Hello everyone!

I'm not sure if dito dapat to but still...

Please enlighten me on this. My mother was hospitalized and went through total hysterectomy procedure (TAHBSO) last January. When I settled our bill, a Philhealth representative in the hospital assessed that Php 18,000 will be deducted from our bill. Just yesterday, I received the benefit payment notice and learned that the amount Philhealth reimbursed to the hospital is Php 53,400.

Provided that 40% goes to PF and 60% goes to facility, aren't we supposed to get 32,040 instead of just 18,000? I want to know your opinion before going to the hospital to ask about this.

Yes sis ang package na na-assess sa amin is yung sa hysterectomy which is php 30k and 60% of it is Php 18k kaya yun ang binawas sa bill namin.

I went to the hospital kanina and indeed, may refund pa kami kasi philhealth upgraded my mother's case. Unfortunately, it isn't as much as I expected. Kasi 60% of 53400 is 32,040 less 18k na na-avail na namin nung bill out so dapat 14040 pa refund namin from the hospital.

But the one incharge sa billing and collection said that mas malaki daw makukuha ng doctor kaysa sa amin. I don't know why. So instead of 14040 na makukuha namin as additional benefit, 6k na lang daw. Almost 55% ang napunta sa doctor.

Ok na rin yun kesa sa wala.

'Yung bagong rates daw kasi ng PhilHealth, overall na, hindi kagaya ng dati na iba 'yung deduction sa doctor, hospital, etc. Ngayon kung magkano daw ang binayaran ng PhilHealth sa hospital, 'yun mismo ang discount sa inyo dahil kasama na dun ang doctors' fee etc.

What do you mean sis? Example if 30k ang claim sa case ng mom ko dapat 30k ang mababawas sa bill namin? Not 60% of 30k like before?

Buti pa sa company nyo may seminar ng philhealth. sa amin wala eh..
