This is a very good topic. We're getting married on Q4. We will be both 29 this year.
We've known each other for almost 11 Years, and turning 10 Years as bf-gf this coming July.

Financially?
We're both OFW. Nag su-support pa kami both sa family. Ako, meron pakong 1 college na pinapaaral, then h2b naman support nalang sa mom nya monthly since bunso sya. Never din namin naging issue ang pera, dahil since Day 1 na naging kami, kahit studyante palang kami that time, i always told him pag-awayan na namin lahat, but please wag lang ito.

Emotionally?
Never naging issue ang infidelity on his side, on my side? Medyo Medyo noon, lol (feeling maganda) xD

Physically?
We're both healthy naman i think. HAHA! So far wala pa naman na-oospital samin dahil sa sakit mula nung maging kami. Lol! On a serious note, hindi pa kami nagpa check up if we are capable to bear a child. After ng kasal nalang siguro? Tingin ko naman healthy ako. Normal ang period ko, and I hope walang may lahi samin both ng ba*g. (Pray)

Spiritually?
We have the same religion. We have the same faith. We have short comings, but we pray and we prioritize God.

Mentally?
Ako may saltik talaga proven and tested. Buti nalang, mahaba ang pisi nya. HAHAHA!
When it comes to way of thinking, mas malalim sya than me. HAHA!

Attitude?
We're TOTAL Opposite! I don't know if it works to others, but it worked on us. Noon pa, lagi ko tinatanong bat kaya kami nag kakasundo, eh halos saliwa kami ng ugali. Opposite real attracts daw. HAHA! And I must say na mas mabait sya, mas understanding, mas mahaba ang patience nya kesa sakin. HAHA!

Being a Parent or Partner in Life?
We talked about it, on how are we going to be as parents. Pero wala pa kami sa status, so we'll only cross the bridge, when we get there. As a partner? Lumang tugtugin but it's true parin at nakita ko. Na makikita mo sa partner mo how is he as a partner kung paano nya i treat ang family nya. He really love his mom and 2 Ate's, so I believe he could do or give more naman siguro kapag sarili nya ng pamilya at mga anak. Adoption? I opened to him, if the time comes na maging option namin ito, as of now - my answer will be NO. I am not ready and not open to it. I just don't know kapag andun na kami.

----

Are we now ready to get married? Is love really enough to conquer all? HAHA! Prepared ba kami on what's coming next after marriage? Lalo na kapag kami nalang dalawa. Hindi ko alam kung live-in na ba ang tawag samin dito sa UAE or semi-live in lol, since we're living under the same roof, same bed, pero sa room 6 kami like a literal bed-spacer. Naasikaso ko sya, naasikaso nya ako like husband and wife. But I couldn't give my all whenever I am happy or angry at him dahil nga may iba pa kaming kasama, lalo na kasama namin here is mga relative nya and yung isa nyang Ate. Hindi ko mailabas ang 100 porsyento ko. HAHA!

Sabi nga nila, "The only thing that is constant is Change." Or we will just stay or mag tyaga sa safe kung ano ang nakasanayan namin for the past 10 years? Or we will both work hard, for us to work on this - COME. WHAT. MAY.

Magpapaksal lang ba kami because of age? Every girl longed for this event.

HAHAHA!

I asked h2b about this. Are we really ready? Bwahaha! But seriously, he answered me that Love is a Leap of Faith, actually everything in Life. Yes we planned this, we're finally near to reach one of our long-time goals, which sis to finally get married. BUT! We can't predict what will happen on the next, and he believes that most of the people will never be ready for tomorrow. Surviving or surpassing will always depend on us, on our choices. It will depend on how are we going to work on it.

He even emphasized on me na "As long as natutulog ka ng buwisit ka sakin, it will not work na siguro in the future, lalo na kapag 2 nalang tayo. So practice it as early as now. Train yourself na kung ano man ang tampuhan natin, at the end of the day you must learn how to listen on my explanations, then forgive and forget no matter kung gaano kababaw or kalalim." It hits me. This is one of the reasons why I Love him. He knows how to handle me when I am in tampururot mode, and to say his sides kahit msaktan ako, so I would know my mistakes and I could learn after.

But for what we have right now, in all aspects of life, he knows for sure that he is indeed ready for marriage. He told me to release all the what ifs and buts. Free my head from worries and don't overthink. Just trust and follow our happy hearts.

Charot! HAHA!

Kung sakaling may magbago bukas or may dumating out of hand, always take time to find the faith in your heart and in Love. Pray to God, because he will give what your heart desires.

After that discussion, yes I am sure that we are ready na. Always pray for your partner and for your relationship, because there will never ever be a perfect one. =)

HAHA! Na overwhelmed kasi ako. HAHA!

Have a happy life mga sis! ♥

^ welcome to the club sis.. you are  nearly there. Kami din ni hubby, we are opposites.  We started like that. Now we are still on opposite sides of the spectrum. I am talkative, sya tahimik. Ako kalog, sya reserved. Ako worrywart, sya chillax to the max.. Ako impatient, sya mahaba pisi. I used to believe na opposites attract. But as time grew, I realized that it was not the reason for us. We didn't attract. We complemented each other. That was the reason why it worked for us,  why it is still working. :)  Naway, walang magbabago and we will still be the same hehe

^ i so agree, sis missus o, my husband and i are opposites, too! i'm introverted and he's extroverted so he brings me to parties and shows me how to mingle while i take him to walks in the park. he's also not a planner and i am so he teaches me how to be spontaneous and i show him how to plan everything - from trips to our savings plans. he's a pack rat and i'm the type who will throw stuff away if i find them useless. he's messy while i have a mild case of ocd. i've found that we don't clash, we meld instead. we teach each other new things every day.

^nakakatawa no sis 120515. I'm a mixture of both OCD but my hubby is more neat than I am. I live in an orderly chaos hehe.  But it's true. We learn about something each and everyday. hehe. Nakakatuwa. :) Enjoy pregnancy sis :)

Hi Missus 8 and sis 120515 thank you for the replies! =)

I am glad to know na marami ding couple ang nagtutugma despite their differences. Sabi nga ni h2b we compliment well, that's why it works. We're looking positively sa differences namin kahit  minsan nakakabuset na. HAHA! Like masinop ako, sya medyo makalat, mga ganun. Hahaha! Hindi ko naman sinasadya pero naiinis lang ako kapag hindi in order by color or by size, or kapag aalis ng hindi naka plano. I better sleep nalang. But h2b, madalas mag aya maglakad lakad kahit walang exact na pupuntahan. lol xD

Cheers for the happy married life mga sis! ♥

My boss (30/M/Married) once told me na hindi ka dapat mag-settle down dahil sa tingin mo ay you are old enough. Dito kasi sa Pinas culture ay dapat kapag 25 years old ideal na magpakasal na. Hindi dapat sa age binabase kundi yung kakayanan mo as an individual as well as a partner mo na maging responsible at independent. I do not think many people really get the idea of settling down.

Financial is just one aspect. And come to think of it, madali iyan i-measure since you have an amount in the bank, you have assets with net with. May nakaakibat na number. What's hard is the emotional maturity ng couple. Are you really ready to accept each pther's flaws? Yes of course kaya nga ikakasal, but then have you seen each other's worst and yet continue to have a happy relationship?
Then are both of you ready to be caring and loving to your spouse - Once the kids come, or chores sa house, or who brings home the bacon, iisa lang ba gagawa nyan or both of you dapat share ng burden? Both Husband and Wife dapat same pananaw para Mas smooth ang relationship.
