Girls, I'm planning to get Bellevue Alabang for preps

2 nights Junior Suite (1br suite) for the Bride. Dito na din kami ni h2b after wedding.
2 nights Deluxe Room for the Groom. Dito ko na lang pag-sleep over siblings ko after wedding.

We plan to get extra room for our parents also. Ang gastos pala pati sa preps.

Any comments sa rooms ng Bellevue Alabang?

our wedding will be on october 2016. church will be in makati while reception naman at taguig.
thinking of getting ascott bgc or fraser residences (makati) both serviced apartments. perhaps cheaper and mas madali magdala ng outside food (baka lang kasama ito sa deciding factor)

reese17: You're right! Not my problem anymore, haha. Besides, I personally want more picture with my entourage sa room while preparing and all.

marbleslice: Got the 2-bedroom suite for myself and my family of 4. Thinking though if I should upgrade to a 3-bedroom one H2B got the 1-bedroom for himself as his family is doing a separate booking since they're not yet sure how many rooms they'll need. My other choices were Discovery Primea and Aruga, didn't get to check Fraser Residences. You can check out Picasso in Makati also.

I asked my photographer about Marco Polo, sabi ni Jayjay of Chestknots medyo madilim daw dun kaya hanap ulit ako ng iba. Sana kasi hindi na ulit super strict sa Eastwood Richmonde. Eto kasi pinakamalapit na hotel sa church ko.

I had my wedding last Jan 11 and I was supposed to get Bellevue Alabang for my preps but decided to get Acacia Hotels Manila instead.  D naman kasi nagsisi kasi maganda naman, we got the Junior Suite which is very ideal for wedding preps. At maraming magandang areas for pictorials. BTW, they do charge 10k for the photoshoot fee pero i think you can negotiate.

marbleslice, Fraser is super old na and not good for photos you're better off at Ascott.

Cee05 and reese17 thanks for your responses! Baka eliminate ko na ang Fraser from my options! Probably considered it coz one of my officemates had her wedding preps there but that was way back 2013 pa. Hehe. At least Ascott BGC is bago pa ang look and hindi gaano kalayo from NSSH. i registered online for cheaper rates!

hermoine28: You can ask for late checkout, which they usually naman allow or if ever you're going to stay at the same hotel after your wedding, you can ask someone to consolidate your stuff in just 1 room (either the bride's room or the groom's.) I plan to prepare 2 bags, 1 of which has my "after wedding" stuff, which will be with H2B na when he checks in para hindi na rin magulo who'll bring it and whatnot. The other bag naman will be brought home by my parents/ whoever

Cee05, if your photographer and videographer are good, di na mapapansin yung Abenson and the construction! Mine were able to get shots of the hotel without those na eh. I think they shot from a different angle...not from 5th ave.

Hermione28, just get a bridal suite for 2 nights and 1 room na overnight for the groom. That can be the place where you'll sleep over the night before and where your preps suppliers will station themselves. Then you and your groom can stay there on the night of the wedding. Ask for a late checkout nalang on the overnight room. Usually a reputable hotel will accommodate that without any extra charge. Ascott allowed my parents to extend until 2 PM.

nabawasan ng 1 room pero parang mahal pa din. hehe.

^sis, what I did before was to book yung 2 bedroom suite (bride) for 1 night and 1 bedroom suite (groom) for 2 nights. Nung malapit na kami umalis papuntang church, kinuha na ng mga coordinator yung gamit namin sa room ko then nilipat sa room ni groom. Then dun na rin kami natulog after ng wedding.

Pinayagan rin kami mag-late checkout noon kaso di ko na maalala what time kami nag-out. Church ko pala before was CTK then hotel was Astoria.

^^ Though parang too much naman yung 2-bedroom suite for your wedding night? You might want to consider getting a 1-bedroom nalang rin.

chocnats - CTK din ako sis. how was Astoria ok ba? Takot kasi ako sa late check out baka icharge kame ng mahal.

Cee05 - sis kasi big family si H2B, don daw sila mag stay lahat the night before the wedding. Kaya pati si groom 2 bedroom.

Kung ganito

2 bedroom (bride's room) 1 night
2 bedroom (groom's room) 1 night
Then check out both rooms. Check in ng Deluxe Room.

Hindi ba hassle to?

^ Sis, what if for your H2B, they book two separate (but magkatabi) rooms & not a 2-br suite? Para you can transfer your stuff into his room & that's what you guys can use after? For me, mas important siguro naka suite yung girl 'coz most of the suppliers will be there. But of course, I don't want to meddle with family plans if they really want a suite for their family. Mas hassle yung check-out both but I guess you can ask someone to do that for you? Or maybe you can ask the hotel to do it for you? I'm sure they've encountered such requests/ situations already!

^Okay ang Astoria sis. Malalaki yung rooms! And I guess normal rin sa kanila marequestan ng late checkout since popular siya for weddings. I remember nga, may nakasalubong pa akong bride rin nung wedding day ko. Nagkakitaan kami sa elevator. haha.

My only complaints is siguro ang bagal ng elevator nila doon. Since Saturday ang wedding ko, marami kaming kasabay na weddings doon so hantayan kami sa elevator. Fault ko rin na di same floor ang rooms namin ng groom ko noon kaya ayun, ang tagal magpalipat-lipat ng rooms ang mga suppliers since naghahantayan sa elevator. So better talaga to request na same floor ang rooms niyo.

I think mas reasonable na 3 rooms na lang ibook? 1 for bride, 1 for groom and 1 for family. Para at least after ng wedding, diretso na kayo sa room. No need to check in ulit. PRomise, pagod na rin kasi kayo after ng wedding so gugustuhin niyong matulog na agad. haha.

sa Oakwood kasi ako nag babased. umaabot ng 37k yung hotel! ang mahal mahal naman! hehe.

We did but hindi lahat kasi medyu strict sila. they  have cafeteria naman where you can leave your food and the suppliers can just go down and eat. yung pinaakyat ko kunti lang (patakas actually hehe) for the immediate family members.
