HOTEL (For Wedding preps) part 4

You know what mga sisses, may fiance and I sat down and talked about which hotel to book. I mentioned him about the membership cards which allows you to get more freebies and discounts. We contacted some hotels who offering membership cards. We gather all information and put it in google docs. Compute all things and etc. Then, I realized I have a senior aunt who will join me in the suite! Senior cards are honored in rooms! I contacted the hotels which we're eyeing on and guess what, mas malaki pa ng kaunti ang menos compared sa less rate ng membership card nila. LOL! Because we will reserved 2 nights (3pm sched for wedding ceremony), the first night should be shouldered by my aunt's senior card, then the second night, we will gonna use the membership card discount! Hope the plan goes well soon! Laki ng savings!

Last night, I have a friend who contacted me and asked her help to search for some hotels na may kakilala sya. So happy! It means, pwedeng mapababa pa ang rates! Sana makakita talaga sya mga sis!

Has anyone here tried Lancaster Suites for preps? It's the nearest and cheapest sa shortlist ko. 1br suite plan ko kunin, is it ok ba?

But I'm also looking at Astoria, Linden, kaso mas mahal.

sis Cheezums, personally di pa kami nakaranas ng wedding preps sa Lancaster, pero dun kami nag bridal shower for my friend last 2012. Okay sila doon, madali kausap. Then yung isang ka officemate ko dun sya nag preps last January wedding nya. Ang comment lang daw nya, sana daw ang kinuha nila is hindi loft type, kasi mas masikip lumabas, nahirapan ng konti yung photog nya. Nung nag bridal shower pala kami doon, mas spacious yung parang 1br nila na adjoining something? Mas malaki sya, pero parang may surcharge na 1500 yun, kasi di daw nila regular room yung ganun.

Ako din yan ang shortlist ko, sa PSE kasi ako e. Then add ko pa yung sa Greenhills Elan, mukhang okay din, tho konti lang nakikita kong feedback e.

hindi pa namin na-book ang hotel for preps, ang nasa shortlist namin ay: Eastwood Richmonde, La Breza and Luxent. priority namin is malawak na rooms and budget so most likely La Breza. will do an ocular first before booking.

Based on your priority mukhang La Breza nga para sayo I also read na maluwag sila so hindi hassle wedding preps.
But yes, go for ocular kasi si Fiance ayaw niya na gloomy yung lobby and rooms (parang wala tao).

Yun yung pagkasabi sakin nung receptionist eh. Kasi nung nag bridal shower kami doon, may naging prob yung 1br na kinuha namin, then nag demand kami na ilipat kami sa ibang room. Ayun yun yung binigay samin, yung 1br din pero mas malaki sya kesa dun sa 1br na nauna namin. 2 dun ang CR dun sa nilipatan namin. Then nung nag ocular ako ulit doon, hinahanap ko yung room na yun. Di pa nga alam ng receptionist eh, then sabi ko check nya yung booking namin dati (nung bridal shower) then tsaka nya nagets. Ayun sabi nya may additional nga daw yung room na yun since hindi nga sya regular room, di ko na masyado maalala pero something like that yung explanation. Yup alam ko wala sa website ata nila yun. Di ko sure kung adjoining room ba yun. lols. nakalimutan ko na ulit. XD

ask ko lang din, how much yung sa Astoria mo? Magkano rate yung binigay nila? Mas mura nga ata talaga kung didirect ka sa hotels, kesa sa agoda etc. Kasi sa mga agoda, kaya lalabas na mura, kasi wala pang tax yun (wc is addtl 22% kasi 10% sc tapos 12% vat) Baka pala ma consider mo din yung The Exchange Regency, sa Ortigas lang din yun, malapit sa PSE

^Sige check ko yun. Archbishop's Palace kasi kami. Nearest is Shaw Residenza kaso hindi hotel atmosphere. Kung hindi lang magshooshoot ok na ko dun. Ang laki kasi. Yung Astoria try to ask for corporate rates. They'll give it mga 1-2k discount din from local residents rate nila. Parang 4800 net ata yung 1br suite if I'm not mistaken. Pero cheaper pa rin sa Lancaster at less than 4k hehe. Kung overnight and 1 room lang kailangan ok lang sana. Kaso 2 rooms and more than 1 night din yun. Check ko rin yung room na sinasabi mo sa Lancaster sa ocular namin. But it only has 1br right? Bigger lang and 2 toilet&bath's.

We booked Oakwood Premier Hotel (Ortigas) for wedding preps in December. There is no fancy stairs like Richmonde Hotel but the rooms are spacious as in enough for big crowd.. we got (1night) 2BR suite for me and my family and (2nights) 1 BR for h2b and h2b's family for only 18k. Super savings and super nice ng room talaga, and hindi sila strict sa foods, suppliers, pictorials and guests. I am just so satisfied sa terms nila. Check nyo mga sis!! <3

Go for Lancaster lalo na kung hectic day/time ang wedding mo. Pag sa bandang Ortigas side kasi, malaki chance na matraffic.

If Sta. Clara around ortigas will do na, Crowne Plaza, Oakwood, Astoria, Linden marami actually. If marikina Richmonde hotel in Eastwood at Microtel

Hi stupidgal. May nakita kaming travel fair sa glorietta kahapon applicable till today. Fairmont was offering 8k for a deluxe room tos raffles junior suite for 14k. Same building lang sila. Medyo expensive pa din for me kahit all in na yun kaso may 5k na fee daw for photoshoot. Pero hindi daw sila strict sa food. I guess i'm going na with fraser, na matagal akong naghesitate to book dahil di masyado photogenic (mababaw na reason). At least sa fraser comfortable naman for our family and friends na magstay dun sa sobrang laki ng rooms more than the great areas for photoshoot, kung mukha naman kaming masaya magrereflect naman yun sa photos.

wala pa kasi na-book na church. for now, yan pa lang ang options ko na church kasi wala pa si h2b.dadating pa lang sa tuesday (August 19). mag-oocular kami ng church then venue then hotel.super excited lang.january 10 or 17, 2015 sana ang wedding date.kaya pa kaya yun hehe?
