Did your dog play with the doormat?  Just give it some chewtoy na hindi naman niya ma-digest as else yun mga tsinelas ninyo and such ay madale. 

Yes, pwede naman yun may zigzag muna gamitin ninyo for the entrance though if you've got plants naman na outside more so next to the door ay it would suffice until you get a replacement.  Critical kasi observe mo muna na baka naman yun aalisan mo ng doormat ay doon lumusot ang malas.

And are you using yun warm/yellow/incandescent lighting lalo na sa may front door area?  That helps a lot in keeping down yun effects ng malas to a place.

Hello Sir CH,

Good morning. I've been to two shrine this morning while doing my morning walk. In the first shrine, I saw a statue of two cats with their right hand raised. I've seen this kind in stores in Manila. I noticed, before they go to the main altar, they first washed their hand for cleansing. Then, before they pray, they ring the gong twice.  After prayer they ring it again then light incense in bundles.  There were also circular wood, with the printed cats, then, they wrote something in the back and hang it under the tree.

The second shrine was bigger and inside it were smaller shrine. They washed their hand first before they went to the main altar. They ring the gong before and after prayer. They also lighted incense in bundles. I noticed that the incense color are different some are pink, green and purple. I dont know what they represent. After the main shrine, they proceed with the smaller shrine. First they drop coins in a house shape thing, then ring the going twice again, then pray.  I noticed that both shrine are full of trees.  I also saw a monk in black clothes.

Ang peaceful po ng pakiramdam pag andun sa loob. Yung nga lang po di ko alam kung pwede pagtagal.

I took photos po pero di ko po alam kung pano share dito.

They sell incense po for 50 yen a bundle, pwede po ba iuwi yun?  Pag po ba hinawakan ko po pa yung tress for gounding gaano po katagal?

Its the smell of blood that such are attracted to thus it is not easy to mask that.  As erratic rin ang chi mo ay that is another aspect that has to be solved.  If you cannot stay away from visiting a wake or attending a burial do try to do it during the day.  To NOT eat any red meat, drink anything with alcohol as well as reduce anything else that creates negative energy.

Wear white at least for the upper garment, no jewelries dapat rin.  You can opt to use sampaguita oil as well as bring fresh sampaguita for the deceased.

That kind of cat statue is of Japanese origin kasi that's why you see that in Japan. 

A thousand thanks for sharing your observations here lalo na sa rituals nila.  Washing of the hands ang isang common thing in many religions. Sa atin nga lang nauwi na to simply yun small basin o such for holy water.  And just as with others ay a gong o bell is rung para nga naman to create a neutral chi for the place and people.

May deep meaning yun why another shrine is inside a shrine

Yun different colors are the same way rin why we have different colors sa Church depende sa event, need, etc.

Alam ko no time limit naman though syempre kapag madilim na you do have to go as the monks have to do their stuff, etc.  Its a place for meditation naman. 

No idea kung bawal or not to bring incense as I've said it has really been a long while since I went abroad.  Not unless its stuff that you cannot buy here best just meditate while you are there.  Kung may prayer beads sila na wood do get some though. 

No generic time limit for grounding oneself sa trees.  It depends all sa iyo.

Try to check other places diyan na of historical value rin.  Para ma-feel mo yun difference ng aura as well as absorb whatever good chi there can be.

Ano po ba ibig sabihin ng cats na ganun? Actually po sobrang hilig nila sa cat, meron po sila ditong cat cafe,  nagbabayad sila para lang makapag alaga ng cat, charge sila per hour.

Pwede po ba kayo share nung meaning ng shrine inside a shrine, pero maintindihan ko po kung its pro na.

May mga artista (pero di ko kilala) din po, pwede po magpapicture sa kanila pero may charge (ridiculous amount). Sorry po kung off topic.

Isa pa po na observe ko, typically yung hotel door sa mga hotel sa atin magkakatapat. Pero yung tinutuluyan ko dito, nagawan nila ng paraan na walang magkatapat na door.  Warm light din po sa room at hallway.  Yung CR and bath, nasa labas po ng room pero strategically located so madali po mapuntahan.

One wierd thing happened to me. Bigla pong nagbukas yung tv ko sa room, eh yung remote control po eh under the tv. Di po nakaprogram yung tv ko.  I prayed Angel of God po and sung Psalm 23.

The cat is part of their culture kasi as remember agriculture is not an easy task sa Japan.  Isang major kalaban nila syempre ay mga daga.  Cats were used to save those crops as else patay sila sa warlord nila as well as when winter comes.

The shrine within a shrine is more of like a vessel to contain and purify the energy even further.  Sa atin it would be where the unleavened bread is placed.

I am not familiar with the do's and dont's sa Shinto temples so you need to ask a guide or monk na lang for that.  And yes, just as in the old days here bawal ipasok ang shoes you've used outside.  Hindi ko alam why that is no longer widely practiced here.

Proper city planning iyan.  When I was there way way back then ay they envy us dahil we had plants kahit sa urban areas.  You can see how this is done sa Singapore and Hong Kong - per what I see via updates online.

Maganda rin yun mix nila ng modern sa old.  Something that should be considered with that horrible and questionable condo built near the Rizal Monument.

Good evening Sir CH. I'm a little bit concern with my dream last night. I really think that it hs something to do with what's happening in my life right now. Just to give you a brief background of what's happening to me.

I resigned from my previous job last year and currently working with the same company with my husband. We're both from a different department and mas ok siya compared sakin. Magulo kasi kami sa amin. So, I tried looking for a new job. May mga Job Offer sakin from another company but I declined because I need a job na fixed Weekends off. So, to make the story short, we attended a seminar about a freelance work and I feel na ito na talaga ang calling ko. Hinulaan kasi ako na before ko daw makuha yung gusto ko e may mga bagay na mag s stop sakin. Last Saturday, hindi na dapat ako natuloy sa Seminar because sobrang sakit ng tiyan ko. Pero dahil pinilit ko e I passed the interview and for training na ako. I really want to resign because I am no longer happy with my current work. And I think that it's the best for me and my family.

So, my dream was hinahabol daw ako. Ilang beses daw ako nag try na  magtago pero hinahabol talaga ako. I never knew the reason why ako hinahabol. Basta yun lang ang nasa panaginip ko. Feeling ko nga e totoo siya.

I just want to know po sana kung ano ang meaning ng hinahabol ka sa dream mo?

Noted.  Wearing white naman does not mean na relative o family member ka ng namatay.  It is a sign of mourning towards a friend or sharing in the sorrows of that someone na related sa deceased.  It is the same when we wear black to go to wakes o burials o even wear ribbons o so.  Its simply for one's protection rin kasi.

For me walang masama if someone thinks I am a relative o family member of the deceased kung mapagkamalan ako if I did go to such.  I would simply correct them and assist them towards who is the representative of the family of the deceased.  Mas lalo na ito when the deceased is of a different religion hence hindi ka sure even what the procedures and such are.

Anyhow, do include the deceased in your prayers as per general rule ay ilang days pa siya dito sa lupa.  By praying for its soul ay hindi siya maging damned soul.

He he.  On the 2nd to the last day of the Ghost Month ay medyo may flu na ako.  Ang masama pa nito ay may event kami to go to the next day.  Ininuman ko na lang ng gamot and took rest but hindi pa rin enough but tuloy pa rin sa event   It was a short one lang naman so as long as I moderate myself I should be able to last through the day which was how it was.

Marami rin trials na maliit lumitaw as that last day came but nalagpasan rin.  Lessons learned ang mga surprises that were given to us during Ghost Month. 

Kaya not just for you but for all of us dapat mas lalo tayong maging handa kapag Ghost Month.  I do hope you get better kasi hindi nga madali for one to be under medication lalo na mahal pa rin ang gamot

Anyone here have any experiences using their violet colored gems?  Again, curious kasi ako on what the effects sa inyo lalo na during Ghost Month.

Maiba lang.  A lot of you may have become victims of malas during Ghost Month.  Remember, I said na anything that can go wrong will go wrong.  To expect the unexpected nga.  Kung sa akin yun 2 percent probability nangyari pa on a Ghost Month ay that can happen to you as well.

Now that the Ghost Month has passed may residual effects pa rin but its not as bad as how it was during GM.  Yun lang nakaka-sad pa rin na some have to really seriously suffer like yun napatay na family driver sa may Manila when all he had was 100 pesos and a packed lunch. 

What one should focus on is to apply the lessons gathered during the first part of this lunar year lalo na ng Ghost Month period.  Dahil may changes na ng energy rin - which is why we have the likes of the Mooncake Festival.  Its to mark a change in seasons as well as in energies.

Horse year tayo so Fire element rules our everyday lives.  Important na hindi tayo sobrang hyper o pessimistic - meaning of the extremes.  Be moderate in wants and needs and let that define our goals and actions.  We have the rest of the next year to realize the fruits of what we sow during this Horse year.

Kaninang madaling araw, around 4am. After prepping my patient's meds pag daan ko ng cr, may nakita ako nakayuko huhu. Napatakbo talaga ako sa nurses' station. Patient is hooked on mechanical ventilator and not responding well. Nagpasa ako sa aide ko to check the cr wala naman tao.. He was up and about pa last Friday, then kahapon na intubate na pala siya. Naawa talaga ako.

Regarding po doon sa manghuhula sakin, sinabihan lang niya ako na may mga bagay na gusto ko mangyari now (which is ang ma promote to have more money) since I already have a growing family. Sabi niya sakin, 2 things will happen. It's either I'll go with the flow and yung gusto ko e makukuha ko or to do something about it and makukuha ko parin ang gusto ko. Both will incur difficulties before ko ma achieve ang mga bagay na yun. I decided to do something and take action para sa mga bagay na gusto ko mangyari. Hopefully, this year kahit na hindi agad agad e makita ko na yung calling ko. Kung ano ba talaga ang gusto kong gawin.

About naman po dun sa dream that's something is bothering me, I think I know kung ano yun. There's this guy kasi na friend siya ng husband ko. I had feelings for him and biglang nag usap na naman kami last week. Turned out that he's currently working sa company na gusto kong pasukan. I'm just bothered because I felt like I am in love with him anymore. But still, I am trying all my best not to think about him. I think it's just an infatuation towards a guy na naging close ko. That's it. That's why I don't want to entertain the feelings sana. Kasi, I'm also confused if he also feel the same way towards me.

update kay offcemate pala humabol siya sa GM month closing,,. nag away na sila ni brother to the point she got black and blue.. i think the brother lost his mind while the current gf watches.. she with her son left their house and even their mother was not spared.. she was also hurt when she was intervening.. nakatikim din ng physical shoving... and their neighbors was updating officemate that even the altar they left was not spared.. nilabas daw ng house yung mga statue and one was even beheaded...i just advised her to do blotter and medico legal.. they had one mediation meeting in the brgy for physical injuries..she was insulted by the gf in front of the brgy people...

nakakatakot the karma that will befall the brother and the current gf..that no amount of the gf family money can pay for..

Do meditate on that direction that you want to be enlightened to.  Maraming opportunities nga kasi talaga but not all lead to success.  Some may even lead to disaster kasi.

Feeling something for someone whom you've been with happens naman.  Its more of curiosity o simply want to experience a different challenge.  Horse year rin sabi ko hindi ba under test ang relationships both sa personal and professional.

I would have it ito muna ang i-meditate mo on.  If weakened ka kasi ay it would only lead to heartaches and headaches - not unless you have a valid reason to get out of your relationship right now.  Maari rin he is radiating an aura that attracts you as it is what you feel can help you.  Hindi kaya ito yun isa sa mga challenges that you have to face?  To be strong despite temptation.

On that note believe me marami pang temptation na ganyan sa future if you choose to rise higher.  A LOT of people use such to gain advantage over others.  Maaring this one is not of that sort pero it is a lesson that would prepare you for such sa future.
