ako naman nag booked sa Richmonde Ortigas kase nga mahigpit sa Richmonde Eastwood so nag ortigas ako... hindi naman din kami natraffic 2:30 ang ceremony ang aga pa namin nakarating sa OLA... take note walang restriction:) wala din fee ang photoshoot:) hindi rin bawal magdala ng food:) kaya ok na din:)

Hi sis iamdettie, some hotels require a pre-nup conforme para makapagshoot din kayo anywhere in the hotel. This fee ranges from 3k-15k depending on your hotel.

About sa food po, I suggest you ask your hotel about this kasi some hotels are strict when it comes to food. These are two of the questions I usually ask when we do hotel oculars. Mahal din kasi if sa hotel itself pa kami mag-order ng food.

after months of waiting, we finally got the membership rates of Manila Pen for 2016. buti na lang halos walang difference from the 2015 rate or else balewala ang pagkuha at paghintay namin ng Pen Card. so glad we can move on from this!

Hmmm... If you're planning to invite your family and entou to come for pictorials, then I think 1br suite would be a bit cramped. What we did was we got 3 1br suites - 1 for the bride, 1 for the groom and 1 for the entou. Okay din if you get a 2br suite. The only reason we didn't was that we thought that a 2br suite would be too big for only the 2 of us after the wedding. Hehe!

^Yes, my entou's make-up was done in their room Then some of them would just come and visit my room. They also went to my room for pictorials.

H2B and I are still looking for a hotel for our preps. Wedding is on Oct 15, 2016 at Santuario de San Jose.

So far ito yung mga rinecommend sa amin ng OTD: Oakwood, Crowne Plaza, Discovery and Marco Polo.

Any sisses who have stayed in the mentioned hotels for preps?

May tips ba kayo to get the best rates?

Oakwood din sabi saken ng coordinator ko. Ang mahal mahal naman eh! I want sana 2 bedroom suite.

Linden pa din talaga pinaka mura, 3 bedroom pa. Kaso don na yung sis ko. Same kame ng photos. Ayoko sana hanggat possible.

@ hermione28 Sa Linden kami nakabook Sis. Wedding Prep Package plus 3D2N "Honeymoon Staycation". OK ba naman experience nyo don nung wedding ng kapatid mo?
Ang selling point samin nung AE e yung scene from "A Second Chance". Saktong-sakto naman manonood kami ni H2B that time, haha.

Mga sis, check Hotel deals sa Deal Grocer, madalas may Oakwood deals baka pwedeng magamit for wedding preps.

raspberi - no hassle nung wedding ng sis ko, except sa access card, which you need sa elevator. So lahat ng aakyat susunduin mo, pabalik balik pa naman yung mga suppliers. Since 3 bedroom yun, 3 naman yata yung access cards tapos madaming taong pwede usutusan, nandon yung mga cousin namen nauutusan naman sila pag may susunduin sa baba, pati coordinators. So ok naman, di naman namen naging problem yun.

And ok din yung room sobrang laki! As in hindi naging crowded kahit madaming tao. naku sis napaka rami palang dumadating lalo na pag nandyan na yung photo and video team ang dami nila! Coordinators 5 din yata.

Ayoko kasi sana ng same kame ng photos ni sis. tapos 50th birthday ng Mom ko don din kame nag party. same mga pictures haha.  favorite namen don ang luwag kasi tapos cheaper sya from other 4 star hotels.

Ended up choosing Ascott BGC na for my hotel preps 'coz of the location & the rooms are quite big! Staff was super nice pa when we did the ocular. Thank you sis reese17 for the recommendation/ needed nudge, haha

^ Great to hear Cee05 and you're welcome Ask for a corner unit and make sure your living room has a mirror ha! Mine didn't kasi so I had to ask for one to be brought up pa.

Mga sis ask ko lang. ilang nights ang kinukuha nyo?

Kasi 3:30pm wedding kame, so most probably mga 2:30pm pa alis ng lahat from hotel to church. E diba ang check out ng hotel 12pm? Pano yun? so dapat 2 nights?

2 nights bride's room, 2 night groom's room?

Ang gastos yata. 2 bedroom pa naman kukunin namen kasi masikip kapag deluxe or 1 bedroom lang.

reese17: I'll clarify my booking with Ascott. Nakakatuwa nga eh, the front desk clerk pa said to book online 'coz it's cheaper. Super good vibes talaga My only 'issue', albeit a small one, is the Abenson sign pero other than that, I'm super happy with it!

hermoine28: You can ask for late checkout, which they usually naman allow or if ever you're going to stay at the same hotel after your wedding, you can ask someone to consolidate your stuff in just 1 room (either the bride's room or the groom's.) I plan to prepare 2 bags, 1 of which has my "after wedding" stuff, which will be with H2B na when he checks in para hindi na rin magulo who'll bring it and whatnot. The other bag naman will be brought home by my parents/ whoever

^^we got 2 rooms for overnight for the preps then 1 room after the wedding. late checkout ako sa bridal suite (2pm ako nagout) then early checkin sa room na gagamitin namin after the wedding (12pm palang pinacheck in na kami so na transfer na mg gamit don.)

Cee05, if your photographer and videographer are good, di na mapapansin yung Abenson and the construction! Mine were able to get shots of the hotel without those na eh. I think they shot from a different angle...not from 5th ave.

Hermione28, just get a bridal suite for 2 nights and 1 room na overnight for the groom. That can be the place where you'll sleep over the night before and where your preps suppliers will station themselves. Then you and your groom can stay there on the night of the wedding. Ask for a late checkout nalang on the overnight room. Usually a reputable hotel will accommodate that without any extra charge. Ascott allowed my parents to extend until 2 PM.
