^ Haha can't believe some guys pretend to be a girl even in the forums... I only thought it only exists in the online gaming world... Guys can be so desperate these days... Girls, just tell those types of guys that you're a lady boy and wait for their reaction. Haha ;D

sorry, IRL?

IMO, that's called testing the waters. kung bibigay yung girl sa gusto nila, dun na lang yung meet up. If not, then they'll move on to next target. di sila makakarami kung magaaksaya ng maraming oras sa 1 girl lang. and these days, hindi naman mahirap malaman kung mutual ang feeling.

^^ The feeling of rejection is less felt online than in real life and it's easier/faster to communicate with women. Plus, I think women are more open to men online than in real life. Vhanya, imagine we're in Namba. If I say HI to you, would you HI back to me if you don't know me as opposed to chatting with you first prior to our meeting?  ;)

zeroone, IRL = in real life, so walang plano imeet sila. online lang lahat.

jtansanco, ang kulit mo! haha. i have no issues meeting men in real life kahit di ko pa nakakausap online. ang tanong, papayag ba ako i-meet sila and what do i get if i meet them? hehe

btw, what if the guy is married? mag-iiba ba explanation nyo?

^ IRL!  that's new to me din hehe

Sis, IMHO, online is never a good way to meet the right kind of men.  Pero who am I to say this, as I have known some people na naging successful naman ang relationship nila.  But in this lifetime kasi, feeling ko hindi ako yung tipo na nakukuha ang gusto ko just by sheer luck, parang lahat kelangan ko trabahuhin, so I have concluded dati na online is not for me.

Meeting men in IRL (ayan ginamit ko rin haha) is much better, that is, kung may kilala sa kanya previously. Kasi kakatakot naman mamaya serial killer or something (sabi nila I just watch too much movies, but I would rather be safe than sorry).

Tsaka men are visual beings.  So hindi ako naniniwala na if ever sabihan ka na gusto ka nya, then after nyo magmeet, wala na. Kasi nakita ka na nya?  Parang nagsayang ka lang ng oras online for men na nagtatago behind the computer.

Pero that's the thing. Men are more attractive (at least to me) kung mas may confidence at mas marunong magdala kahit mareject IRL (ayan nagamit ko ulit! hehe)

Worse, does this lead to bed?  Pano kung may aids si girl?

^ I guess flirting online helps build confidence for men in a way. We'll have a perfect example in a few months. Let's just wait for vhanya to reject me when she sees me in Japan and then I will go back hiding behind the computer... HAHAHA.
Re: Aids - I think this is the last thing that guys think about when meeting someone new...

^^ At the end of the day, the men can flirt online all the want. It just depends on the girl if they would want to meet. I've chatted with a lot of women and, most of the time, they're the ones who back out when I ask them to meet up so on to the next chat.

Wala pang sumagot what if the guy flirting is married? What's in it for him if puro online flirting lang? Ego boost? Bored?

Tuwang tuwa kayo sa IRL ah hehe

Married men doing that are just bored. and yes testing the waters if bibigay si girl or not. Its not like they can go out anytime they want and risk being seen outside on a date with other girls. so theyd much rather login to their accts online and flirt away. if may kakakagat na girl sa bait nila, set a date, the guy will make excuses sa wife, para paraan, then, boom! ayun na, the guy got what he wanted, hassle free SEB. haha. then move on to the next target.

grabe im making it seem like guys are all jerks.

well this is very very common IRL, hehe makiki IRL din ako haha :) married men flirting online with girls, very rampant. sa office nalang, if not most, id say ALL of them.

^^^ Same with what Jonduh said. GT is not like a social networking site where other people have access to your pictures or background information so guys can use sites like these to hunt women. Most women will not fall for it but the probability of hooking up is not 0% so guys will still find the women who will. Either way, it's discreet here.

Do they really think they can get girls here who are dumb enough to fall for their bulok style? Bakit hindi sa mga walk sites sila maghanap? Hehe. Eto seryosong tanong hahaha

walang mangingisda kung wala or kokonti ang isda *bow* supply and demand lang yan  ;D and just to be fair, merong girls who are actually (directly and indirectly) soliciting for sex here. and this is NO BS! a girl asked me to have a threesome with her and bf/hubby niya (can't remember). she's not my type though, i declined.

Too much drama and conflicting personalities in PEX.

Lol, I already forgot I have my FB here but I like having an identity when I post. Since I can't put a profile pic no matter what I do, might as well put something. And for me, it's always good to know who you're communicating to and not talk to an imaginary blank person on the screen.

Uhm,.. we're probably getting way over our head here. So let me cite an example.
Say I'm a not so good looking guy, or torpe, or chubby. But I'm witty, funny and you'll never have a dull moment. And you're oh, so hot! Let's face it, no woman would be interested "right away" with said features. Best if I approach you, I'd be friend-zoned.

Online dating or social media has somehow leveled the playing field. I can chat with you and put my best foot forward. You'll probably be interested then, and decide to meet. Online chat or flirt is also a great way to find your common interests and differences.

Flirting doesn;t favor just the players, it favors all. Whatever it leads to between the two, it's both their choice. Even if it leads to having sex, hopefully not AIDS.

I retired long before i got married. my wife and I, we're bf/gf for 10 years. Married for 3 years. Was always a cheater. It just hit me that I'm tired of the game. I compliment, flirt, but no meet ups. Can't even find time for my self, mostly spent with kids. LOL.

maybe, gusto nila malaman kung may dating pa ba sila sa girls? kung kumakagat or mabenta pa ba mga styles nila. kaya online kasi mas magkakasala sila pag ginawa nila IRL.

possibly. but one can only speculate.

Interesting. You're 30 right? So you retired before you turned 27, just when most guys are at the height of their game. Those who usually retire kasi are in their 40-50s na.

So why did you get tired in your 20s? And what can you say about the adage "once a cheater, always a cheater?"

well, some people come out of retirement.. LOL I probably would, if I could. no pretentions.
I started early, been earning my own money since I was 17, thanks to Jollibee. I can take girls out, flaunt and buy flowers. Thankfully, I have my ways without spending too much. I was at my prime when I was in college. Studied at Recto, too many girls, so little time. Cheated on my wife so many times before we got married. Caught a few times, denied them 'till death. Women ask "how can you hurt someone you love?" We will hurt someone we love at some point in time, just in different ways.

You probably know a lot of married guys who cheat, I can too if I would. But can't risk my wife leaving with my kids, love them too much, Won't let them grow up with parents separated. Not gonna lie though that if there's a slightest chance, I;d probably risk it, I'll cross the bridge when I get there.

Got friends who cheat on their wives. They do it for fun. it;s like adrenaline rush, can;t sedate yourself until you get some. But they love their wives. It's not fair of course. But it is how it is. They have their reasons.

IMO, most men are loyal and good men. Cheaters are the "exceptions". Good and honest men, they're the ideal men in the ideal world but mostly boring. They live a linear life.

"once a cheater, always a cheater?"

No basis at all. Great and honest husbands can cheat too. Your husband may be cheating on you (if you;re married or bf, dunno) What you don;t know won't hurt you. Better ask yourself how well you can tolerate pain.

GOt a question for all girltalkers, when a husband or BF cheats, why do some ask "why?" instead of just walking away? Doe any of you think there's a valid reason for doing it?

If ever I catch my husband cheating on me, I'd walk away. No questions asked. I can take care of myself.

It's different I think if you have kids coz you have to take them into consideration. I will cross the bidge when I get there =)
