5k is actually pretty reasonable :-)

my coordinator has the exact string lights that i want and she's renting it to me for 5k, including installation...then i'll just add the string led lights that i bought online for about 3k...i won't have drapings, i love the look of string lights just across the ceiling then i'll hang tissue paper pompoms in gold and pink from them 

i'm also pretty excited but my wedding is still so far away

Ang mahal pala ng string lights. Haha! Fiance said he's going to DIY ours eh. He's probably going to ask for manual help from their workers. Didn't realize that would cost 5k. Akala ko xmas lights levels lang. Haha

Last December, I inquired to them via email and their quotation was at Php80/chair with free delivery within Metro Manila for bookings of at least 100 chairs  not sure if nag-increase sila ng rates

Same with all of you gusto ko rin ng string lights instead of having drapes at our venue. Not sure lang if our caterer can do it. If DIY, saan makakabili kaya?

Super hirap if DIY pa yung string lights yourself...pero wala na daw talaga nabibili nito. Even the caterers or stylists who have them, ginagawa nila from scratch. Per bulb. I chose not to do it myself because i have no technical expertise, na dapat tama yung kind of wire and thickness na gagamitin, plus the bulbs minsan may defective so sayang din. There are some online, sourced from China, pero i dont want to risk it na biglang mamatay on my reception, kakahiya.
