What is your dream salary?

Each of us have our own definition of being rich.

For you, what is your dream salary so you can say you are already rich?
Please state if it's monthly/yearly salary. I'm interested to know.

To feel rich, what I would really like is a big passive income, not a salary. My dream is to earn a passive income of at least P300k (or $7k) monthly. That's P3.6 mil a year in passive income. If the average return is 10% yearly, to get P3.6 mil I need to have 36 million invested.

Alam ko mababa yung for other people, but that's enough for me, sobra sobra pa. Wit that kind of money, I can reinvest and keep growing the money pa.

I feel like I need to work doubly hard in order to attain this. Minsan parang imposible pero baka kayanin.

^ That's possible if you have a business or if you have properties with tenants. But if you're an employee, that's possible OUTSIDE the country. As people have told me, you can get rich in the Philippines by being an entrepreneur and not by being an employee.

dream lang naman di ba for salary 50k a month tapos sa passive income galing sa mga investment at least 500k haha.. gusto ko while i'm working sige pa rin ang mga investment ko working for me.

As they say, people are only as rich or as poor as their aspirations. So mine is around $150k/year. Because I want to get a Tesla. Not immediately. I still want to feel like I worked hard for it.

Through the years, I saw how my pay increased.  Pero I never felt rich. Bakit ganun? I live below my means, at least to my mind.  Example, never owned any signature bags kahit na sa tingin ko afford ko naman hehe. Wala naman akong pinapakain na ibang tao maliban sa sarili ko and 2 kids and a helper.

I guess what I am looking for is stability. My work is not stable, maybe that's why my earnings are higher than the average. Tapos kahit pa mataas ang earnings, mataas din ang gastos. So ganun parin.

Siguro if you ask me now, ano ang dream pay ko?  One lump sum lang. P420M, tax free.    Kasi like sis Annie M, I also assume an interest sa savings ko.  So all I need is 1% interest, ok nako.

im ok with a monthly allowance of 100k tax free plus credit card allowance of around that same amount. My travel expenses (5 times a year minimum) is not included here pa so siguro mga 400k monthly pwede na haha!

sis,  that figure, $150k/year,  is that living in the states or in Pinas?  just curious...
