^ sis, depende sa designer at sa klase ng gown. Kung bridal gown may mga designers na usually 6months and palugit. Merong 2-3months. Kung mga pang-event naman na gowns, may mga tumatanggap ng 1month pero syempre depende pa rin sa peg. May mga willing din gumawa ng gowns 2wks lang palugit. Depende din sa month. Pagdating ng peak season like December-Feb or around June, busy mga suppliers so matagal din ang paggawa ng gowns.

done with my first fitting in divi last weekend. mejo masikip sa balakang and maluwag sa bewang so pinaliitan ko pa sa bewang and konting luwag sa balakang. so far im happy naman with the results considering its a 5k gown.

How about yung paggawa mismo ng design ng gown? Yung design na itatahi nila? Diba normally ibibigay natin pegs natin, then gagawan nila tayo ng design based sa pegs natin and other factors.. Gano katagal yun? Gano katagal siya normally ginagawa ng designer? Thanks..

^ You're welcome, dear sa sketch naman, usually yung mga designers on-the-spot gumagawa ng sketch sa harap mo mismo. Pero may mga designers din na hindi agad gumagawa then ifofollow up nalang sa iyo either thru email or social media. Hindi pa ako nakapag-pagawa ng bridal gown pero nakapagpatahi na ako ng gowns. I suggest na mag-allocate ka ng ample time sa paggawa ng gown mo kasi expect mo na na maraming dagdag-bawas/change ng peg na mangyayari unless RTW kukunin mo na usually ay measurements lang ang aayusin pero dagdag-bawas pa rin kung nag-ge-gain or lose weight.

Mga sis, paano ba kayo nakapagdecide sa designer ng wedding gown niyo if hindi price ang pinaguusapan? I've been to 4 designers kase and lahat sila nasa 45-50k ang quote sakin. Now I'm confused!

Designer 1: 3-in-1 gown ang offer niya sakin. Okay nung kausap mo siya personally, he said he usually sends mood boards para pati HMUA magamit yun para yung ineenvision niyang look for you e matupad talaga. Sabi pa niya he may be in the city where I'm in (I'm overseas) 5 months before the wedding so he can fit me. Kaso ang tagaaaaaal magreply sa queries! To be fair, sabi niya he's finishing 5 bridal gowns for November so busy siya. Pero what if it's my turn na, natatakot ako na hindi ko siya mahagilap considering I'm overseas!

Designer 2: Kilala na gumagawa ng magagandang gowns; you can see in her instagram naman, pati yung mga dress sa atelier niya. So medyo kampante ako na maganda ang gawa and siguro kalalabasan na rin ng gown, kahit medyo okay lang ako sa design niya for me. Or baka hindi lang ako marunong umintindi ng drawing? It sounded nice naman nung dinedescribe niya!

Sorry sa haba ng post! Medyo naloloka na kase ako kakaisip; mahirap pag hindi ka settled sa mga major suppliers kase!

^ sis, initials ng designers baka nabanggit na sila dito? Haha! Kasi para mabasa mo yung mga reviews ng mga sis natin dito about them. O kaya search mo sila around GT. I'm sure mababangit at mababanggit sila dito. Isa pa, i-sa-suggest ko sana na you should make an appointment and meet them para ma-feel mo kung comfortable ka ba sa supplier, but since you;re not based in Manila, then that isn't an option. Magconsult ka ng close friends mo kung okay ba mga sketch nila at kuha ba yung pegs mo? At kung ano yung offers nila? At syempre research ka rin ng reviews about them. Yun yung pinakaimportante. Yung reviews nila at yung this-is-it feeling mo.

sis it depends on the designer and the design of your gown.  For instance my designer can finish a wedding gown in a few months. However, since I signed up early and due to the design of the gown, the designer wants to start early and I will have my 1st fitting 11 month before the wedding.

sis gj1206... since the prices the designers are more or less the same, I would go with the most reliable and well known designer especially since you are an overseas bride. I would choose Designer #2 bec as you said she is well known and has nice gowns in her shop and on instagram. Plus I would rather wear just one dress from a more well-known designer, than wear a 2 or 3-1 dress from a lesser known designer, which I wont know how the dress will turn out pa till last min.

correct me if im wrong. gown design meaning sketch? if yes ako kasi sa email kami nagusap. sinabi ko yung peg ko na 2 in 1 gown. then after 2 days ata or a day sinend nya sakin yung sketch.

NA and MO! I met them when I did a quick visit to the Philippines two weeks ago, and wala naman akong problema sa kanila. Hindi kase ako yung super friendlyclose na tao, and I know that it's a business for them, and business relationship din ang habol ko so okay lang. Kaya eto, mega tanong sa lahat on what they think, hoping may lilitaw na ray of light na, "Pak! Yun na, tama ka, go na ako with this designer" sa kakatanong. Hehe.

May naisip nanaman akong tanong! For those na may nabook na na designers, may written contract ba kayo with them? Anong nilalaman ng contract? Para sana malaman ko kung ano bang dapat hanapin kong important na nakasulat doon!

^hi sis! sa akin wala ako contract with my designer pero kasi tiwala ako sa kanya and kampante ako na reliable supplier siya. nakuha ko lang sa kanya is receipt.

but yes, better talaga na makausap mo sila either skype or personal, para malaman mo kung okay ba kayong dalawa and mag sink kayo ng gusto mangyari sa look ng gown mo.

^^ Yes, we have contract. From what I remembered, nakalagay yung # of gowns na gagawin, date ng deliverables, date of measurements, # of fittings and date when. Lahat ng sketch ng gowns pinapirmahan sa akin, may signature din sya. Pati patches of cloth na gagamitin nakasama sa files ko. During measurement, lahat ng ento ko pinapirma sa paper with their measurement. Very professional sya at the same time ok kausap, so comfortable kami sa kanya, meaning pati parents, inlaws at ento ko.

For me, contract is very important kahit gaano pa ko tiwala sa suppliers. Sabi nga ng designer ko protection natin to sa isat isa. Thankfully, lahat ng suppliers ko sila nauuna mag-introduce ng contract, nire-review ko na lang.

sis most bridal salons will let you try on their gowns for free.. Landmark Makati has a bridal section where you can try on their gowns maganda yung yari ng ibang gowns nila and malaki yung fitting room.. then ok din yung suggestion ni sis shygirlme Rosa Clara in greenbelt They have beautiful gowns too... here are a couple of suggestions too:
