we booked Summit Hotel Magnolia for our wedding and ang laki talaga ng natipid namin sa kanila and they're very near our venue pa.

Sis, sa Oasis Manila ka nag reception right?

Tanong ko lang sana kung spacious ba yung rooms dito sa Summit Hotel Magnolia and kung meron bang parang garden or area na pwede mag-photo/video before nung ceremonies?

Also, any recommendations for hotels near Santuario de San Jose?

My cousin is getting married in May sa Tagaytay. Di ako sure which Church, but I'm sure it's going to be a beautiful wedding kasi Tagaytay is such a romantic place. It's going to be my first time to witness a Tagaytay wedding, so super excited ako.

I had a nephew who got married in Tagaytay some three years ago, but di ako naka-attend noon. I missed out on that one, but I'm sure going to witness my cousin's wedding. Sure ako that it will be beautiful and dramatic.

I hope makapili na sila ng Church at the soonest time so they can start their preparations na. Hehe. Parang ako yung ikakasal kasi ako ang excited!-☺

sis szne09, yes sis sa oasis kame pati ceremony.

since boutique hotel yung summit, nasa 50+ sqm lang yung suites nila pero di naman namin kailangan ng sobrang laking space dahil immediate family ko lang yung may need ng room.

unfortunately, wala pa silang area na parang garden/pool for shoots. kaso sa laki ng natipid namin sa kanila we were willing to compromise that.

sa may greeenhills yan sis di ba? i think mas maraming ok na choices sa may ortigas area. sorry sis wala akong masusuggest kase di na umabot yung pagca-canvass namin dun.

Nainis ako sa hotel na nasa Matalino. I mean, how could they not know that they have really cheap rates on their website, and charge me almost the double of their suite? Napaka sarcastic pa ng kausap ko sa phone. And they're not asking for a cheap DP ha - 10k is a huge amount.

Ended up booking B Hotel. Super kudos for the low DP, the nice rooms, and the HUGE suites!!

Hello everyone, need help! We're planning to book SEDA Hotel in Nuvali for our preps venue. According to them, their biggest room, Premiere Room (37 sqm) can only accommodate 1 king size bed. Since madami kami magsstay, including my mom, sister, and MOH, I'm considering getting the Deluxe Room (30 sqm) nalang kasi pwede 2 twin beds doon. Has anyone done wedding pictorial preps in the 30sqm Deluxe Room of Seda Hotel Nuvali? Is it too small for wedding preps?

Hi dndz, I attended wedding preps in a hotel room with 30 sq.m of space. Frankly speaking, it was really cramped. The family of the groom was there, the photographers, the videographers, tapos all the groomsmen pa and the best man. Napagalitan din sila ng hotel because the videographers/photographers were already sitting along the corridor dahil wala talagang space.

agree with sis krysia27. i think 30sqm is a little small for preps.
i had a 57sqm room and feel ko if i tried to have my family and suppliers in the same room magiging masikip talaga sya. good thing our hotel allowed us to use another suite for pictorials only so on the day parang naka-2 suite kame and it was very convenient for everyone.

if you have the extra budget, i suggest you book 2 rooms na lang. 1 for your preps and pictorials and another for your family/friends to stay in during preps.

Swerte mo naman na may free suite on the day!! Hehe. Sana mabait din yung sa amin and bigyan kami ng extra suite, tutal naman they will charge us 5k for pictorial purposes, etc! Still cheaper than the wedding prep package for the suite na inooffer sa amin dun sa una naming choice.

help mga sis! i have no idea kung ano size ng prep rooms ba ang ideal para sa groom at sa bride in terms of square meters? ayoko naman magbook ng masyado maliit or malaki para samin. sa groom, 3-4 lang sila matutulog. sa bride, 2-4 lang. pero syempre we have to consider the make up team, p/v, coordinators etc come wedding day. enough na ba ang 50 sqm for the groom? how about sa bride? thanks!!

^Acacia bride here. But for preps lang. Ok yung bridal suite nila. For deluxe room naliliitan ako mas bigger and mura sa Bellevue. Food wise, ilang beses na ko kumain sa buffet ng Acacia. May times na ok may times na hindi. Mas ok food sa Bellevue. And in terms of suppliers food mas hindi mahigpit magpasok sa Bellevue. Never been to Vivere

szne09, there are lots of hotels near sanctuario de san jose.  You can go to crown plaza, marco polo or privato hotel if you are on a budget.

Grabe super mahal ng hotels in Alabang. It'll cost us 50-60k for a 3br suite for me and my family, and then 2br suite for the groom's. I haven't booked yet, still contemplating kung pano ko ba mapapaliit yung gastos namin with the hotel. Ang laki kasi ng immediate family ko 8-9 pax. yung kay groom naman, 3 lang sila.

^sis mahal nga ang suite sa Alabang. If you want yung family mo baka pwede mo icheck in sa Parque? Punta nalang sila sa hotel mo pag mag make up na? Mas tipid kasi don mas mura.

hi mga sis, we're looking for bridal prep hotel in manila/ malate area. at first i thought minor lang ito, but now mahirap pala pumili kung san dapat magbook. have inquired from some na malapit on both our ceremony and reception venues, and here are the choices:

Pan Pacific Hotel, 60 sqm at 9,500
Bayview Park Hotel, 120 sqm at 10,800
City Garden Suites, 100 sqm at 6,000
Hotel Jen, 72 sqm at 8,300

I've booked 2 penthouse suites in City Garden Suites during my wedding preps last September. Spacious ang room, sakto dahil madami tao (Suppliers+entourage+family members), me space pa din ako for photoshoot.

^talaga sis? Sige.. sa weekend puntahan namin yang mga options. Pero si city garden ang pinakaaffordable tapos 100 sqm pa. Yung ibang mga natawagan ko booked na kasi sa feb. Kaya napressure nako maghanap this early para sure na may prep hotel kami na maayos. Thanks sis!
