To those sisses who answered my question, thank you so much. Much better nga na one color nlang for the entourage, then another color for the flower girls.

Another question sisses. kailangan ba same color ang entourage (bridesmaids and Secondary colors) sa theme ng reception?
Sorry for the weird question, but when I asked my caterer about the colors of the styling sa reception, he asked me if mag kaiba ba talaga ang kulay ng entourage sa reception. I got confused tuloy if importante ba na same color dapat.

sis rikki21, not necessarily na same color ang entourage sa theme PERO wag naman super contrast at WAG same na same color.. example for blue, navy blue yung entourage tas light blue yung sa reception.. kasi kung halimbawa abay moko, ayaw ko naman na parang extension ko lang yung table cloth..tsaka di na uso ngayon yung one color motif
I suggest if not too much, you can also indicate sa invitation mo kung ano theme mo para atleast yung guests mo alam kung ano type at color ang isusuot nila..

My entourage's color will be royal blue. Then instead na navy blue or royal blue ang reception, i saw aqua blue + purple na okay sa reception para naman hindi super boring na dark blue padin. I was confused lang kasi na sabi ng caterer bakit daw iba ang color ng entourage sa theme. Ayoko naman kasi maging boring ang reception, at the same time, para lutang naman ang color ng entourage .

hi sis... not a an adora creation bride but entourage only.. she's ok and easy to contact... her rates are 3500 for BM, SS...4k for MOH/MOB, 2500 for FG...

May nakapagtry or nakarinig ba dito about sa madore gowns ni veejay floresca? I'm interested sa isa sa RTW gowns nya, maganda naman [textspeak!] details and mas reasonably priced compared to veluz. Medyo worried lang ako kasi i'm from overseas so hindi ko alam kung makukuha nya talaga [textspeak!] tamang fitting sakin. Has anyone heard about him? I would greatly appreciate your input. Salamat!

It really depends on how you want it. In our case, the motif still stands so we still had a blue color (tiffany) but only for some minor details like ribbons and napkins. The rest are neutrals kasi ayaw ko lumaya sa motif color

hi mga sis, share ko lang finally nakabooked na ako ng designer! been reading girl talk since i got engaged trying to look for suppliers for my wedding! I tried a few gowns from ivory and white, karimadon, white label bridal and stores sa landmark, just to get a right vibe for my peg which is un mermaid style... iba iba talaga ang fit ng mermaid gowns, very tricky ang style na to! but i feel very positive with Kirk soberon! he's very nice and sobrang hinhin! hehe. he quoted 30k for my peg gown alone, pero he offered me a 60k package which includes my bridal gown, mother's dress, MOH, 3 secondary sponsor, 5 bridesmaids, and 2 flower girls! feeling ko mura na ito kaya i booked him right away!

i've read so much great feedback here, thanks everyone for sharing!

just wanted to ask if anyone has worked with isabel celdran? i can't seem to find feedback for her anywhere on GT, but i like that her designs seem diverse and not over the top.

i also like richie ortega-torres' designs, iba-iba talaga per bride, to me this means na pinakikinggan niya talaga gusto ng each bride at hindi templated and designs niya. kaso i think she's way beyond my budget.

may mairerecommend ba kayo na similar style kay richie ortega-torres? i've backread this thread but not the previous 13 threads (dami! haha), and so far i've scratched off veluz (mahal!), von lazaro and mel orlina ony because i prefer a softer silhouette and less ornate beadwork.

^i'm not familiar with richie ortega-torres, but if you're after a romantic and soft feminine touch, i highly recommend kristel yulo. she uses more of lace and light beading, but she can do heavy beading as well if you're more into that. she will prepare several sketches for you on your 2nd meeting. she'll check your peg and get to know you on your first meeting.

Hello mga sis, my future MIL finds the rate of my gown to be too expensive (60k ang quote ni Mel Orlina sa peg ko). Napapadalawang isip tuloy ako. She might think I'm being impractical to spend that much on my wedding dress.

^Are you the one paying for your gown? If yes, wala syang paki dun. If no, pay for the difference para walang sabihin

that was what i was gonna say. if you're the one paying for the dress, that's your business.

Talk to your MIL first and let her understand why you think it would be worth it.

Even if you're the one paying, it's quite stressful to have bad air hanging around due to differences in opinion before the wedding.

But overall, I think the costing should be discussed between the couple lang. As in no sharing with families or friends.. Unless someone else is paying?

Hello mga sis, thank you for your advice. And yes I am paying for my gown. Ang hirap kasi every now and then they ask for the price of the suppliers were getting, magugulat na lang ako alam nila kasi at that time wala pa kong gag order kay fiancee.

Mabait nan si FMIL, napangiwi lang ako internally pagkabigkas niya ng "Ay bakit ang mahal at nagcommit ka agad. Meron namang iba dyan na mas mura lang"

They know somebody daw kasi who makes wedding gowns for a starting rate of 12k. I think that's an okay rate kaso ang hirap kasi yung kakilala lang and you don't know if they can deliver.

^meron din kaming relative na ganyan. everytime nalalaman niya mga prices/rates ng mga suppliers namin, sasabihin niya lagi: bakit yung sa anak ko noon, mura lang, ganito ganito ang price? yung tinutukoy naman niya na anak niya, may anak na rin na around 8 years old na yata.

ako as much as possible i don't reveal prices and rates. except na lang for the reception because my fiance's parents are paying for that.

more or less ang may alam lang ng mga gastusin namin is my maid of honor. she'll get married soon na rin kasi.

Siguro mga sis di nila nako-consider ang inflation kapag nagbibigay ng rate. Even Mel said na siya din yearly nag-i-increase ng rate niya sa gown (pero maliit lang naman daw like 500 lang haha), akala ko sa caterers and venue lang ang may 10-30% yearly increase.

^Ako, I told my relatives and even my mom na kapag may nagtanong kung how much yung mga gastos ng wedding sila magbabayad. :p That actually stopped them from asking about it.

Hi mga sis. Got New Creation Fashion for our entourage. It's along makati ave. Sa mga na canvas ko, duon na yung cheapest. Other designer would quote me 6k to 8k. Pero dito I got them for 4k only.
