Hi! Ang alam ko their buses operate for 24 hrs. Yung train nila is up to 11PM only though ( if I'm not mistaken).

a

I don?t think my problem with meds as long as for personal use. I brought my usual antacid/analgesics/ anti histamines and muscle relaxants pati inhaler and Wala [textspeak!] naging prob. ;) good luck!

Ang Bawal for me e [textspeak!] may Amoy na food.. Kasi when we were waiting for our checked in baggage, may umiikot na sniffing dog, then Lahat ng hininTuan  nia na passenger, kinonfiscate [textspeak!] mga Dala... I saw chicharon, jolibee and others wrapped in Manila paper. Kawawa mostly ofw

Hello!

May I ask for help in creating an itinerary? Planning to go to Taiwan with kids. No definite dates yet but may I know how many days ideally do we need to cover the following spots/places? We don't want a rushed pace so we can limit 2-3 spots per day. Please suggest which attractions can be done together per day/area.

Here are the places/activities that we are interested in:
Chiang Kai Shek Memorial
Starbucks Coffee at Taipei 101
Hiking at Elephant Mountain (view of Taipei 101)

Taipei Zoo
Maokong Gondola

Shifen
Jiufen

Hualein - Taroko Gorge

Fo Guang Shan Monastery in Kaoshiung
Lotus Pond in Kaoshiung

Pa-help naman on how to group these attractions. And with this itinerary, where is the best place to find a hotel? Preferrably near train stations sana.

Thanks so much for those who can provide advice/inputs. :)

For day 1 and 2, suggest to hire a car para hindi kayo masyadong pagod. Ganon ginawa namin sa Taichung. 2 full days naman kami.

For day 4, I suggest you start early. Sobrang init sa Yehliu around 10AM. Para siyang rock formation sa Ilocos. Research on the train schedule from point a to point b. Ang pinakamaraming lipat yung from Yehliu Park to Shifen. If I'm not mistaken 3 lipat kami (2 Bus and 1 train) which is way cheaper instead of hiring a private car.

Shifen to Jiufen is 1 train and taxi naman. Again, just check the train schedule since every hour lang din minsan yung train.

^ and ^^ Last day ko in Taipei was on 31st December, a Sunday and my flight back was at midnight. I went to Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Eslite Department Store and Tonghua Night Market. Madami rin tao but makakapahinga pa naman kasi may available seats. The malls at Xinyi and Zhongxiao Dunhao/Fuxing area puwede rin.

okay ba yung KK/Klook Tours? if no choice talaga then private car na lang talaga para makarami.

Tip: I find UBER to be cheaper than riding metered taxis... when you abused your legs and feet the whole day and you just want to go back to the hotel and raised your legs, Uber is the way to go.. only 62$ NTD from main Taipei station to our hotel, ximending to our hotel, Tim ho wan to our hotel ;-)  feel free to message me if you have questions, Tom will be our last day! 1 week is not enough! ;-)
