oo sis. same rate lang pero magkaiba talaga noh. mukang designed talaga para sa bride yung mahaba.. pang groom naman talaga yung isa. sinadya namin puntahan kahit after work kasi wala man lang kami naaccomplish para sa wedding sa loob ng 2 weeks. kahit hotel man lang mai-book. hehe.

nung day before wedding nyo sis, ilan kayong nag overnight? namomonitor pa ba nila kung ilan ang natulog?

oo sis mas maganda yung 1 penthouse, mas malaki sala e. dun din ako haha. si groom yung sa 1. sa room ko sis, 4 kame:) kina hubby naman, 2 sila ng mom nya saka me 2 kids:) di naman kami siningil after magcheck out. check mo yung A/C sa mas malaking penthouse ha? nung time kasi na nagbook kami, mahina yung sa bedroom, sa sala lang malakas. naka ilang tawag ako nun pero di rin ganon naadjust.

Sis, CTK is near Eastwood so you'll be fine. Uhm... I think I allotted 30 minutes to be safe. I can't remember what time we left the hotel and what time we arrived in CTK though. My OTD did the timeline for us. Try to go to Oakwood then to Eastwood on a Saturday (but don't do it this December as traffic is horrendous these days) so you can better estimate travel time.

Has anyone tried Discovery Primea, Aruga or Ascott BGC? Any feedback?

^ I booked at Ascott BGC. Good service and the rooms are really spacious and new! They aren't strict with food or number of people in your room. I got a 1-br suite which had a connecting room (studio) where my parents stayed. My suppliers were able to fit comfortably naman in the living area of the 1-br.

In terms of pricing, Ascott is a little more expensive but if you sign up online you can get certain discounts as an online member. I think I was able to slash off Php 5k from my total booking.

^Thank you! Actually, Ascott yata would be my best option (with Discovery) 'coz I'll just be at SSA pero negligible difference naman in case sobrang mas maganda yung ibang hotels.

Any recommendations for affordable makeup prep lang. Baptism and 1st birthday kasi ng son ko around qc. Khit di masyadong spacious and allows late check out time at 2pm.

Just want to share our booked wedding preps hotel in Q.C.: b Hotel (under the management of Bellevue Hotel). It's fairly new since kaka-open pa lang nila on August 26. Industrial themed and the rooms are spacious! We ended up booking it for our Reception venue as well

Hi girls, need advice po sana. Our wedding venue is in Roosevelt, QC and we're looking for an affordable hotel for preps along quezon avenue, mother ignacia, timog, or south triangle. Any recommendations kung ano po ang ok na mga hotel dito, anong usual budget and ilang rooms po ba usually ang kukunin and do we need to book two nights po ba? The wedding po kase will happen at 5:30 pm, pero my problem is, if we check in the night before, we would have to check out of the hotel on wedding day by 12 noon! Sobrang aga pa po at baka mabilad ang participants sa kakahinta. Kung magcheck in naman kame on actual wedding day...then we have to do this by 2 PM diba...so 3 hours lang ang magugugol sa preps! Sobrang naguguluhan na po kame ni fiancee. Would love to hear how you did it and kung may similar po bang situation sa amin. Thanks!

^ Hi sis! Regarding sa time, most hotels nire-require nila 2nights pag ganyan ang ceremony time.
For others naman, they can adjust the check-out time as long as they can accommodate. Minsan ina-allow nila lalo na pag walang naka-book for the next day, or sometimes they will charge you nalang for the additional hrs. Possible 'to pag hindi strict ang hotels and lean season. If meron kana target hotel, better isa to sa mga i-highlight mo in your inquiries.

Yup, I did an ocular! They're really accommodating and a lot of couples book na for weddings with Ascott. I told them na we're going to have preps and the only prerequisite was that my P/V team had to submit a form.

Hi awesomecakes. Bayleaf hotel yata yun near intramuros. If i got the name right. Dun kase nag stay ang cousin ko sa wedding nila held at la castellana.

Budget wise, depende sa number of guests and suppliers arriving at the hotel that day. To give you an idea, i booked the 2BR suite for 1 night at eastwood richmonde for 15,400--that's for myself and family. We booked 1 BR suite for 2 nights for hubby and his parents, that was 8k per night.  Then another room for my entourage at around 5k for 1 night too. We used it as our holding bay for entourage waiting for their turn for make up. We booked the rooms through agoda.com & paid in aud instead of php.

Any feedback with Marco Polo Ortigas? Hindi ba sila strict like Richmonde? Sa Eastwood kasi yung wedding ko and okay sana yung location ng Richmonde pero ang dami kasing nega na feedback about them sa mga suppliers.

When is your wedding? I think some hotels are offering up to 40% discount if you book early (reservation fee required before December 31, 2015)

We may try to check the three hotels we visited last week for ocular:

1. Meranti Hotel - offers 40% off published rate if booked before December 31, 2015. Requires 50% downpayment of total bill. Has a "shooting fee" of 3,500 which will be waived if you book 5 nights worth of rooms. Very accommodating the staff although parang limited ang shooting locations.

2. Cocoon Boutique Hotel - offers 30% off published rate if booked before December 31, 2015. Requires 50% downpayment of total bill. Pre-nup conforme or shooting fee of 8,000 (ang steep lang ) Hindi kami nakapag-ocular, busy daw sila (nye, eh potential clients kaya kami. lol) pero maganda ang lobby.

3. b Hotel - still under soft opening. 30% off if booked until December 31, 2015, Full payment required to save the date. Has a shooting fee of 5,000 (free if you get their wedding package). The ambience of the hotel is industrial. The rooms are very spacious. The duty manager was so accommodating, siya pa talaga ang nag-ocular sa amin considering we didn't set an appointment and just walked-in.

My wedding is at 2PM, we booked in b Hotel: one superior room for one night (groom's place) and the one bedroom suite for two nights (bridal suite). Two nights ang room ko para after they check out of the superior room they can transfer all the stuff in my room. But we're still thinking of booking two more rooms for after the wedding for our parents since naka-soft opening pa ang price.

you might want to check out oakwood ortigas. they have an early bird rate up thats waaaay cheaper than richmonde rates! their rooms are also bigger and look grander. to avail, you have to pay by dec 31 2015.

Hello Mga Sis,

A January 2016 bride here, I booked 2 Junior Suite in Acacia hotel in Alabang for me and my groom. And yesterday I was told that there is a 10k fee for doing a photo shoot. Is this true? Are they really charging for this? Also, for the lunch meals, can we possibly bring packed lunch during the preparations?

I am hoping to hear your experiences regarding this. Thanks Sissies
