And for summer, I bring my sandwich kapag nag wawalking sa park or strolling sa downtown. I usually eat sa park while reading a book or watching a downloaded movie on Netflix. Tipid kaysa magdine-out or watch sa Cinema.

Hahaha! Diba?!

Pangsmoothie at shakes!

Buying off season clothing. For instance, summer clothing is on sale these nowadays and I buy my winter needs in the Spring. They sell it for as much as 80% off.

There were times na nababagot ako dahil walang social life. May amigas pero anglalayo naman. Sa chat lang nakakausap. Minsan dinededma pa ako. Kaya most of the time sa bahay lang ako while naghihintay sa mga bata..

Pero mga sis, sa ganung lifestyle, hindi ko akalain na makakasave ako nang malaki at umabot ang savings ko ng Php 200k+ in more or less than 1year. And take note, nakaipon ako ng ganun halaga nang hindi ko nalalaman. Nung isang gabi ko lang nalaman na may ganun na akong pera in an odd and rare way.. Pano nangyari? Ikekwento ko na lang sa isang thread. Til now di pa rin ako makaget over. So aside from my intentional/force savings, mayron akong 200k unintentional savings.. Kaloka no?? 😄

Same!!

So tinry ko i-cut. Aba pwede naman pala.

eversince i started working, i live by this formula when handling money... expense=income-savings, in this way, i always always have a monthly savings, target is 50% lagi...

when enough cash on hand na, automatic buy stocks, etfs, mutual funds... have both trading account abroad and pinas...

it really pays to educate yourself financially as soon as you start earning so you can maximize growth of your savings at a young age...

also, always live below your means, increase in salary doesnt mean increase in lifestyle.. be consistent in lifestyle regardless of how much additional money you make

I so agree "increase in salary doesnt mean increase in lifestyle.. be consistent in lifestyle regardless of how much additional money you make."

This is what I believe in also. Never change the lifestyle that you had even if the salary increases. But it always good to at least treat yourself once in a while for all the hardwork. :)

1. Wag makipag sabayan, live within your means, magluho lang tuwing bonus. :D

I strictly save 20% of my salary per cut off. Bukod dun, I have this small alkansya sa office at bahay kung san hinuhulog ko yung mga 50 and 200 bills na nasusukli saken.

I was able to save 54k last year kaka hulog lang sa mga alkansya na yun. Back to zero yung mga alkansya ko nung January.
