Thanks sa tip about jackets, I'm going in May, so definitely need a jacket and boots kase maulan daw huhuhu ... I'm still deciding pa if we're going to camp sa airport... pero most likely not.. kase I will need to go to a resto na kase agad2 for lunch the next day.. hehe

I didn't get the  unli pass. yung reloadable lang. but if you are going to other cities mas maigi nga na i-compute mo na lang yung magagastos mo then just buy tickets.

Suggest to make the itinerary first. From there, you could plan your OOTDs na. It's okay to plan your OOTD from top to bottom (including shoes) to avoid overpacking.

When we went to Cingjing Farm, we had to wear winter clothes kasi sa bundok siya. Temperature was 16C. But when we went to Yehliu-Shifen, I only wore sleeveless top, leggings and sneakers. Mainit din kasi. Nagdala lang ako ng plaid top just in case lumamig sa gabi.

Just be flexible sa clothes lalo na kung pupunta kayo the midst of 2 seasons like us. From autumn to winter na nun.

Can anyone recommend a driver for nantou county/cinjing please? Siguro we will arrive by THSR, then we will go home at night lang... Recommended ba na stay 1 night there?

Sun Moon lake
Wenwu Temple
Old England Manor

And I forgot the name of the night market there..

Siguro we will also go down south to Tainan...

(sigh) this sounds complex since I don't speak Mandarin too well... huhu

What's the best route or order for these cities?

Taiwan - Taichung (up) - Tainan [going down ulit) - Zhouying (Kaohsiung) (even further down) then balik ulit sa Taipei?

Is that the best route?

Probably 1 day each in Taichung, Tainan and 2 days in Kaohsiung?

What do you think ladies?

I'll be spending 7 days in Taiwan po.

1st day arrival at Taipei
2nd day mid morning/early morning to Taichung
3rd Day Tainan
4th day Kaohsiung
5th day Kaohsiung
6th balik Taipei
7th Taipei - then go home

^it?s a nice area. Ayaw ko nga sana recommend ang area because I?m selfish and I like it too much. hehe! Sa MRT line it?s in between Ximending and Xinyi. May nearby small markets and malapit lapit din siya sa mga universities.

I joined sa KKDay daytour nila and kaya naman. mejo tight lang ang schedule nila pero kaya naman.

the nearest MRT is the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Station. Okay kaya dun? And also, may cherry blossoms na kaya between feb. 4 to feb. 7?

^Okay if it?s close to Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall station. Malapit ka na sa shopping destination Zhongxiao Dunhua (maski di ka na mag-Ximending to shop) and sa Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. A station away ka lang if you want to go to those two places.

Di pa pala ko nakapagshare ng trip namin last month. Thanks sa mga tips sisses! Sobrang natuwa ako sa taiwan yung sa train nila lol. Ang dali lang magets saka super convenient lang to go around taipei. Pagbalik ko ttry ko mag THSR yung unli pass nila para sulit at siguraduhin ko na magstay for a week man lang. 🙂

Nagstay kami sa ximending area. Super saya nga dito and alive by night and convenient din kasi may night market din. Napansin lang namin thou na double ang benta dito 😂 so for pasalubong sa iba na lang kami namili. I bought nougat cookies nga sa raohe and mochi. And sa pera more on cash kami since di kami nakapagmall at di naman tumatanggap ng cc yung mga shops around night markets.

Nagtaipei 101 kami by night. I realized mas maganda view ng daytime. For me lang ha. Hindi maganda view sa taipei 101. Tapos may harang pa sa 89th floor ata yun.. hirap kumuha ng panoramic shot using my phone. Kung ako siguro mas ok daytime if sa taipei 101 pero for sunset or night time mas ok sa elephant mountain. Thou di ko napuntahan. Siguro just the view of taipei 101 makes it beautiful na.

We went to yangmingshan national park. May onting hike din yun around the area. Naappreciate ko naman yung grasslands lol. Kasi i havent beent to NZ or batanes pero im guessing thats how they?d look like.

Yung yeh liu shifen jiufen kkday tour was mabilis pero sulit and masaya sya.. nagenjoy ako sa pagpalipad ng lantern. Ang ganda nya sa pic..

Throughout our stay hindi masyado ngpakita ang araw, pero maswerte pa din daw kami kasi halos everyday naguulan that time. Samin nung first day lang umulan, napabili tuloy kami ng payong don.

One week back from Taiwan. Start pa
lang ng winter that time pero maski the forecast was at 17 degrees C below pinapawisan pa rin ako.

I got the Sunny Hills pineapple cake from the 2nd floor of Terminal 2. Easy to miss kasi maliit ang shop. Expensive, more than 400 NTD for 10 pieces but at least I got real pineapple and mas malaman than the one I got before almost no pineapple. I also bought their honey cake, it?s good too for more than 300 ntd but no need to buy it for souvenir.

I?m very impressed with their baked goods so I bought boxes of Mister Donut and french pastries as gifts. Mister Donut is on the chewy side, like a hybrid of mochi and donut. Nakakapanibago at first bite due to the texture but hindi siya umay. Masarap din iyong barquillos nila and pork jerkies.

If short on time, 7-11 is a good place to shop for gifts. Their baked goods are also good and does not taste cheap. Doon na ako bumili ng facial masks from My Beauty Diary, and some Japanese chocolates that are hard to find.

2 seniors with me so our trip to Yangmingshan and Beitou, most of the time we were in the car, ikot ng ikot hanggang pumunta kami to a restaurant serving local food, mostly vegetables. Masarap siya but if you want your vegetables with cheese or cooked like pinakbet, don?t even bother.

Maganda ang Yehliu, maski madami tao relaxed pa rin ang vibe unlike Jiufen, wala pa one hour alis na kami sa sobra dami tao and di nakayanan ng mga seniors.

Songshan Cultural and Creative Park is a must see too, if you just want to rest. Eslite is next to it, souvenirs nila are on the expensive side.
