Guys, I just dont understand my ex. We broke up for the nth time after being together for 3 years. He said he didn't care and never contacted me for 3 months. After 3 months, he send me my fave stuff (he is based abroad). So I have no choice but to text and thank him. Birthday gift daw niya then that's it.

After a month text na naman saying he misses me. Sabi ko friends na lang kami cause I dont want any more dramas (his exact words everytime we fight nung kami pa). He said sure. But did not stopped texting me goodnight every now and then. Recently he sent me stuff again.

What I dont understand is why ang tagal nyo magisip kung babalikan nyo ang girl? I have moved on already kasi. Nakakaawa tuloy.

^napansin ko rin sa boys yung ganyan.

i have a theory.
maybe they just needed space, nun nakuha na nila, inenjoy muna, tried hitting on other girls. Nung di nagwork, bigla ka namiss, paramdam ulit.

Or medyo naging busy with stuff na hindi nila masyado naasikaso nung kayo pa, then after some time, narealize nilang namimiss nila yung girl, paramdam ulit.

I think most guys are gaya ng diniscribe mo. But I still believe that there are guys who really can love you for who you are.  It is not about the chasing, but it is about compatibility, nag eenjoy kayo sa company ng isa't isa and that is all that matters.  Walang naghahabol kahit kanino, patas lang ang efforts ng dalawa as both make it a point to spend time with the other.

sa nabanggit naman ni jtansanco, maybe chasing is just sa umpisa. pero naman alangan naman you spend your whole life chasing for your spouse? di ba?

Iyan ang problem with guys who are not mature enough and "unsure" on what they want.

But sis ILJ, good for you that you have moved on.  Tough for him, kasi sya naman ang hindi maka move on. Pagsisihan nalang nya.

Pagtyatyagaan ko ba ang insecure just because I have a strong personality?  Watchatink?

Kung ako, hindi, no way.

That's the thing eh, for guys it's really the chase. Sa tingin ko mas nagiging successful ang partnership if both parties hindi nagiging kampante -- doesnt mean one has to always be on their toes, but yung part na lagi pa ding nagliligawan, which makes you always want to do and be your best for your partner. Aminin man natin at hindi, pero that's how men are eh. They love to chase.

^ Cuz guys in general don't like being "wrong" or I think it's like that for everyone. Accepting guilt is just no so manly..

So sa tingin nyo kaming girls payag sa the one being wrong? hahaha. Sabagay submissive kasi kami pero unfair ha!  :P

i have a question for guys:

why are boys sonattracted to girls they cant have? i mean, they sort of put these girls on a pedestal and daydream about her all day long and regard as their dream girl slash perfect girl. its like their adoration and reverence is of another level.

connected to this, why do guys tend to love girls "more" kapag hindi sila ganon kamahal ng babae? when the girl is obviously hands down so inlove and so smitten sa guy, the guy would exert so little effort na lang to show the love. but when the girl is a little more independent and not so showy sa affection, the guy would act alot sweet and thoughtful.

is that how it really should be? hayaan ang lalake mageffort at magsumamo? tas si girl chill lang?

although i know its supposed to be a give and take scenario, or yung balanced lang. But ive seen this happen and still see this happening alot around me. When the girl is not so sweet and malambing, mas mahal siya ng lalake at mas maeffort and all.

^^ Not really.. It's just in our nature to "defend" ourselves if we feel "attacked" in some way. :)

Here's the thing... We chase the girl that we can't have (dream girl) but, most of the time, we'll spend the rest of our lives with the girl that we can have (common girl). We just want to enjoy the chasing part first before we come back to reality. Haha ;)

posible ba madevelop ang isang guy sa girl na hindi niya type? for example, platonic friends sila. then after some years, na-fall na siya dun sa girl. nangyayari ba sa guy yun? o kailangan unang tingin niya pa lang sa girl dapat type na niya para mahalin niya?

^ not all the time.

There are some guys that get smitten by a girl who they were not attracted to initially.

Kasi tinanong ko dati yung couple friend ko - paano naging kayo. Then the guy said di nga nya napansin nung una, pero one time sinundo nya yung girl (kasi makiki hitch lang naman yung girl) para punta sila sa party. Tapos nakaayos yung girl, dun nya napansin yung girl hehe  Nung nag ayos.  ;D

So puede naman magustuhan ka ng guy later, not initially.

^^ What GirlTalker2 said could be true but not for me. If I don't like you the first time around, chances are I don't see you in my radar at all. My mind is programmed to have a "crush at first sight" OR I can see if a girl is a "hidden gem" like her even though she's not initially my type but I still find "something" in her intriguing. But then again, to each his own.

^ alam mo puedeng nagl-lie din yung guy na tinanong ko, kasi nung "friends" palang kami lahat sa school, may GF yung guy. kaya siguro "hindi nya napapansin" yung gf (wife) nya now.  then nung nagbreak sila nung then GF nya, tsaka nya DAW "napansin" itong friend namin hehe

Same tayo. Nakamove on na't lahat tsaka sila biglang babalik. I really don't believe in second chances kaya ako wala ng looking back  8)

Eto medyo lighter observation and question for the guys. I noticed that some men (including my brother, my bf, and some of my male friends and officemates, and sometimes even my dad) do not like to ask for directions, be it on the road or even sa mall (while looking for shops/resto). Not that I'm pissed with the behavior, nakakatawa lang minsan na kailangan muna mawala or maligaw bago magtanong. Is there something sa pagtatanong na ikinahihiya nyo? Just curious...  :D

HALA napansin ko din yan, feeling ko ayaw nila admitin sa self nila na they need "help" or "assistance" with something.

another question. could guys flirt with girls they don't find attractive? i know flirting is not a sure sign that a guy likes a girl. but could it be a sign that he finds her cute or beautiful?

when i say flirt, i mean when he is sweet and nice to her and also when he jokes a lot with her. parang flirt pero in a friendly way pa din.

^ in my opinion, yes.

Kahit sinong "available", puede nya patulan, that is, kung malandi talaga yung guy.
