proceed or not? suggestions, opinions.

Hi .

Help? Mag 4th year Accounting Technology student na kasi ako sa june. One year na Lang, graduate na din ako.

Original plan ko kasi talaga after I graduate, hanap agad ng work. Pero Im having second thoughts. Mas okay daw sa career pag may CPA license.

Pero pag nag work naman ako, ,  by that time, meron na din akong 2years experience compared sa kakagraduate pa lang or kakakuha pa lang ng license.

Iassume na lang natin na makapag-CPA talaga ako kung sakali. .

Mas mabilis ba career growth pagfresh graduate+CPA  versus accounting technology student lang pero with 2years experience na.

Mahahabol ba?

Kahit anong input lang.
Wala ako masyadong mapapagtanungan sa real life about nito. Kulang pa talaga sa experience.
Hindi naman masyadong nagshashare yung teachers about career/job. . .so on.

kaw lang makakasagot nyan sa sarili mo IMO and based on experience nag take ako board exam for broad opportunity an since yun talaga gusto mo may iba naman hindi na nagtetake ng license kasi okay ang suweldo mas malaki pa sa mga licensed jot down the pros and cons and from dun mag decide ka

Sis eto lang. My mom lacked 1 sem for her to graduate. Ilang units na lang yun? Hindi natapos because she got pregnant. She's a successful one though. But everytime she'd see acquaintances or batchmates, she would often tell with regrets and frustration, yes i am successful. I get paid better. But if i was a board passer, im sure i a more than successful of who am i today.

Not all board passers land a good job and company and vice versa kasi yung iba maswerte lang. Pero sis, come to think of what you could have been better i you are a board passer? Kung hindi naman kelangan for you to work agad why not take it? And kahit work ka pwede ka pa din naman mag work imo.

Take the CPA board exam:)

My eldest sister is a CPA and sobrang ganda ng work nya it seemed like she never had a less than best na work opportunity, she's been working for more or less 11 years na yata and managerial level na sya ngayon. Maganda ang opportunities ng may license, my cousin who's also a CPA (2012 yata sya nagboards if im not mistaken) is also doing very well professionally and financially. Toxic ang work yes pero very well compensated naman.

Of course hindi lang license ang puhunan (my sister graduated with honors in college), pero it definitely is an advantage. Yung work experience kase, makukuha mo naman yun eventually. I mean, anyone can have a 2-yr work experience. Pero if may license ka, a 2-yr work experience will be more valuable.

go for the exam. it's hard to go back to that focused student mode after you've been working for awhile.

depende naman yun sa skill set mo e may mga work na nagaaccept ng fresh grad tsaka lahat naman talaga nagsisimula sa pgiging fresh grad e

Take the exam na lang muna sis, pwedi ka naman mag apply anytime eh mas maganda yun lalo pag board passer ka dagdag credentials din.
