Sis sabi ng HMUA ko.. may wedding sya sa Eastwood Richmonde last week tapos bawal na mag assist ang hotel staff nila sa mga gamit ng suppliers. Kailangan sunduin ang suppliers sa lobby. Saka may certain area lang daw kung saan pwede mag shoot. And yun nga bawal na raw mag pasok ng outside food. Siguro raw kasi, naabuso before yung kaluwagan nila.

sobra strict naman.. di namin sya hotel kaya lang parang indirectly pinagbabawalan na nila wedding preps ha sa rules nila..

sobrang inconsiderate nga, i heard it's because of a group of photographers na nagpasaway.
instead na i-ban sila alone, lahat nirestrict  nila.

Oh no. Sobrang hassle. Try to cancel and demand for a refund na lang sis. Transfer to a different hotel na lang for peace of mind and less stress on your wedding day.

when i spoke to them over the phone, i am not qualified for a refund daw since i booked and paid thru agoda.com. i tried to negotiate though, and i communicated with 3 other girls from weddings at work forum. i sent them an email asking for considerations..i consulted my coordinator, and my event host ( of course you know who she is  ) my coordinator instantly naman was able to formulate a Plan B, while my host suggested to contact the other brides and make a collective letter and get everyone to sign, strength in numbers daw kasi. we need to let them know what's wrong with their current policy. kay host ko din nalaman about the photographers na may ginawang something kaya nagbago ang rules.. super hassle and stressful to as in.. if you were able to read the rules, maiinis ka talaga.. covered ba talaga ako ng new rule even if i booked last year pa? the reason why i booked them kasi super lenient e..

^hi sis, nagulat ako ERH changed their house rules. When i had my wedding last December 13, 20 brides daw kaming checked in at that time sa hotel and we didnt encounter any problems with them..well, except sa matagal na elevator. What happened? Can you please share the story of what the photographers did?

We're finally done with our Jan 5 wedding. I'll be posting the supplier feedback soon. Pero dito muna ko sa hotel kasi ito yung unang worry ko nung wedding preps.


We got Manila Penn and as what others posted here, yes, they're a bit strict when it comes to taking photos especially when your reception is not at the hotel itself.

Food, you can bring in food. Upon check-in, we had boxes of wines, cupcakes, mineral water but no one complained. They would never really bother checking what's inside the boxes. I think yung bawal is delivery type of food.  Nakapagdala nga kami ng roasted chicken upon check in, kahit naaamoy nung dog deadma lang . pero hindi kami nakapagprepare for the crew, kasi nga akala namin super strict. Kung magdadala kayo ng food for the crew, dapat well packed and lagay na lang sa isang big box, huwag yung super obvious na outside food like jollibee.

Picture taking, yes bawal. The option of even paying just for the sake of pictorial is not available. As in bawal, but you can be very discreet. We were able to take some photos at the 2nd floor and while I was walking down the stairs. May lumapit lang na hotel staff pero nakatingin lang sila, siguro as long as your photog and videog are well behaved, there wouldn't be any problems with the hotel staff. And siyempre dapat yung hindi din mabobother yung ibang guests.

If you're going to consider Manila Penn for your wedding preps, be sure to request for rooms within the same floor. With this, your photog/videog/coordinator will not have a hard time moving from one floor to another.

^i don't know exactly what happened sis. nabanggit lang pero di na ako nagpakwento.. update with ERH, they amended the rule, instead of maximum 6 occupants, they made it "plus 6" depending on the number of person allowed to stay in a specific room. Let's say for example, maximum of 4 persons are allowed to stay in their 2 BR Suite, plus 6 so 10 lang ang pwede pumasok at a time. still, hassle pa rin. so hindi pa ako pumapayag. I did not expect na hotel pa talaga ang sobrang mangiistress sakin.
