juwie, yup worth it naman in the end. Cringe-worthy lang talaga yung OA na fee but as we got near the wedding date, we wanted the best na din even if it was a bit more than the budget

belle_v2g, what roadworks? Does it impact the hotel look? Kung as in sa kalye, I think the concern would be more on the traffic. Our photos/videos did not have shots ng kalye mismo so pictorial-wise, shouldn't be a concern I think.

marchbridetobe, they are not strict but we got several rooms so sakto lang kami sa pax per room. Food yes we bought packed meals outside for our brunch.
And yes, luxent talaga pinakamaganda IMO

Eastwood Richmonde things got stolen dun sa friend ko so that's a no no sa amin.

eastwood is also beautiful, especially the lobby, its cheaper than luxent and mas lalo pang bababa the price if you avail their corporate rates.

J.adore, may roadworks at the very front of Luxent hotel at the moment.. if the photo video will do wide shots ng hotel or aerial makikita to for sure.. pero magagaling ang mga PV teams they know how to avoid flaws like this. Traffic, yes.. lagi naman may accumulation sa area na to especially after nila i-change ang route ng traffic sa Delta. Napadaan kami sa luxent day after the wedding and we saw the roadworks kaya sabi ni hubby thankful sya na di kami doon kasi panget talaga if ever.. maganda ang hotel itself.. lalo na it was only built few years ago.

Sis juwie!! Super lenient ulet! Mga 60+ guests, family, ento at suppliers nakapasok without any problem! weird nila!!

True!! Medyo nahimasmasan after I emailed the front desk manager and told them that more and more brides are avoiding them because of their very inconsiderate policies. Still outside food is not allowed. Importante nakapasok naman lahat.

hi everyone! ngayon pa lang ako ulit nakabalik sa GT for additional research kaya puro backread na ulit, haha. almost done choosing suppliers kaya we're so happy...first leg of the prep stress almost done. though parang ang chillax pa namin these past 2 months kaya medyo kinakabahan akong wala pang masyadong stress, hahaha.

anyway, we're trying to evaluate The Legend Villas for our pre-wedding preps since our ceremony and reception venues are nearby. anybody with experience sa hotel? kahit wedding or non-wedding related para ma-gauge din namin kung okay yung stay.

...ano pa nga ba considerations dapat sa hotel before booking?

Is this the one in Pioneer? Very good service dun and the place is nice. Food is ok din.
Haven't been to the rooms though so better have an ocular na lang to check space.

Thanks sa feedback! Yep, ito yung nasa Pioneer. Nakapag occular na kami once, pero di pa kasi namin naserioso since napadaan lang kami sa area, haha. Yung napakita sa aming room, maluwag naman para sa akin, though hindi ako sure sa definition ng "maluwag" in terms of pre-wedding preps.

Think 20 to 30 people in a room hehe that's how you'll know if space is enough.

Hi wacky18, my SIL had Legend Villas for her wedding preps. Ang naalala ko lang comment ng MUA nya was that uncomfy sya sa light or amount of natural light na pumapasok sa loob ng room. Other than that it was spacious. Saka maganda naman yung SIL ko that day check mo na rin yung lighting nya now coz that was 2009 pa naman and baka nagbago na. Hth!

crimsonsky, we did an ocular at Fairmont and the front desk personnel told us you can have pictures at certain common areas.

Went with F1 Hotel in BGC in the end kasi they are a lot cheaper than others in the area pag sa Agoda nagbook. No regrets, the living room area was enough to fit the coordinators, HMUA, photo and video people and the room was comfortable enough. Free buffet breakfast pa, so I got to pig out during the day of my wedding haha. Dinaan ko jitters sa pagkain.

thanks sis. sige, baka kailangan ko lang siguraduhin na maganda yung room na mapipili namin. baka nasa orientation din kung san nakaharap yung room para mas pasok yung sunlight.

Hi mga sis just want to ask your suggestions kung ilang rooms ang binook nyo for preparation? kasi our wedding will be July 18, so I'm planning to book 1 room for July 17-19 para before and after wedding dun kami then another 1 room for July 17-18 lang para lang sa preparation on the day kaso lang the check out is 12pm and our wedding ceremony is 2pm pa so mashadong maaga yung check out and the hotel wont allow late check out Parang ang gastos naman kung 2 rooms ang ibook ko for 2 nights. pero kawawa naman si h2b and family ni h2b kung check out sila ng 12 then mag antay lang sa lobby, our hotel is just 5 mins away from our church. hayyy

hi sis, same tayu ng ginawa. ours naman is on sept 12, bale nagbook ako 2 rooms for sept11-12 tapos sept11-13 yung 1 naman. tapos inallow kami ng late checkout until 1PM pero maaga pa din, considering our 3pm ceremony. so plan namin ilipat lahat ng gamit sa room na binook ng 2N and they can also stay sa room na yun. ihiwalay na lang muna si H2B if ever para di muna kayo magkakitaan haha.
