideration, na baka hindi nila maexecute ng maayos yung gown na gusto mo, or baka yung design na gusto mo eh hindi pala ganoon kabagay sa body type mo. Ang difference lang naman kasi kaya kumukuha ng couterier eh kasi matagal na sila sa business, and alam na nila kung ano ang bagay sa body type mo, at the same time, shempre ikaw lang ang may ganoong suot. Ngayon kung kakilala mo naman yung mananahi at alam mo yung capabilities nya eh pwedi din naman. Nung kinasal yung friend ko eh mga abay kami. Lahat kaming abay eh dun sa kakilala nila na mananahi ang mga gown galing. Maganda naman yung mga gowns namin, yun lang nga eh yung sa iba hindi ganuun ka fit. Kaya ang nangyari dun mismo sa wedding day eh nagtatahi kami. Dun din ako nagpatahi ng wedding dress ko, ang peg ko sana eh mala jenny packham na dress.. hehe.. In fairness maganda sya, yung wedding dress. Hindi lang nga sya talagang gaya nung jenny packham na gusto kong dress. hehe... pero isusuot ko naman yun dun sa civil wedding ko.hehehhe..

HIndi kita tinatakot ha.

Pinapakita ko lang sa yo ang pros and cons ng pagpili ng designer gowns and ng mananahi. Pero, like I said, kung kilala mo sila talaga and alam mong makakapagdeliver ahead of time, go for it. Ang advice ko lang is, sabihin mo sa kanila yung wedding mo eh like 2 months or 1 month ahead of your actual date.

iba talaga ang fit kapag couture. pati pag cut niyan at paglagay ng beads iba. nakakabit kasi sa gowns nila name nila like an artwork.

sis bimbolera, it depends on your budget sis.. how much are you willing to spend ba for the dress. chili1113 is right, there are couple of not so expensive gown makers pero nice naman ang gawa.. if you choose to have your gown done in divi, make sure you get good reviews muna.. mahirap na kasi madaming naloloko and usually hindi nasusunod yung peg, and the brides end up spending more kasi pag di nila gusto, bibili ng RTW na lang.. so doble gastos.

^^ang hirap din kasi maghanap ng first hand recommendation when it comes to gown makers sa divi. sana may magrecommend pa. natabunan na kasi halos lahat ng mga messages.

I love the sketch she made for me para sa bridal gown!!
Nasketch niya yung gusto ko talaga tapos mababa lang ang quote nia

Pero magmeet pa muna ko ng ibang designer para may option ako ^_^
But I'm seriously considering her na.

hi sissies! need help sana with finding couturiers with limited budget. ive already sent my bridal gown pegs to April Dalid and Roxy Bagano and they both quoted me around 35-40k complete with accessories. pasok pa sa budget pero i want to have more options sana.

also considering RTWs pero siguro last option na yun if wala talaga kong mahanap.

i asked my entou gown couturier kung pwedeng gawan ng necktie ang mga guys entou.. she said yes and for free na lang niya binigay sakin

Sis hallerski, thank you sa tip. I inquired sa suit designer ni fiance, 200-250php daw ang neckties, depende sa tela.

Baka may alam kayo na mas mura? hehe. Otherwise sya na kunin namin. Magbibigay din ba dapat ng neckties sa mga Ninongs?
