I LOVE RAINBOW LOOM!

binili ko to supposedly for my daughter pero di nya masyadong enjoy (she'll be turning 8yo pa lang).  ako yung gumagamit and i'm super addicted to it.  i now have 2 RL looms and the basic colors. nag-order pa ako from RL US webstore kasi ang mahal dito sa SG ng bands. eh marami bibilhin ko kasi i'm planning on giving bracelets to my daughter's classmates as give away for her bday celebration in school.
i only use RL rubber bands kasi ang dali nyang gamitin! hindi din napapatid. sulit talaga. meron din akong ibang brand pero nakaka-inis i-loom. ayaw umalis sa peg, madaling maputol at yung iba hindi stretchy.  tsaka yung RL bands hindi nagfe-fade yung kulay, pag nagkamali ka, pede mong gamitin ulit kasi di pa ganon ka-stretched yung rubber band.

- FeelinSpiffy - intricate designs but easy to follow din. her kaleidoscope bracelet is my fave. i saw somebody make a kaleidoscope belt. gusto ko din gumawa. pero di ko pa kaya to let go of that many rubber bands.

inggit nga ako sa Pinas loomers kasi ang dami nyo nang rubber band dyan tapos ang mura pa.  gusto ko nga magpabili kaso talo din naman ako sa shipping...

natuwa naman ako may thread pala about Looming . I just started looming last night. while having dinner, one of my girl friends was making one for each of us. naaliw ako, sakto she bought the materials in the weekend bazaar at GreenField District which is just on the next street hehe. Was able to get myself a starter kit for only Php40 - ito yung loom niya na parang slingshot/tirador with 2 pegs. Tapos 3 for 100 yung elastics.

I find it amusing at the same time relaxing since stressful sa work. Di ko pa ata keri mag-share ng work ko kasi yung first bracelet na gawa ko feeling ko parang Kinder ang gumawa LOL.

sa loomlove pa lang ako nanunuod ng tutorials ngayon, nakakatuwa kasi mga bata yung nagtuturo hehe.

ang hirap din maghanap ng loom bands dito sa pinas, lagi sold out. pag naman sa mall yung mga tao pakyaw bumili..

i tried ordering online sa rainbow loom philippines, ayun till now wala pa rin reply. =(

Sis may nagbebenta sa weekend market sa Greenfield District. I think she also sells the big looms. She's also on IG (ibadiba). Nagbebenta rin officemate ko, so umorder na rin ako (sa Tuesday when I return to work ko makukuha).

Hi mga sis! Ako din i'm into this rainbow loom...actually 3 ang ganito sa bahay...
first, we saw one at Toys r Us, Cra-z-loom. It's for my daughters sana. Eh naengganyo hubby ko (i know, right?!  ) so he ordered Loomband and Rainbow Loom online...
So the cra-Z-loom is now for my 5yr old, the Loom Band is what my 8yr old is using, and the Rainbow Loom is for him. Lol! But of course i can use RL...but not the kids...
my daughters can spend hours making different bracelets (my youngest can do single band and fishtail & my eldest can follow the tutorials @youtube); then they would give it to their friends & classmates.
Ako naman i'm making rings and headbands with flowers for them

hubby has other youtube channels but i dont know what kasi sya naman he makes those figures like spiderman, then Rapunzel and Elsa for the kids, and very elaborate charms and flower bracelets for me hehhehe

Anyway,we also have a lot of bands..different kinds and color..glow in the dark, metallic, ultra-violet, glittered...some are ordered online

@sis ri-anne > parehas tayo yung hubby ko naging interested na rin sa RL! he made me an infinity bracelet. tapos one time may ginagawa siyang hard core na bracelet, hindi niya natapos kasi beginner pa naman talaga siya 

dati puro cars pinapanood niya sa youtube, aba ngayon puro rainbow looms  na pinapanood niya! hehe

can the big looms be used in a regular loom board?

Di ko masyado gets yung fuss over loom bands Glorified rubber band on your hand because of designs but it's still rubber, not even good for the environment.

Nakakaaliw ba siya kasi madali gawin? Or dahil madaming gumagawa kaya masaya magshare? Or it's the fad? Please help me understand

well to each her own naman sis. I enjoy looming because it helps relieve the stress I get from work. Naaliw ako kasi madaling gawin (I was never a creative type ever since). Kanya kanyang trip kumbaga ☺

yes agree to you sis aoshi_01, looming is a good stress reliever. i usually make one when i go home after work. at first i find it boring pero nun naka-watch na ako ng tutorials na-enjoy ko na siya

Hi sis! May nabibili daw sa Tiendesitas ng bands for on P20 per pack. Alam niyo ba kung saan?
Nagulat ako enjoy ang 14 year old sa pag gawa. Better than mag surf lang siya sa internet most of the day XD

yes nakaka-wala talaga ng stress mag-loom. it's not just the fad. i think naman that anything that uses the creative part of our brain relieves stress. lalo na kung nag-e-enjoy tayo.

my daughter loves keychains. as in ambigat ng school bag nya sa dami ng nakalaylay.  hinahayaan ko lang kasi dun sya masaya.  so i now make charms for her.  she's into minecraft so ginagawa ko si herobrine at saka mga creatures doon.  di ko pa na-try mga disney princes.. medyo ayaw kong simulan. kasi siguro once i start i wont stop. eh konti lang skintone bands ko. hahahaha

Joining mga sis! I also love rainbow loom. The Friday after na feature ito sa Kristv sometime May, nag punta kami sa divisoria to buy bands. Yung loom board costs 50 pesos lang whole sale, then week after nag 150 pesos na. We also bought bands nasa 15 pesos lang 120pcs. Kaso after a month, naghiwahiwalay at napunit na  mga bracelets na ginawa ko. Kaya mas preferred ko pa din ang RL. Btw mga sis, careful sa mga looming workshop sa mga SM ha. The loom workshop in SM Bicutan were selling fake RLs. The sales lady was claiming na orig yun pero ayoko na lang mapahiya sya but it was obviously fake kasi nakakita na ko ng class a sa BF tiangge mas mura pa. San kaya makakabili ng loombands organizer? Everytime punta ko sa Daiso out of stock na. Sobra mahal naman sa Toys r'us.

hindi lang dahil uso.. nakakawala nga sya ng stress, na-aamaze pa ako sa mga pwede kong gawin. amazing talaga. pati brother ko nagawa na rin ng bands... youtube tutorials are really helpful!

Made my first fishtail and infinity loombands last night lang! At naghahanap na ako ng mabibilhan ng orig RL kaya napunta ako dito hehe

Before hindi ko din gets ano meron sa colorful goma kasi ang mahal    pero nagpabili kasi mga bagets sakin, so nagbuy ako ng napatawid ako ng overpass.. Nung inuwi ko, ang panget daw at amoy goma.. naawa naman ako kaya binilhan ko right away sa toys r us.. Nakita at naamoy ko yung difference ng bands, never na ako buy ng cheap ones hehe

So nagwatch lang ako sa youtube.. Kaso paubos na yung color na gusto ko at out of stock na din sa toy kingdom at toys r us.. San pa meron kaya? Ayoko online sa ig puro fake ata nakikita ko, ang mumura hehe

Naenjoy ko na sya! Haha ang saya pramis kasi pwede ka gumawa kahit ano design and color

still on the quest to find a loom band organizer. managed to upcycle my mom's old pill/medicine box ginawan ko na lang ng dividers by cutting up index cards and covered the outer part with Washi tape. kaso puno na siya ng bands.

my friend (the enabler who got me hooked in the first place) was able to buy sa Toys R' Us kaso mahalya fuentes! 700? that's like 3 days worth of my self-allocated workday allowance hehe. hanap muna ako sa groceries baka meron mas mura.

Mga sis, per gram na mga loom bands sa divi. As in madami na mga magandang colors. Bought a loom band storage box, bale 28 partitions yun, nasa 350 lang unlike sa toys r us na super mahal. Sa ground floor lang ng 168 nagkalat na. Sa May likod ng 168 madami din.
