Yes, saw that one too. They have some branches in QC, Manila, Caloocan and Pasig. Any feedbacks regarding APEC Schools?

hi, i enrolled my daughter in their Sampaloc, Branch. incoming Grade 7 yung daughter ko.

the school is really promising, and that we'll have to experience this year.

sobrang excited nung daughter ko kasi nga non traditional yung approach but still in line with the DepEd curriculum and with international approach.

sobrang thankful ako that I learned about APEC, kasi i-ta-transfer ko na talaga dapat siya sa public school this year.

hoping the school will really deliver well.

^sis sofiameredith, what do you mean by non traditional? meaning progressive type yung teaching nya?

I thought this was like a vocational school coz the write-ups say that after graduation, the kids can go look for jobs na.   
It's a great concept. About time.

They will be equipped with skills that will help them secure jobs after grade 12 but the kids still have option if they would want to continue in Universities. Curriculum is benchmark against international standard but at the same time following the DepEd curriculum.

Wow galing!  Ngayon ko lang nalaman itong APEC school na ito.  Looks promising nga.  Sana they will open a branch in Parañaque din.

I think they have 2 or 3 branches in Paranaque. None in Las Pinas yet but 1 in Muntinlupa

I always see this being advertised in the cinemas. It sounds promising! And mukhang cheaper than any schools pa. Sana nga they really deliver good quality graduates.

Sa Sucat branch nila, Grade 7 and 8 palang. I wonder if magkaka elementary and preschool din sila?

^satisfied naman kami sis kaya dito ko pa rin enroll daughter ko this coming school year...

downside lang is until now may pasok sila habang nakabakasyon na ang karamihan. June 12 pa vacation nila...then July pasok na ulit. 1 month lang school break nila.

Sis, nung nag inquire kami tinanong ko din bakit parang ang ikli ata ng vacation. Then inexplain naman na every end per quarter may 1 week silang break. So bale 4weeks na vacation na nila yun. Tapos christmas ilang weeks din bale pala sila walang pasok. Tapos holy week another 1 week vacation uli. Super affordable ng tuition dito lalo yung mga pioneer. Sis sofiameredith, kasama siguro daughter mo dun no? Ask ko lang about sa books, pahiram lang ba nila yung books o sa student na yun? And bukod sa tuition and baon ano pa ba mga extra expenses sa school? May fieldtrip ba sila? Magpapasa na kami ng requirements this week para ma sched na yung son ko and yung pinsan nya ng interview. Excited na sila .

Parang SG school year, may 1 week break every sem (after 10 weeks) and then a month long + 2 weeks ang long vacation.

@jenybasti ganun na nga. May mga 1 week break naman in between grading period saka christmas and holy week break. Yung books wala naman inuuwi ang anak ko, nasa school yun saka sharing sila though naka lcd projector din naman yung nilelesson nila so ok na din magshare sila sa books. Wala silang field trip this year pero meron silang sportsfest.

Bukod sa mga nabanggit mo, wala naman ako ibang naging expense.

Great to hear about this pero very too early dahil baby pa lang kid ko  Pero kasi gusto ko rin ng non traditional and heard the video about feedbacks. Ayoko rin kasi yung ang haba haba na nga ng oras mo sa school tambak pa yung assignments mo tapos yung project patong patong, halos araw araw pa nangyayari ito. Kaya noon stress rin ako sa pag-aaral eh! I mean kapag nasa work tayo ganyan rin mangyayari. Saka totoo yung nasa feedback na halos magulang na yung gumagawa ng assignments and projects which is ayoko rin mangyari yun. I am concern about learning itself hindi yung kung saang magandang school siya galing, high standard or kung ano pa.

I am afraid lang in the future baka naman sa dami rin ng gustong mag enroll baka maging tulad sa public school na crowded. Sana lang paramihin nila ang branch lalo na sa Makati at Pasay.
