1 month before the wedding ang sinabi kong deadline para sa gown ko parang sa Divi lang Reason is gusto ko relax na during wedding month.

when i talked to kristel, sometimes daw there's a final(4th or 5th) fitting pa a month before the wedding, minsan nga daw kahit 2 weeks before! the reason being weight loss. the final weeks daw kasi are a bit stressful, so they sometimes adjust pa the gown.

It depends if your body changes a lot along with your change in lifestyle. Di kasi masyado sa akin, face lang haha

ako kasi, from my first measurements which were taken early april, there was a difference na when i had my first fitting last week. they had to pin in a lot of places kasi ang daming excess fabric.

hindi rin naman ako payat to begin with, so i have pounds to lose talaga.

Ako, hindi kasi mainstream ang designer ko so I guess that's why my measurement-taking (?) is scheduled for August pa.

I'm guessing I'll be getting the gown at least a day earlier because my wedding is out of town.

Hi mga sisses! May mga Soberon brides pa ba dito? Share ko lang update sa gown ko and mga damit namin. Finally natapos na ang measurement-taking namin with my designer. Mag update ulit kami ng measurements sa December then first fitting ko sa January. 2nd fitting sa Feb, and pick-up na ng mga damit sa March 1, which is 2 weeks away from our wedding! Nakaka excite lang knowing na may nasimulan na kami sa mga isusuot namin. Iba talaga yung feeling na confident ka sa designer mo, nasubukan ko na kasi sya nung nag MOH ako sa friend ko.

For those asking about amonn velasco, a friend got him for her wedding. Package inclusive of wedding gown, prep dress, mother's dresses din I think and suit for the groom around 50-60k sorry forgot the exact price. Generally ok naman daw, the suit -2nd fitting hindi daw sinunod ang preferred tela but amonn agree to change/ replace it for no extra cost.  As for the wedding gown, since she wanted specific tela like organza and tulle but was advised na hindi kaya sa budget so she agreed with the tela on hand anyway my friend was happy with the outcome.

^yup, ganda ng gowns ni von. i almost got him pero 70k ang quote nya sakin starting. frou frou skirt kase at beaded top ang gusto ko.

so after researching a bit, i decided to go for mel orlina. i'm happy with my choice. at least nasa budget pa din for my peg frou frou skirt at lace top na. she has shoe embellishment service also included in the package.

^i met with von also. same with you, textured skirt and beaded top, quoted me at 65k ata. i didn't get him as i felt more comfortable with kristel, even if mas expensive pa si kristel. nahirapan din ako pumunta sa studio/house nya, hehe.

Share ko lang yung designer ko, si Melaine Yu. I got my gown 43k with complete accessories. cathedral legnth yung gown tpos 5m na veil. customized yung pillows ko and clutch bag na yung free. may shoes narin na kasama

Gusto ko din yung mala von lazaro na design ng gown. Frou frou skirt with embroidered top with beads. Kaso hindi na kaya ng budget. Kaya kay Kirk Soberon ako. 30k lang yung ganun na design, though 32k yung total nung sa akin kasi nagpadagdag ako ng swarovski crystals.
